We have vintage 1970s green cabinets & lovely greent tile countertops (RUclips please allow commenters to add photos). They bring zen to my family. We love them.
I Love to get notifications that you've posted a new video💖. I have had the same thing happen and tried to like it but had to repaint it. You have done such a beautiful job on your home and can't wait to see what you do with your new home😊
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying. We're really working on being consistent and it's been a blast. I'm glad I'm not alone with color regrets. At least paint color changes are an easy DIY 💕
Ive been wanting to paint my cabinets the same color but i wasnt sure how to go abt it and was kinda nervous but your house looks great! Im for sure gonna do the same!!
Thanks, Samantha! If I can do it you can do it. I have more helpful tips on the blog pot if you need some extra guidance 💕 www.farmhouseliving.com/blog/paint-kitchen-cabinets-with-jolie-paint-easy-diy
I know that you are in a new home now, but I keep coming back to these videos because we have a 1965 ranch home that we are renovating. We are trying to figure out what to do with the kitchen. Like this house, our only dinning is in the kitchen. Can you please give me the dimensions of the entire kitchen/dining room? Also, can I ask where your microwave is, or did you have one in this kitchen? Thank you so much, I desperately need help deciding what to do.
Yes! On the blog post I shared a little bit about why I didn’t take the doors off. I did spray the insides and backs of the doors. Spraying made it easy to get all the nooks I wouldn’t have been able to reach with a brush. Also the painters who painted my cabinets originally painted with the doors on so I knew it workout when he did it. In that home I didn’t have a garage and so it would have been really challenging to store the drawers to dry.
Did you place anything inside the cabinet doors? I keep thinking that they would stick once the paint dries. But I'm clueless. Can some help with an answer? Thanks
It looks great!! you could have breathed in to much. You do just jump in, but you are young. Are you sorry you sold your redone home? Have you found something else? questions !! I enjoyed it. so until next time. Joyce
Thanks Joyce! I had prayed about moving for a year because it was a smaller home and we wanted a little more land. I honestly didn’t think it was possible in this market but someone offered us the perfect home on two acres. It’s so close to our old one that my husband road the riding lawn mower here 😂 It was perfect for us. If our new home didn’t come up as an opportunity we wouldn’t have sold. It was just meant to be! Thanks for watching Joyce!
I used the Wagner SprayTech Flexio 3000 rstyle.me/+NmaK7bA1TMy6wKID-_WLIQ It was so easy to use. I watered it down a little bit mostly to make the paint go farther, but you don't have to water it down with Jolie Paint. Thanks for watching Elizabeth! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Have you ever had a design regret or color choice that you didn't love the final result as I had with my black cabinets? ✨
Yes! We tiled our counter tops and we hate them! The grout lines alway get stained and it’s a nightmare 😂.
Love it! Love the sage!
I love your kitchen now. The vent also adds so much to the space. Lots of work but so worth it!!!
Yes! The vent was my favorite part 😊 Thanks for watching Barb!
Your kitchen turned out gorgeous
Thank you!! 😊
I love the color! Great job!

I love how it turned out ! I was wondering why you didn’t take the doors off ? Did you spray the insides of cabinets and the back side of doors ?

I opened the doors and sprayed inside too.

We didn’t. We just left them open while they dried.
@@FarmhouseLiving now why didn't I think of that! Told ya I'm clueless lol. Thanks:)
@@bbjonas4233 lol it wasn’t so obvious in the video 😊 You’re welcome!

I’m very confused about this video… lots of stuff isn’t covered from overspray, did it get all over your furniture?
What sprayer do you use and did you have to thin our the paint?

@@FarmhouseLiving Thank you for the reply!
Where in the world is your paint mask? You acknowledge that the air was filled with varnish, and yet you didn’t think to protect your lungs?
We're trying to do a sage through sherwin Williams and cannot get the color we want, similar to this. Green is tougg
