- Finnegan and David Newbern rescue an unbelievably mint '67 Pontiac Firebird. This Crusher Camaro look-alike has been stowed in a barn behind a dragstrip for almost two decades. Now the guys battle old parts, downpours and other issues in order to get this old drag car racing down the track once again.

It’s from September of last year and it’s only part of the episode but it appears that maybe they will be bringing some roadkill back to RUclips!
Don't want to spoil the fun but I think only the left front got off the ground so no wheelie.
Too bad we don't get to see the times of that second run. Finnegan left late but seemed to make up some time along the way.

Too many of these cars found like this are started but never finished projects. With most of the parts there rusting away while the other parts are missing.

What a shame they didn't have a Butler Pontiac 535 in the Firebird. If that Firebird has the original front bumper it's a 400 car from the factory.

Alright Blackie I got two questions for you. The first one how many people do you think that will feed what you just made. The second question after use your knife so I put your find yourself cutting up stuff that might not be suitable to eat how would you sterilize that night in the field so you can use it to cut up your food and maybe to eat with like raw food.

Nope, other way around. Think about volume of a wheel cylinder vs the volume of a typical front brake caliper
@@tubefreek869 You forgot travel: pads are pretty much there at all times, while drum shoes retract after letting off. Also, shoes fucntion by jamming themselves against surface with only a little help - something discs do not do

I watched the episode,car ran hard but clown helping Mike says it's old and wornout but the lack of knowledge statement! Replace the dam valve springs! Any racer knows BIG CAM BIG whip on the springs! Dam car was running faster then high 11s! If that's worn out,Mike you need a better wrench with a brain!

He explained in the full episode on MTOD that it belonged to a guy who ran a drag strip down in Georgia. He ran it until the early 2000’s when he died. His widow parked it in that barn right off the drag strip. There is a whole bunch of cars right around there. You can see part of their searching on Finnegan’s RUclips channel and this car has since blown up this motor, and now has a blown big block Chevy
