Sorry for the late reply, it's the Rustoleum EpoxyShield Driveway Sealer, there are 2 version... one is 4 hours rain ready and the other one is 1 hour. I got the 4 hours one.
Really informative, thanks for sharing. Can we do the driveway sealing in the afternoon when the sun is on the other side and not on my driveway? The sun starts hitting my driveway at 6.30 am which will not leave me with enough time to do 2 coats.
Thanks! Usually the sun at 6AM is pretty weak, maybe try 4AM. LOL just kidding. I understand your point, but starting in the afternoon has another problem, it may not give you enough time to dry.
From Blackjack Coatings directly: "Under ideal conditions, typically we recommend waiting 4-12 hours, and until the first coat is fully dry and cured all the way through the film. In optimal conditions, if the driveway is sealed early in the morning and the entire driveway is in full sun and is fully dry, you may apply a second coat the same day."

Hi there - I’m hoping you can help. I subbed. I just had asphault installed and they want to charge me 3k to put soil and grass seed around the edges of my driveway and more to add stones. I’m like I can do that myself for a fraction of the cost. Do you have a video showing what steps are required? I want to be sure I’m doing it right with the correct gradient. Well be using maybe 1/3 inch rocks / pebbles not big ones like yours. Thanks. 🙏
I’ve seen this product in stores and I don’t see what makes it so much better than regular cold patch that can be bought at 10-13 USD for a 50# bag. I’ve got regular cold patch on my driveway that’s 9 years old and still holding up fine.. I just don’t see spending that kinda money on a pothole
it will cost way too much in product. Someone with a hot-box can do a hot-mix job probably for the same price as what you would pay alone for the cold-patch materials and it will look much better.

That finish and feather is ART - incredible DIY quality
Finally found an actual DIY asphalt extension driveway 😊
Looks great, thanks for using Aquaphalt.
Beautiful job! Great, simple, straightforward explanation!
Very thorough and well-thought out video. Even the raccoons were impressed.
Great DIY content.
You’re a pretty good presenter.
Best regards from Ohio.
Thank you for making this video! Very helpful and detailed! Cheers from California!
Thanks, much appreciated your DIY's advice and guidance.
Thank you for this and somehow RUclips read my mind as we're getting our driveway done soon and needed a way to reinforce the sides.
Good info. Thank you! What driverway sealer do you recommend?

This is beautiful will definitely be giving this a shot at my home. Thank you!!
When you install it, do you install flush with the existing driveway or a little raised? Does the product settle at all
Great video. Am I able to use this aquaphalt material for spider cracks also or better used just for larger potholes etc?
Thank you for this video! Did you do the second coat the next morning or did you do it the same day?
Same
Very well done video thank you!
Very nice! Looks great and looks like it was simple to do.

Nice finish 👍
How long did you wait before applying the second coat?
How long do you let the Aquaphalt cure for before adding the sand based product to fix the surface issue? 1 hour? 24 hours?
Great you need to watch repaint your own asphalt whatever color you want
Up to $100 now! Thanks for the video :)
Amazing video!
Did you put the second coat of the sealer immediately after the first? Or did you wait a bit to let it dry?
Hi, same question! Would love your advice on that

This is amazing!
Very helpful. Thanks.

@@DIYable thank you for your reply! 🙏
@@DIYablehi this is great. When do you apply the second coat? Is it immediately following the first coat? Next day? Thanks
Can i use limestone screening under
how does this hold up in Canadian snowy winters?
Can you use this process over exisiting asphalt that has sunken? I’m assuming the liner wouldn’t be needed it so?
awesome thank you :)

I picked up Aquaphalt from home depot for $96
Thank you for the video!
why do you need two coats of sealer?

Same here. I bought the expensive stuff once and the cheap stuff and used them side by side. Performed the same.
Can this be used to pave an entire driveway?
could this be used if I wanted to widen my asphalt driveway by about a foot or two for parking? What would have to be different?

woah!! nice :O
Wonder how much to do my entire driveway....
Now 30 bucka + tax more expensive (Aquaphalt) 😢
Why not just start with the epoxy
Epoxy doesnt do well with cracks and shrinkage. Its better to fill it in completely with asphalt to keep it leveled and properly filled in.
Aquaphalt a ripoff at $98 / container.
👍
Now it’s $98 CAD 😔
And in 2024 it's $100 + tax
Are you a robot 🤖?
I've heard of raising dogs....but not racoons....🤣
You must be OCD to worry about 3" of drive alignment on the other side of a sidewalk. Good content for making a vid I guess.
your intonation and inflection is making me want to claw my ears out but good video.
This dude sings everything he says.
For that $20 increase, all thanks to Bidenomics
You do realize it says Canadian DYIer????
