Every girl had a crush on Sebastian in the 80s. I had the pleasure to meet him once at an instore record signing. He was very cool and personable and very good looking in real life. This was about the time he did Jecyll and Hyde on Broadway.
@@davidsuttles101 have you seen the live of I Remember You in Japan 1989? It’s one of my favorite live performances of that song. The Wembly live is a really good one too.
What girl doesn’t fall in love with Sebastian! My god he is beautiful isn’t he! He by far had the best hair of the all the 80s guys! He is still good looking! And that voice!!!!
I was 17 when this came out. I remember watching it on MTV and being blown away by both Bach’s vocals and appearance. His poster immediately went up on the wall right next to Jon Bon Jovi 😍
I personally like their harder stuff better, "Slave to the Grind" (of course!) and "Monkey Business," but to show off Sebastian's voice at it's very best, you've got to introduce her to "Wasted Time." It's not my favorite song of theirs (great song, just not my favorite), but the vocals on that track are the best I've ever heard. The raw emotion coming through is soul crushing.
"18 & Life" was their best song and "I Remember You" was a close 2nd. I know the songs you're referring to aren't as popular. I like their radio songs as my 2 favourites.
I saw Skid Row back around 1995 at the Fillmore in SF. And Joe Satriani was the opener. It was incredible. Bach was awesome, what range. But my best memory from that concert will always be Joe Satriani playing Cryin'.
Skid Row. One of my faves of that era. I've got a passion for tall hot blondes. 🔥🔥🔥 Pair that with an incredible voice, and I turn into a bug puddle of goo. Now react to "Wasted Time", and hear what those pipes can do! Love your love for this music, and that IS a beautiful intro, then it keeps getting faster and angrier. Powerful video, powerful voice. This was when bands played instruments, people sang, and stories were told. Yeah the intro had that Metallica vibe, so please react to Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters", also has a great intro. ☮️to all
Sebastian is from another planet. Skid Row, my favorite band since I was 12. Still to this day, I easily say Skid Row. (with Sebastian of course). I know Wasted Time is up there as far as requests, but where do you go after you listen to the best song ever?!?! :)
After all the drinking 🍺 in the 1980s, Sebastian Bach can still sing this song and other songs today! 🤯 He has some funny 😆 stories including some Van Halen stories. L 🤣 L Suggested video 📹: Skid Row performs I Remember You.
One of my very favorites by them Is the song youth gone wild Sweet Little sister which was not a hit But one of my favorite tracks monkey business slave to the grind Are a couple others
Definitely agree on that one Sébastien Bach was probably the best to come out in the 80s, and easily ranks in the top five from that period. Dio, Dickenson, Halford, and Sammy Haggar. Would be the others in the top 5, but the rest all started in the 70s or earlier.
@@davidpeters44 I had this conversation during Easter. I said that I heard Queensryche Silelent Lucidity, back when it first came out. OK I guess it’s a matter of opinion. Sebastian Bach was a good singer. He was definitely a big part of the 80s but the best singer of that era that’s a stretch we have queens right iron maiden even the singer from slaughter was incredible.
You should've shown her "I'll Remember You" but maybe it's good you didn't because she might have popped and ovary haha. I actually got to see Skid Row in concert back in the day AND on Broadway in NYC when he was the lead in Phantom of the Opera.
I'm actually sure Michael Kiske from Helloween, was a better singer than Sebastian. I saw both bands live, in their prime, believe it was -88 and 89, both as opening acts. Helloween for Maiden and Skid Row for Mötley. Kiske could and can still do everything live, and Bach had problems live already back then.
9 1/2, is she mad? :P but as for having a crush, hey, us straight men had crushes on him back in the day. too haha, jokes aside, great reaction btw, give her some darkened room, wasted time, quicksand jesus and then hit her with some mudkicker, youth gone wild, slave to the grind ;) haha
Better singers, yes. But Bach just had that "it" factor that I'm not sure that either of those two other guys had. I mean, Mick Jagger doesn't have the BEST voice... but his style fit the music. Same with Daltrey and The Who. Even the dude from Cinderella didn't have the "best" voice. But they all had somethin they brought to the table. But, I'm just one guy out here on this big ol rock and my opinions are just that. Opinions :)
