I never heard of Billy Joel until the song, "Only the Good Die Young". Then I heard all of his older songs. I started to listen to rock music in 1972 when I was 12. Before that I listened to Country & Western which my folks listened to. The 70's had some great sounds as well as performers. The Golden Age of Rock? Yeah, I would agree with that.
