The Crop Duster is Roadkill's back-to-basics street and strip machine with big-block power. And after years of paint and body work, it's finally time to piece the Crop Duster back to life. Freiburger and Dulcich get the engine and trans back in the freshly-painted beauty after adding some extra cubic inches. The 383 has been stroked to 440ci and finally fires up, and then it's time for some burnouts! #RoadkillGarage #Roadkill #MotorTrend - Авто/Мото
I miss when roadkill was free 😞
This was free
@@Moparmaga-1 not free enough
I watch full episodes for free🤷🏽♂️
ruclips.net/video/MvM-IEMzOy45/видео.html
Lol, just pay the 4$. Support the stuff you like or it disappears. Nothing is free in this world.
Saw this episode a while ago when it aired on Motortrend. This car is a Dulcich masterpiece! That's one of the healthiest engines I've heard on this show. The burnout at the end was epic!
I come back and rewatch occasionally. Its my favorite of freiburgers cars.
love it. half mile burnouts and all Dulcich can say it "Dude" hahaa love it
Probably the best burnout I've seen, that was epic
That is probably the most epic burnout. You know it's something when your buddy is telling you to lift
dulcich is a legend. he did all that paint work with the most 1980's tools I've ever see.
*I still remember when David Freiburger said that Roadkill will be free on youtube forever.*
You realize he's just a producer/writer/actor. I am fairly certain neither of them had control over the move to mototrend on demand.
Plus roadkill is still free on motortrend. All the episodes, you just have to wait an extra month for each new episode to come out.
I wish it could
@@hugovandyk3845 same here brother, thinking of just to subscribe, download all the episodes and watch in peace, or to download nearly all episodes from torrents, last time I checked, many of them where missing, thats kind of sad
What a crock!
This is my favorite Roadkill Garage car of all time! Dulcich did a great job on the paint and that stoker 440 is strong, that burnout at the end was epic!
I’m used to them just keeping the “patina” on the vehicle. Strange to see a Roadkill car having bodywork and a proper paint job done. Looks good!
Except for the headliner. I mean, not even in this attempt at decency. I don't recall they ever had a headliner in anything... What is it? A paranoia something is going to fall out of it and eat them?
@@josephrepine693 Finnegan put a head liner in bud 1969 Pontiac firebird that was white
You see that rolling burnout at the end? THAT'S why I build Dusters! Mine is a little bigger... it's a 470.
Lol heck yeah !!!!.... I bought mine decades ago, it's a 1971 and set up for the 426 Hemi by a drag team out of Livonia Michigan. It has set all these years because of health problems and divorces. I'd like to get it together and the body is absolutely mint from top to bottom. Funny how circumstances change so much. Your duster sounds awesome :-) I'm sure it is!
@@70stunes71 don't waste another second. Do it!!!!!
Wish my 360 duster could do that
I wonder if he messed with the proportioning valve so he could ride the brake the whole way.
@@liamadvena2921 you need another 100cubic inches dude. Not that a 360 isn't fun, but a stroked low deck is more fun. Plus Frieburger's car has a 4.11 gear 8.75in diff the back. Dusters rock.
Dulcich is a great character. I saw that episode when we got to meet him and immediately thought this guy needs to be part of this permanently.
Y’all need to post full episodes back to RUclips
Nope. Pay for Motortrend, it's worth it

Eh just watch Car Throttle.
Ahhhh, to have a friend like Dulcich !
I lost it during the vacuum filter part 😂
I went thru this with my brother, and he snapped.......10 minutes later the mess is cleaned up, he hands me a cold beer, and we go right back to work..........
Wow, that 383 engine when you said upping the stroke I was thinking 426, nope 0.065 overbore makes a low deck 440... Awesome
its the way to go..cubic inches and brake master cylinder clearance. no need for the DOT5 to avoid boiling. and yeah, i expected 426, few are Mopar enough to know that shard bore size.
nice work on the crop duster . that motor sounds pretty healthy . love the centerlines on it too . old school look is boss on a mopar . i have a 71 duster 340 factory h code and four speed . mine is purple with a black vinyl roof, blacked out hood along with tops of the fenders and doors but on the hood i have the 340 wedge callout decal . ive got centerline autodrags on it . the 340 in mine has edelbrock aluminum heads , comp cams thumper roller cam , lunati roller lifters and roller rockers , edelbrock air gap intake , billet holley 750 and hooker super comp headers .
