“Wah! I don’t wanna table.” Very accurate, Leonard! Hahahaha!
Aosapaoapaoaoajamapamana ama0aaka lapa a a apaoama a
For some reason, I absolutely loathe Leonard. I'm not sure if it's because Galecki is such a terrible actor, which in my opinion he is, or Leonard is just so punchable. Possibly both.
I find it funny how when Sheldon mentions Chaos Theory no one points out that, as it is pretty much random, it is equally likely to lead to a positive outcome
@@jrdc099he’s a great actor lol
I think they miss an opportunity for that joke. It should be
Penny “…. Ok now tell me the short answer”
Sheldon: “that’s the short answer”
Couldnt raj just grab a chair from the dining table and sit like penny 😂
Still it disturbs natural order lead to chaos😂😂😂
well the writers were racist thats why (its a joke )
in a tableau, there are always layers. that is why this iconic scene is shot in best angle
Sheldon would literally cry if he did that.
I think Sheldon would still complain if he did that. Even though the nice thing to do is make sure everyone has somewhere to sit.
“You’ve gotta stop letting Sheldon boss you around”
Really Penny, it’s like you don’t know Sheldon at all
"Stuck" with Samwise?! "Stuck"?! How Dare You Leonard!
Sam was the true hero of The Lord of the Rings...the writers not getting that is just one on the pile of them not getting 'nerd culture'
My problem with this episode was that Amy ruined the chances of Sheldon accepting the table in another scene. Leonard asked why buying the couch with Sheldon's beloved spot when they didn't have one at first was a good change but buying a dinner table was a bad change. Sheldon was actually stumped and couldn't find anything to say... but then Amy said "you don't need to explain yourself to him" and Sheldon jumped on that.
i hated how she enabled him this in episode when she was one of the first to suggest a table
she was avoiding breakup
I mean it was because she was trying to get her own way with him
I like how episodes like this are about more than the obvious. It's what I like about this show & some others. You can enjoy the slapstick elements &/or the deeper subtexts.
@@bunneechan_ not one of the first, she's the one who actually suggested it.
I enjoyed this show, watched it 3 times. But its moments like these that make me grateful, I didn't have to deal with people like Sheldon
Yes it one of those things that we like to watch but do not want it in our lives. Sheldon is, by far, my favorite character on the show but I could never be friends with him.
I know this series is making these situations for comedic effect, but people like Sheldon should be avoided at all cost in real life.
Good for him actually, he wouldn't have to care for whiny people like Leonard.
@@neocell710 Are you braindead? Have you even seen the show to call Leonard “whiny”? Sheldon’s a grown ass manbaby and if I had to deal with someone like that, I wouldn’t last one day before punching them right in the face to straighten their bratty behavior out.
Sheldon is seriously the worst
@@neocell710then he will be alone till his death.only ppl like leonard could have stayed with him.
@@Robin-rh5xz Nope, just decent people like myself, I don't mind Sheldon.
People are commenting on the chairs from the table, but more importantly, why didn't Raj ever just use Leonard's desk chair?
How is being stuck with Samwise Gamgee a problem? Bro carried the Fellowship on his shoulders, literally
He killed the damn spider!
Exactly. It's lines like this that show the surface level understanding the shows creators have of "nerd culture". Like the time Stuart argued Jason Todd should be the next Batman.
@@jasonbrawn8347 Tim Drake would be the logical choice.
@@bl3343I’m not a major comic guy but my reading of the character is that Bruce would *never* want any of his sons to take up the mantle: Batman was born because of grief and determination that no one would have to go through what he did and the reason it happened - by and large anyway - was because of how terrible a place Gotham was.
@@jasonbrawn8347Howard also claimed Darth Vader built the Death Star, Sheldon claimed the “X” in “X-Men” stood for Charles Xavier. Howard and Sheldon argued about Wolverine being born with bone claws and Sheldon used “Origin” to prove that he was instead of using the issue of “X-Men” where Magneto ripped out Logan’s Adamantium skeleton to show they had always been there as up to that point it was debated on whether or not the metal ones were the originals.
This is the proof the writers didn't fully understand nerds, who wouldn't choose Samwise as their favourite Hobbit
Why not?
stay far away from people like sheldon in real life, they'll suck the living life out of you.
Will, Sheldon was actually a very good friend. If it wasn't fur him. Some would've been in prison. Leonard and Howard. That's probably why they let him be.
@@juanayon5128 Oh god shut up. Sheldon was fucking horrible.
