    Only holosun i can recommend is the 515gm. Been beating the crap out of mine, and it's lived on my ak's gastube rail. Gets beat and cooked. It's on par with the t2 in my book(if you change the mount) for everything but night vision usage. Anyways overall i agree it's better to stick with the known quality but the 515gm is the exception. Good video my dude!
    Edit* i forgot to add that personally ill never choose to go below 1.93 for dots ever again. My favorite is the unity fast for the t2, it's comfy for nods, easy to learn hold overs and backups built in is neato since irons are so far down the list on my priorities for nvg guns, but having them built in is neato.

      @@edward_the_bruce Haven’t used that holosun before. Unfortunately I and others don’t have money or time to test a bunch of different products. I prefer to go with proven products. I’m glad it’s working out for you though and that you understand quality is important. Thank you, I hope it helped in some way. I understand the benefit for nods. Learning holds isn’t too bad but it takes more training and adds in a variable. I do like the back up irons sights in the mount, definitely a cool feature. I understand people wanting higher mounts or top mounted dots for nods. 1.93 and lower 1/3 is doable for passive night vision shooting though, not as comfortable obviously.

    11:53 cheek riser my guy

      @@AliAkbar_313 That could be a solution to the problem. Only people I see using those is gbrs right now.

      @@AliAkbar_313 Haven’t really seen any that look good to use. Usually they’re really small and in the back of the stock so you can still actuate your charging handle. Your neck would be straight up to use it which isn’t terrible. It’s just adding more weight and height over bore is kind of annoying and can become a problem if not trained. Potentially thinking of switch to lower 1/3.

      @ That’s a pretty cool riser design, just not a big fan of risers in general and adding weight. Thanks for the recommendation though.

      @@vlun1215 Yeah these optic heights are getting out of hand. I’m sold my taller mounts. I’m younger so absolute cowtiness hasn’t been very common for me but I’m getting to the point of returning to the lower 1/3 cowtiness. That’ll be the height I go to for my mk18 with the quick detach Eotech. Height over bore and a weak cheek weld is pretty annoying.

    3:58 don’t count holosun out my guy, I got a 503 model that has been on since the day I got it and I run that mfr

      @GearAndGuns  2 месяца назад

      @@AliAkbar_313 Unfortunately I can’t recommend them. Holosun has a decent amount of failures and broken optics. They’re not reliable enough for me to have confidence in them when lives are on the line. There a decent budget training option for sure and I understand a lot of people use them, but I don’t want to steer someone in the wrong way. I think quality is better than quantity and I would recommend someone save up for a better option. They’ll be happier in the long run.