The BEST car roadkill has done. Simple hot rodding. Simple car that we relate to. An oh yes. That modern max wedge thumper. Big mopar wedges are simple an robust. An belt out tons of grunt... Thanks guys👍
This is my favorite Roadkill car love Duster's
Dulsich is the man.
That was probably the most epic burnout I've ever seen them do. Glad to know it got put back together.
I'm always impressed with the knowledge these guys have acquired and seem to recall on-demand.
Sick burnout! 🇺🇲
Something about Dolcich, when he smiles it makes me smile. More roadkill garage.......on RUclips that is
I love seeing this car on here. My first "gofast" car was a 70 "Gold" Duster that had a 318 with a 4 speed swapped in to it.
They got the stance on that Duster PERFECT! And those rims are right at home.
Dudeeeeeee thats so sick I miss my first duster so bad I was such a young kid haha yall did awesome thank you for sharing
Almost made me tear up 😢
@@sfielding10001 totally get it. I remember as a kid my dads old '72 340. Miss that car
I think everybody had a Duster! The Gold Dusters were really popular, the slant six and 318 models.
@@sfielding10001 you deserve a big ole hug
@@Tonyk24 man I was 16 with that car and I had a BLAST it was just an old 360 but it still would scoot
Roadkill will always be one of my favorite shows!
So happy to see the crop duster back. Very happy to see it painted and fully restored. Wish I had one like it.
thank you for finishing the duster .
That was awesome!....What an episode!...EPIC!...Dulcich RULES
This is the most beautiful car I've ever seen. It will be my unicorn now
It's 2023. I had just seen EP 40 so now this episode. Now I remember the Crop Duster...I think. Many it was another Crop Duster. It's been quite a long time.
Its nice to see you finishing a car, don't forget the headliner !
Roadkill is number ONE!
The vacuum filter was hilarious 😂 seriously funny
wow first time these boys rebuilt and painted a car, love it
Crop Duster looks soooo good. Now to make that interior look new again. 👍👍
I've missed all the Roadkill and other MT shows since they went off RUclips. Glad there's still snippets though.
Hey guys love the show. Easy fix for the sagging hood, I’m a bodyman and have seen this issue a few times in my day. Every time you add material to stiffen the hood which also adds weight, which works against you. I put a bump stop under the center of the hood on the cowl and problem solved. Quick cheap and easy !
Had a band with my best bud back in the late 70's and he'd drive us around in a 6 cyllander version of this car. Puts a lump in my throat seeing what you lads have done with this girl. Mad respect!
The combination between all guys that's on the episodes plus the great cars and info makes roadkill & roadkill garage one of the most watch car shows around. The not so serious attitudes and joking around really makes working cars seem fun again. Always looking forward to a new episode and more so going back to a previous just for laughs. Keep up the great work.
Gives me a lot of joy to see this duster done! My 1st car was a duster and I remember seeing the episode where they 1st showed this duster. Glad you rescued it !
Bring the episodes back to RUclips!!!!!!!!!!!!
Duster has been my favorite ride of all the rides I've ever owned and I miss the 2 that I owned growing up...
That burnout at the end
One of my favorite episodes !!!! So inspirational!!!! It gives me hope for my Edsel!!! Thank you so much.
I really am glad to see that car redone! Looks great, now sub frame connectors and a six point cage & it's ready for some serious racing!
Nothing like a big block A body! 👍👍👍👍👍
Absolute favorite of all time a 70 Plymouth duster.... nice job fellas
This show is the only reason I want motortrend on demand, dulcheck and Dave are so good!
Congratulations !!!! The Crop Duster came out totally awesome!!!!!! Now you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Great video and thanks for sharing. I learned so much.
when Dulcich gets excited he does a Steve Wonder with his head
I think the big headline is Dulcich! It is his premiere performance!
That 440 sounds vicious.
LMAO, poor Steve 😂 "STOP!" Put your purse down Steve, Dave got this 👍🏻
No engine builder likes to see his work ABUSED needlessly. That's just a FACT not a pussified moment. Blow it up while trying to get that extra 1/10th second shaved off your best 1/4 mile time and he can easily live with it and understands completely. On the other hand? Blow it up doing silly burnouts. That's just annoying and makes a builder ask, "What were you thinking?" followed up closely by "You're a dumbass!"