@@juanayon5128 Sheldon is an awful friend and even he says so in the finale. Great character, toxic person.

@@ptitecame6688Sheldon saved Leonard’s life in one episode
I know some people go the "waaah, why did Sheldon get his way again"-route, but please remember: There was literally no chance that this could have gone any other way. Why? Because the table wasn't comparable with the concept of the show. For one, if Amy and Sheldon would have sit there aswell, they would sit with their backs to the audience. There was also no chance for a group-shot. And not to mention that you don't change "the table", which usually is the cornerstorn for most sitcoms. The literal ending-shot of TBBT is them sitting around the couch.
I just noticed that when they moved back to the couch, Raj still sat on the floor, he could've just moved one of the chairs from the table.
Well, he's a dot indian. Those folks are really NOT too smart.
Really we run all your major businesses as CEOs and we are not smart
@@sairajpoojari2490now don't start talking logically with him he will get a headache 😂
@@Species5008And yet he is married to a former Miss India while u r busy figuring out the name of ur species.
Sheldon hates change and Raj is always on the floor.
Look, all they would have to do is call Sheldon's mom. Then, problem solved, they all set at the table. Baby loses 😂
Sheldon's kryptonian 😂
If they do it too much at a time, he might build up an immunity. If it's done only for the rare emergency and last resort, then he may not build up an immunity to it.
No, common sense would win. There's clearly no room for a table in that small space.
@@curiousmind2330 so close
I am with Leonard Sheldon should not always get his way about everything !
The irony in penny telling leonard to stand up for himself when shes worse at being bossy telling him what to do
Raj had a point.
One of Sheldon worse episodes. Where he acts like a baby, gets treated like a baby, and then FOR NO REASON the adults let the baby get his way. Hell Penny is the one who forced the issue AND THEN GIVES IN JUST BECAUSE!!!!!!!
“Sometimes the baby win”. Change sometimes to always and you have TBBT in a nutshell. And it’s why the show started to suck.
FACTS.
If the show sucks then why do you continue to watch it??? Try something else lad and calm down.
@@neocell710 It BEGAN to suck, dude. Focusing on Sheldon was a mistake.
Also, what point did Raj make, all he did was whine.
@@neocell710 try to explain how a show can go 12 seasons and suck for half of them. Seriously this show was great then it became the Sheldon cooper pander show and it was all downhill after that.
Seriously why were they friends with him? Shows have to have SOME LOGIC to them
4:20 a bottle with red cup ON the table... 4:25 a bottle is gone
If anything, Sheldon should be in agreement to having a dining table to eat food in a correct posture and less chance of spillages. While a dining table does mean being more social, which he may not like, he would want to pick out a table which best suits him being at the head of it.
Raj could've brought a chair over for himself
Victim mentality self otherizing ideology of the producers of the show and many people who think like them.
Its a comedy show bro its not that deep@@FATHOLLYWOODB123
A person like Sheldon wouldn’t last two minutes in real life without getting his face smashed
I've been saying that for much of the series & that would definitely be the case with real life versions of John Bender from The Breakfast Club, Biff Tannen or really any Tannen from the Back to the Future series (including the movie trilogy & the Telltale game), Johnny Lawrence or any of his friends/gang members (except for maybe Bobby who was a bit more compassionate) from The Karate Kid (1984) or Craig Kilborn's character from The Benchwarmers (I can't remember the character's name) who were all bullies who picked on the nerds (as they're known) & would've without hesitation just decked him once & knocked him to the ground.
Actually, I feel like a lot of the main cast (including Amy & Bernadette primarily of the females) wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes without getting socked in the face at some point in their lives because they were so whiny, bitchy or dramatic.
I'm not a Doctor Who fan, but I said Bernadette could've used a good sock across the mouth in that episode because of how bitchy & manipulative she was.

But the question is who wouldn't want Samwise Gamgee as their favorite hobbit?
Sam was a much better companion/hobbit than Frodo. Everyone should be proud to call Sam their favorite
What's wrong with Bilbo?
Sam's the hero of the story, anyway.
Gollum. Gollum nearly was redeemed by Frodo but Sam's treatment prevented that. Gollum was about to confess to Frodo that he was leading them towards Shelob but then Sam made a casual insult and that sealed Gollum's doom.
This episode reminders me of other sitcoms where a piece of furniture, usually against the wall opposite of the fourth wall that hardly gets used, is used one episode and some comments how weird it is that no one uses it and it’s kind of a waste of space
In other words his mommy made him sit at a table all the time now he does what he wants no matter who likes it or not.
