I am grateful for you and for sharing your journey with us all. People need to understand that there are many reasons for women to have extra weight in their bodies. It was a very rude thing for someone to say about Lacie, but I love the way y'all used it as away to inspire others. I also struggle with several health issues, and have been struggling with weight gain. The healthier I try to eat the worse it gets. I eat gluten free, and have to watch iron intake due to hemachromatosis. Would like to learn more about the test you did to determine what you are sensitive to and how you are overcoming it. GOD bless you for sharing your lives with us!

It’s nice to see your children helping. My parents had us help clean the yard and do the garden and pets we raised for food. They paid us the same- fishing, swimming. That kind of family time brings back good habits and memories. Your doing great thanks for sharing.

Lacey, I have such a similar story! It takes awhile to even wrap your head around how very differently you need to eat with food allergies and inflammatory health issues as a result. Wow I just started watching your Channel today and thought the video was great and encouraging. I also was blown away by the comment that someone made on Lacy's weight. I am really sorry for that hurtful comment. So glad you took the high road and did not dwell on it and did not become upset by it. I too am in the same boat and having a difficult time losing weight. I know that it has to do a lot with my age right now and the changes that I'm going through oh, but also I believe that I might be allergic to gluten, dairy, and I need to get my thyroid checked as well. So I'm going to be getting blood work done here in the next few weeks and I hope I also find out some things about my liver to see if I need to detox it as well. I have also started with a exercise routine to help me achieve energy, strength, and fitness. We also just started our RUclips channel and I'm sure that maybe down the road I will receive some not so nice comments 😫😫😫😫I wish you a blessed journey to Wellness.

I’m so happy I came across this video of yours. I was always a tiny woman, I had 4 kids, I would bounce right back to my size 3/5 jeans less than a week after giving birth. I felt I could eat anything and everything, I never really had any issues With foods, I just chucked it up to having “good genes”. About 12 years ago I was diagnosed with IBS, acid reflux disease, I get ulcers if I don’t take medicine to keep them at bay. Then a couple years later I started noticing I would get sick anytime I tried to eat, it didn’t matter what it was, it was also like my throat wouldn’t swallow the food, like my body was rejecting it. So then I was put on medication for that, I also was on pain medication for back issues. Then about 4 years ago I started noticing that I was gaining weight, and every time I would go to the Dr (every 3 months) I’d weigh 5 lbs more, 5 lbs more. I couldn’t figure out how this could be, I don’t even put enough food in me to gain all this weight, and the food I do eat is mostly fruits, veggies, some fish. I have been dealing with fatigue, foggy brain, stomach pains and issues after issues, I bloat, if I have dairy I notice I feel terrible afterwards, etc. Listening to you Lacie I didn’t know there’s Dr’s out there that can test you, test for allergies to foods, find out what your body doesn’t like/can’t have. All I’ve ever gotten from my Dr is more pills, and they haven’t fixed any thing, my issues have just gotten worse over time.

This is 100% me! My goodness I have gained almost 35lbs over a year time while eating "healthy".. So stressful! And recently a doctor found a lot of inflammation which led to finding an autoimmune disease.. I know I have a lactose allergy which is extremely difficult to deal with along with having an ulcer I find it very frustrating to figure out foods that I can eat that don't send me running to the bathroom! I also retain so much water! It's crazy! I feel ya girl! So glad I stumbled on your channel!

It’s really easy to judge someone from the outside looking in, especially from behind a computer screen. I’ve struggled with not being able to lose weight the last few years too. I found out that my thyroid is low functioning, not to mention going through menopause. I’ve been eating right and exercising to no avail. I’ve learned through it all to be kind to others and not to judge. Keep up the good work! I’m so glad you figured out the root of the problem!

It’s nice to see your children helping. My parents had us help clean the yard and do the garden and pets we raised for food. They paid us the same- fishing, swimming. That kind of family time brings back good habits and memories. Your doing great thanks for sharing.
Lacey, you're perfect!! & I can relate to gut issues and inflammation caused by allergies/intolerances. I've been working on being able to add in certain foods, but gluten seems to get me every time.

Lacey, I have such a similar story! It takes awhile to even wrap your head around how very differently you need to eat with food allergies and inflammatory health issues as a result. Just keep plugging away at it-good health is a process!

Wow I just started watching your Channel today and thought the video was great and encouraging. I also was blown away by the comment that someone made on Lacy's weight. I am really sorry for that hurtful comment. So glad you took the high road and did not dwell on it and did not become upset by it. I too am in the same boat and having a difficult time losing weight. I know that it has to do a lot with my age right now and the changes that I'm going through oh, but also I believe that I might be allergic to gluten, dairy, and I need to get my thyroid checked as well. So I'm going to be getting blood work done here in the next few weeks and I hope I also find out some things about my liver to see if I need to detox it as well. I have also started with a exercise routine to help me achieve energy, strength, and fitness. We also just started our RUclips channel and I'm sure that maybe down the road I will receive some not so nice comments 😫😫😫😫I wish you a blessed journey to Wellness.

I’m so happy I came across this video of yours. I was always a tiny woman, I had 4 kids, I would bounce right back to my size 3/5 jeans less than a week after giving birth. I felt I could eat anything and everything, I never really had any issues With foods, I just chucked it up to having “good genes”. About 12 years ago I was diagnosed with IBS, acid reflux disease, I get ulcers if I don’t take medicine to keep them at bay. Then a couple years later I started noticing I would get sick anytime I tried to eat, it didn’t matter what it was, it was also like my throat wouldn’t swallow the food, like my body was rejecting it. So then I was put on medication for that, I also was on pain medication for back issues. Then about 4 years ago I started noticing that I was gaining weight, and every time I would go to the Dr (every 3 months) I’d weigh 5 lbs more, 5 lbs more. I couldn’t figure out how this could be, I don’t even put enough food in me to gain all this weight, and the food I do eat is mostly fruits, veggies, some fish. I have been dealing with fatigue, foggy brain, stomach pains and issues after issues, I bloat, if I have dairy I notice I feel terrible afterwards, etc.
Listening to you Lacie I didn’t know there’s Dr’s out there that can test you, test for allergies to foods, find out what your body doesn’t like/can’t have. All I’ve ever gotten from my Dr is more pills, and they haven’t fixed any thing, my issues have just gotten worse over time.

This is 100% me! My goodness I have gained almost 35lbs over a year time while eating "healthy".. So stressful! And recently a doctor found a lot of inflammation which led to finding an autoimmune disease.. I know I have a lactose allergy which is extremely difficult to deal with along with having an ulcer I find it very frustrating to figure out foods that I can eat that don't send me running to the bathroom! I also retain so much water! It's crazy! I feel ya girl! So glad I stumbled on your channel!

It’s really easy to judge someone from the outside looking in, especially from behind a computer screen. I’ve struggled with not being able to lose weight the last few years too. I found out that my thyroid is low functioning, not to mention going through menopause. I’ve been eating right and exercising to no avail. I’ve learned through it all to be kind to others and not to judge. Keep up the good work! I’m so glad you figured out the root of the problem!