Bring a grower, Dulcich knows carloads of farm workers can come blasting through those four-way intersections unseen until it’s too late.
Thank you for building a car instead of destroying one. Very nice!
This is my favorite all time episode!
Nice to see you guys can do good work when you put your will power into it.
I had a Duster briefly way back when. It was a bit rusty and only had a slant 6 but I really enjoyed driving that car.
There's nothing as sweet as a rolling burnout
Great Episode .Thanks guys ,really enjoyed it .
I need a 70's duster. They are definitely one of my favorites of all time
Take that to the drag strip please and do a episode
These two always deliver!
I'm absolutely stunned. This is the coolest, most beautiful car of the whole internet. And the roadkill boys built it!! Job very well done guys!
Nice seeing y'all paint this car and hopefully interior!
It's got the right name that burnout was Awesome !!
Thumb up for the Crop Duster! That was an amazing rolling burnout at the end. :-)
So happy with the results hats off to both of you !
Dave changing the filter is one of the funniest things Ive seen in ages
I'm not a Mopar person but this is the one Mopar car that I do like and the year. When i was a kid a guy in the neighborhood named Gary had the same exact one but his was green and I remember when he tube it out and had the biggest tires i had ever seen in my 10 years on earth at that time. Lol
we need full episodes but imagine the patience on working on a car for 2 years I need that 🤣😭
Body work and repair takes a tremendous amount of forethought, discipline and patience. Rust, mould and rodent pellets gets old after some time. Glad to see something clean on Roadkill for a change.
Late sixty MOPAR's bring allot of nostalgia back to me. ✌
It's really nice to see you guys take a car all the way to completion.
I miss when motortrend was available in Sweden, subscribed for many years and then no more available 😢
What a beast, you guys make a great duo, much better than the older days
Roadkill should be brought back to this channel..
looks AWESOME !!! STEVE IS THE MAN !!!
yup gave me goose bumps claw to the floor thanks fellas.
Thats badass y'all are given me inspiration to build one of these got a duster sitting in my back yard been there 15 years covered up. when I get done restoring my dads 69 Plymouth Satellite 4speed 383 H.P that my wife not to happy about because she says im spending to much time and money on the car she really isn't going to be happy when I tell her what my next project going to be. But she will be happy in the end because it's going to be her car to go race and enjoy but im going to wait to tell her until its done
Hey polishing chrome molding or edging is the same process as polishing Jewelry. I learned something today. Yay!
This so reminds me of Tom Hoovers storied Cream Corn Yellow '74 Duster, with his magical 360, the dropped body, and those flat black 4" sidepipes. The Father of the Street HEMI cruised North Detroit in a small block sleeper.
I would have these two guys rebuild my Chrysler/Dodge muscle car on a farm in a barn/garage any day. Great job guys. Thank you for putting this on RUclips for us that refuse to pay the money for the Motor Trend App that used to be Free.
David Freiberger PURPOUSLY screwed up replacing the shop vac filter. It's what Laurence J. Peter (of "The Peter Principle) called "creative incompetence" -- If you intentionally make a mess of something you don't want to do, someone else will do the job for you. This technique can also be used to avoid being promoted from a job you like into, oh, say, management.
the most epic burnout ever
Great video!!! Cropduster is Boss! Wish I had kept my 71 Duster 340 Super Stocker. It would have made a great street racer! Same 6 pack fiberglass hood too! That was back in 1975. Thanks for the memories guys!🙂
All this cool car stuff and the vacuum had me 😂
And the Chrysler conqueror 105 in the back. Sick. I had one
That year of Duster is one of my all-time favorite cars! Second to the C3 Stingray, of course. ;)
Great burnout at the end! Can't wait to get my Duster back on the road close been a long road
Love that car! Its great to see it get some attention!
Great job!! Love the blackout too
You guys need to go to Netflix
Love that rolling burnout.
I love all of the roadkill spin offs🙌🏼
But dulcich and Freiburger in roadkill garage is my fav...
Especially when they are doing half mile burnouts in the crop duster 😜
SD can lay that paint down too...
Well that was a colossal burnout at the end... reminds me of my $200 72' Dodge Demon I bought from my manager at McD's with no speedo, mufflers, blinkers, horn, seatbelts, etc... got me my 1st ticket but his wife was pretty nice to me...
Looks and runs AWSOME !!!
Another beautiful Mopar!
Great job. It looks excellent.
Duster looks good!!!!!!!👍