Before people say it’s his autism let me just say I’m on the high end of the spectrum, and I’ve graduated high school, am majoring in welding and automotive technology, was in ROTC, pay taxes, work a job, own a business, and drive and maintain a car at 19 so not all of us are like this, I do mind change sometimes but I keep it to myself for the most part, because I don’t want to upset my friends and family. Their happiness matters a lot to me. I still have a lot of autistic quirks but I’ve learned to live with them and control them.
Speaking as a fellow autistic nice
I'm also on the high functioning end of the spectrum. I managed to serve in the Air Force and got a college degree. My friends accept me as I am, and understand when I need to withdraw for a day or two.
If only Bernadette could have been this compassionate with Howard.
she was at the beginning but they made her too much like his mom
Raj is totally right here.
This episode pissed me off. They let Sheldon get his way. I wish Amy would’ve chimed in with Leonard saying why was the couch a good change and the tables a bad change? And I wish they all would’ve told Sheldon tough shit eat all by yourself then.
I loved watching Sheldon have his way. It's the essence of the show..
Boohoo don't like it don't watch
lol whining about a sitcom 😂
They had no reason to feel bad for Sheldon. It’s not like they were rejecting him. He was the one rejecting them and their idea of doing something different.
Sam is the best hobbit.
Clearly Frodo
@@p.n.r8511 Frodo chose to believe a totally-not-suspicious Gollum over someone who watched him over the entire trek...if it wasn't for Sam then Frodo should've been spider food
@manf1sh995 Movie-Frodo, yes, but not book-Frodo.
Understatement. "You gotta stop letting Sheldon bossing you around." There are only a few people who don't let him boss them around
Sheldon probably doesn't want to be reminded of childhood dinners at the dining room table in Texas
I think more to the point of why they wouldn't use the table is that it makes shooting the show much harder than if they're sitting in a way that's already facing the camera (i.e the couch area).
Leonard was an adult and he could move out msny, many, many times
Sheldon simply DOESN'T LIKE CHANGES
Lenard deffinatly should have won that one, it just made sense and Sheldon was being a huge baby.
Ugh. Giving in to Sheldon. The biggest L there is.
Hence the reason why he acts that way.
dude, Samwise over Frodo anytime
“Sheldon doesn’t like reclaimed wood…he’s afraid the original owners will come back” LOL 😂
I'd love to wipe that smirk off Sheldon's face. Is it written into Jim Parson's contract that Sheldon always wins?
Here it is again 4:19
And again 4:19
And again 4:19 😊
Sometimes the baby wins was so adorable the way he said it
BIG EVIL BABY..... LMAO
My take-away when I first saw this episode was that their common area was big enough for a 3- or 4-bedroom apartment, and downright massive for a 2-bedroom.
In all the years they dined at Leonard and Sheldon's apartment, Raj never thought to take Leonard's chair at his desk and sit on it. He sat on the floor because he wanted 😂
1:39 😆😆😆
Leonard CANNOT Live without Sheldon even if he Tried!
Sheldon is responsible for not going to federal prison. That's probably one of the reasons why he lets him be. Just like Howard. Any, was so desperate and sad to have friends that she just let him be.
@@juanayon5128 Sheldon has committed crimes on purpose. Leonard didn't intend to break the elevator.
3:40 i was your fucking idea in the first place
After watching Young Sheldon, we realize so much is Sheldon’s trauma from his dad dying
2:28 "Stuck with Samwise Gamgee" Excuse me, "stuck with"? Sam is the best character, Frodo wouldn't have made it with Sam.
Samwise is a great character.
As an Indian it's terrible how Sheldon did everything he ever could, to KEEP Raj on the floor.
Disgusting manipulation here.
Why are they sitting on one side of the table as if they are eating the last supper now 😂
In the show it was bc those two seats were for Sheldon and Amy. In real life it was so that you no one had their back turned to the camera
I mean the roommate agreement screws Leonard always and benefits Sheldon 😂😂
Notice How they’re always eating.
😂😂😂
having a favorite hobbit is not bad, some person have favorite artist, favorite Kardashians, why not hobbits?
Because Lord of the Rings are for nerds
@@whocares4598Your point being?
@@marcomosges4255 Lord of the rings is overrated crap
Sheldon understood Howard’s sarcasm in this scene
Who the hell would choose Frodo over Sam?
