Carlton=I agree! God agrees as well. There are different ethnicities and cultures but only one race. To believe in "races" you would have to believe in evolution. With evolution some "races" would be further behind than others which leads to racism. The belief that others are inferior or behind in evolving. God believes we are all the same as far as the heart is concerned. The ground is level at the foot of the cross! I don't have to like everything about someone's cultural norms and they don't have to like everything about mine. There are things admirable and dis-admirable in all cultures. We can talk about those. But we do have to love.

I've got to say, I have seen tremendous strides. I live in a small southern town. Our church has every color and background. This wouldn't have happened even 20 years ago. I remember being a kid and wondering why. Now, my heart aches with joy when I look around the congregation and see so many people represented. I think to myself, "This is what Heaven will be like." It moves me to happy tears.

Rose Work you said it exactly right “latent, learned racism “. There was a news report a couple weeks ago that two little boys wanted to get the same haircut so that their teacher could not tell them apart. They both got buzz cuts, best of friends. By the looks of them kindergarten or first grade. But they came out of the barber shop smiling to no end holding hands. One was white and one was black. It was the most touching story I had seen on the news in a very long time. Both sets of parents agreed and participated in this, what awesome standup parents that their children can look up too.

I was racist as I grew up where people fought each other and you stuck with ur race, I didn’t know how much it effected me and how I didn’t like anyone that was not white, when I got saved I was changed immediately but I still had old habits that needed work, today I get mad when I see racism in any race and I find myself seeing a group of thugs and the old flesh starts trying to drive a wedge, not all black people are like the black people rioting in the streets of Ferguson nor all white people like those in Mississippi burning , people are people, some good some bad and their skin color doesn’t determine what they are, their heart does and only Jesus can fix a heart no matter what color it is, I thank God He sent His son, a Jew to take my racism, my sin and nail it to an old rugged cross and today I’m just thankful I’m saved, 17 years shooting heroine and hating people and The Blood of Jesus set me free.

And you said it perfectly, it’s not important who’s doing something no matter that “something” is, it’s WHAT they’re doing and how we can all learn from that lesson. Loving everyone as God commands is what we’re supposed to be doing and how I’ve always chosen to live my life. If you’re good to me I’m good to you. If you’re mean...well...if I can’t change your heart then I’ll just move on. No sense allowing negativity into my heart and life. Thank you for sharing this. God Bless you and the family. Absolutely, racism is just plain stupid. Mike, I'm an old woman (74 years old) and my parents taught us to respect everyone (no matter what the skin color) unless that person gave us a reason not to respect him. God teaches that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, and I firmly believe that is the way it should be. We are really NOT different races --- God made one race -- the human race. There are different tribes of man , and I just love people. You and your family are delightful people. So, treating someone with hatred or disrespect because that person's skin or hair or eyes or whatever other human trait that person might have is just wrong. I'm sorry if you have been mistreated or disrespected in any way. It's just wrong.

People simply don’t understand those who aren’t like them. Finding common ground is so important. Yes we are all part of the human race, but representation is very important for those who don’t see themselves within a community. For that reason, I’d like to thank you for being open about your family here on RUclips. You’re one of the only multiracial or multicultural families (at least that I’ve found) in the farming/homestead community here in RUclips. That comes to me! I'm made of people that came from all corners of the globe, at one time or another, just so I can be here today. Nobody should ever point fingers, whisper, gossip etc because we truly are all one people. I'm Norwegian, Portugese, Scottish, Welsh, Pacific Islander, Irish, Milanese and English. And that's not in a percentage order because it doesn't matter. My children have all that...and a bag of chips! Having been raised the way I was (multicultural) then in the US Navy you see people as individuals. We're all here. Nobody's going anywhere. If you weren't taught to love then teach. I do have say I dealt with "Southernism" and I'm only a couple hours from the southern state I was born in. Had to laugh at the lady who screamed for me to, "Go back to the South!" I still have no idea what was going on. Maybe she had a bad day or something. And why fo people automatically think your stupid if you have a southern accent? I like to quote Sir Winston Churchill: 'There's nothing more beautiful than listening to an educated Southern woman.'

Back in the the book of Genesis, the people, who were all one race, were told to not try to reach God. They were rebellious and built the Tower of Babbel. God was angry and changed everyone so that they couldn't understand each other. I believe that change was not only language but their race. The people then separated into the groups that they understood and left the area.
None of these different races were better or worse than any other race...just different. We should appreciate differences not dislike them.

Hi Debbie I don't believe that it was that they were all One race I believe it was because they were all pagans it had nothing to do with racism because back in Genesis there was only one race and it wasn't until after God confuse their language that they went to different parts of the country and repopulated in different parts and at that time either God changed their colors because that's what he did to confuse them along with their languages or God just confuse people who he made of different colors already it doesn't say they were all one color I don't recall reading that they do recall him changing your languages because they were being pagans

For health and wellness they say eat the rainbow right? That means a variety of fruits and veggies in multiple colors. Well if you equate the same theory to health and wellbeing in society that all gradients of the color spectrum of people bring soul and spirit nurturing to the human prospective. So thrilled that your family had an opportunity for such a fun adventure :)

It means we're one race - brown. We all have different levels of melanin, but we come from the same substance: dust/dirt/clay.
The rainbow comes from light refracted through water, and all colors have the same origin. Just like humanity. We are all made in the image and likeness of Elohim/the Godhead.

People are people and just meeting and talking with people from different cultures brings such a different perspective than listening to the media or any other things we find on the internet. Many negative opinions, but not all, of other cultures are based on hearsay and not real life experience. I'm happy you had an awesome experience with your family and exposed them to a culture they were unfamiliar with. We need more people to get to know people are people but they just live differently. BTW, your exercise fitness videos are fantastic!

Amen! I have always believed and have taught my son this... We all breathe the same air. There is not special air of different kinds for different skin tones or for different races or people who believe differently. If ANY one of us gets a cut and it bleeds, the blood is still the same color for everyone. I have always found it to be a joy and something that is truly awesome, to see and get to know how other folks live and how they feel about the things that affect their lives compared to ours. I will leave my comment at this, before I get on my "soap box"....lol. I guess I just wished that our society would take more time to see what is good in one another, than to search for the imperfections. We all have 'em. Love your channel and sure appreciate you, your family, what you are trying to say and all the hard work you do. Brenda. London, Ontario, Canada.
