    Doing a one step polish and putting on a old school show wax in the spring is the best part of detailing in my opinion.

    So glad you have an unplugged channel to cover a product like this! I like SiO2 as much as the next Joe but I'm thinking there's still a real place for paste waxes in this SiO2 world... (1) A paste wax can make all the difference if you like the warmth and depth of carnauba! (2) If you're a weekend warrior continually using detailers and toppers on your own vehicle then a paste wax won't consume all that much more of your sweet time, and (3) the long shelf life of most paste waxes isn't usually considered when people see the price tag - most of us will get through countless vials and bottles of other products by the time it takes to use up a single tin of wax.

      This is true. My Collinite 476s lasts pretty much longer than I like. I want to try other products too, but the Collinite tin lasts for years 😄

    I’m using Swisswax Crystal Rock and Swisswax Concorso waxes, just for my British cars, an Aston Martin and a Jaguar F-Type R limited edition. I’d recommend mainly the Concorso wax, stunning results, easy to apply, for a less insane amount of money than the other one.

    I think that might have been me! Thanks a ton mate. I have a lot of waxes, but nothing very high end, so want to treat myself.

    In a world of ceramics, sprays, amazing products, sometimes I still prefer a good old paste wax.

    I buy the 30ml Angelwax products to try them out. 30ml will last you forever! Angelwax Dark Angel is my favorite on my black Cayman S.
    I’m testing Scholl Concepts W6 Black Coatwax currently - topped with Nv Lustre for some extra gloss/slickness.

    Swissvax Best of Show is my standard show wax. It’s amazing stuff. I then top it with a couple of layers of GT Sigma.

    It's price point ie if they did more samples (High end manufacturers especially) then you got enough to try as is or differing ways and combinations with other products , then if you love it buy the bigger tub I love waxes but hate the price because just the newer spray stuff is not better but cheaper easier and more durable

    Wax does give a much richer finish than the spray on treatments. One car that goes out occasionally gets waxed whereas the daily is ceramic coated. Horses for courses. 👍

    I use zymol concourse,I love waxing but I also use gyeon q2 for the durability.

    • @viniciusvale42
      @viniciusvale42 2 года назад

      I also have the Zymol Concours, I like it a lot, but its strong point is not durability. In fact, her focus would not be durability, but extreme shine. For durability I use others, I have a collection of waxes....rsss.

    Actually I was hunting for this wax for some time after reading PVD test. I finally got one in a form of a 50g tester. More than enough for me. It sits proud on the shelf accompanied by zymol concours, fireball show wax se, carchem 38. I love this thing. My sample is quite old - it is about 7 yrs old. It is not that easy to spread and you have to have more product that you willing to spread. But it is solid. Smells nice but from the jar. It is barely noticeable around the car. It is natural not just fragranced so ok. But he wipe. Oh man. I say longer you leave it, better it gets. I was leaving this on a panel for two days. Just power of will, let the wax be wiped. Perfection.
    How did this rarity handled the PVD second test so durability?

    I wonder how these compare to butter wet wax or buttery wax or even double speed of hd wax. I got butter wet wax and in my opinion is best looking natural wax I ever used. didn't use these expensive zymol and that thought. when durability not needed hard to beat. also I love these ceramics seems to repel the dust in the summer
