  • Filmed in Sedona, Arizona on February 25th, 2011 @ the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa. Mr. Torn was in town for the 2011 Sedona International Film Festival and we got a chance to capture a press Q&A session with the Legendary Actor.

    The film, 'Cross Creek,' was one of the classic films being shown at the 2011 Sedona International Film Festival. The film earned Mr. Torn an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 1983 film.

    easily the best character ever...tv or movies...i am dead serious...it is brilliance...his delivery is second to none

    Ironically, Garry was the straight man in that show. Artie and Hank were fkn hilarious!

    I never saw this show when it was on. I'm going to see if I can find it on RUclips or something. I absolutely LOVED Rip in Albert Brook's "Defending Your Life," and he stole every scene he was in in "Down Periscope," too.

      @@michele21auntiem I love when the 'prosecution' had been whipping him like a circus monkey all day, and they ask Rip if he has anything he wants to present--"Nothing at this time..." And Brooks (real name Einstein) flatly says, "Wow, you are good."