When Leonard says 'he's here' and taps his head, that speaks volumes about how controlling and manipulative the situation is. This is a comedic show, but in real life, if you have people, constantly in your head affecting everything you do, you likely need to get away from them and get help to get rid of that mental bondage.
Speak from experience
To be fair. Samwise is the objectively correct answer
*Stuck* with Samwise Gamgee? He's the best character in the whole trilogy!
Poor Raj
Windows part too relatable.
Ok no one's favorite hobbit should be Frodo, it's Samwise Gamgee or no one else lol
In every group there is a big baby 😅
2:23, this is why nerds for the most part didn't get on board with this show. They were being misrepresented. In a group of nerds it is highly unlikely that anyone would pick Frodo as their favorite hobbit.
Sheldon's true power was manipulation and pity.😂😂😂😂
I 100% agree with Raj lol 😆
And his friends look on, i want to be on that couch? Raj says.
True!
Why I don’t recall this episode
Samwise is the best of the two. Frodo would have died a dozen times without Sam.
Actually, now that I think about it, there's an interesting comparison between both friendships
they arent eating at all
i think this is one of the most funny moment lenard has for the entire series
I know this isn't the main thing in the video, but if Raj doesn't want to sit on the floor but still wants to be with the group, couldn't he just bring one of the chair at least?
This is a prime example of why he sucks.
Nailed it.
This is a prime example of why the big bang theory never should've been made in the first place
You know, after watching young sheldon and rewatching the big bang theory, it really does help understand Sheldon's character in moments like this where it involved change. Change is a negative experience for him cause of his dad's death. Afterwards he tries his hardest to keep things constant because he can't face the results of the change. So while its annoying when he has moments like these were he is complaining about it, it also is pretty sad cause you know why he is so stubborn about keeping things at a constant.
Not that I agree with Sheldon's behavior, but I prefer eating with friends on a couch over a dining room table any day of the week.
Where did the ledge come from? They showed the apartment completely empty once and the ledge isn’t there
Windows 98 was one of my favorite OS's.
That computer was originally a iMac monitor
I’m reading a lot of anger towards Sheldon, and I don’t disagree that he gets his way nearly all the time with everyone unfairly, however I think these moments are being overlooked -
2:05 - 2:11
2:35 - 2:47
Ironic that Penny told Leonard not to allow Sheldon to boss him around but then she did the same thing essentially - not exactly bossed him around but Leonard only chose the dining table because Penny liked it and was happy not because he liked it. Double standard hypocrisy from both of them, especially Penny.
The issue is that Leonard has no trouble standing up to Sheldon and complaining about him doing that to him, but Penny does the same thing and even things that Sheldon doesn’t do to Leonard and he gladly gives into and takes it from her because he cares about getting laid by her.
At least Sheldon is consistent with his actions and decisions on purpose and not to get sex out of it from them.
Leonard also only gave up in the end because Penny told him to, yet Sheldon’s the only one who’s blamed for being too controlling when Penny has asserted dominance over Leonard too that he just allows because he gets sex if he enables her.
Leonard is a pu××y...since episode 1
This entire moment really upset me. I was hoping this would end as a change Sheldon finally didn't get his way with and actually had to deal with it
They almost never actually eating anything, only sticking forks in food. Why bother with table?
Raj have to seating in floor again? Unfair
All they had to do was to get 2-3 more chairs and why is raj still sitting on the floor? Just pick one chair from the dining table, bring to the spot he is sitting and sit on it.
No, don't crack so easily!!!
It feels like Sheldon childhood memories of dinner table
I’d have that computer unplugged and that desk out of there Sheldon wouldn’t know what hit him.
Samwise Gamgee is the better choice, Leonard!!
1:01 is that not a dining room table back there?
It's more like a kitchen counter with stools. Maybe you'd eat breakfast there.
That tism.....
Penny and Bernadette were bitching about getting a dinner table and when they got it immediately change their mind. Women being women
Personally, i think Sam was the true hero of the book... just my opinion
Imagine eating take out food every single night of your life.
Guys like Sheldon find themselves out behind the barn with an A wippen...
Bernadette should sit on the floor
Funny how all the people who DIDN'T live there all of a sudden wanted to change something. Getting a table or not, that conversation should be between Leonard and Sheldon, the rest of the have nothing they should have said. And someone should tell Raj that there are other chairs in the apartment soooo... Just use one of them lol.
Sheldon loves to get this baby treatment
Sheldon is unrealistically spoiled and entitled..
Raj could have taken a chair.
They should buy Chair
