I don't judge, I'm on the tail end of a January no buy resolution that I have blown out of the water. The Sommelier palette looks wonderful. Might be a nice compliment to my M. Graham. I don't like water brushes fir the same reason you mentioned. I'm new to your channel, gonna head over and see what else you got.❤

Wonderful haul! I really love Senneliers cool and warm reds and violets...some of the best in my opinion out of all the pro grade brands. A few years ago the RUclips channel "In Liquid Color" did a full range Sennelier swatching on student grade and pro grade paper (2 seperate videos), if your interested in see all the colors swatched out. She also does Schmincke and Da vinci and maybe a few others- the channel has slowly died down over the last few years and presently I dont think she is active and posting videos anymore-so i dont think youll get any responses if you post any comments on said videos BUT the videos still offer great clear swatches of the entire line that is awesome and helpful:) I cant wait to see your future reviews of this haul! Ps. I do believe you can take the metal out of that palette- I saw a video of someone doing exactly that somewhere- I just cant remember where- anyway she had to do a little work but she did eventually get it off and she put her half pans in it after and the palette was perfect. Ill try to find the video if i can:) Thanks for sharing and much love💙

Thanks so much ! I plan on doing a swatching/ first impressions video on these as well as a full review later on . So far I have to say they are so creamy and luminous. I had actually thought going into it they must be over hyped but I'm glad to say I was wrong . These paints really do have a glazing and luminous quality that's unique to them .they are different than any other paints I own and I'm loving them .

Hello I recently bought the Sennelier travel set with eight half pans. They wet beautifully and are so creamy. No need to wait for the pigment to soften. I don’t have any W&N pans so I can’t compare. The travel set itself is a bit of a dud. The lid is clear plastic and the cubes of watercolor are placed into a plastic insert. So I popped out the blocks of watercolor and put them into my own empty half pans.

Thank you so much for your input. I wondered about that little set . The price is so good , it seems worth it to pop em out and put them in your own palette.

@@nicolemartinart5819 you’re welcome! I agree it is a very good price. The color selection could have been a little bit better, but for the price I can’t complain.

@@shadowguard3578 it sounds like a great way to try the brand without investing too much and then adding more colors over time if you like them . So far though I'm loving my sennelier tubes . The paints as so luminous and creamy . They really are special.
