I was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and from the time I was old enough to remember, I was taught to treat everyone with respect.
I judge a person on the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

  • @karenthompson9350
    @karenthompson9350 6 месяцев назад +50

I am 66 years young. I was raised to be color blind when it came to people. My father always said to judge a person by their actions, not how they look. He also taught us that you always look a person in the eye and to always have a firm hand shake even though I was a girl/woman. Show everyone respect and honesty even if they don’t do the same to you. He also taught us to get away from people who continually shows disrespect and dishonesty to others as they will eventually do the same to you and people will eventually associate you with this person’s actions.

You'll need to train her to the milk machine. Feed her treats while she's near it so she gets used to the sound. Then gradually get her closer and closer to where the sound it makes doesn't matter. That's my suggestion.
Also it sounds like that family has done such a wonderful thing in two years. Sounds like God really blessed them when they helped that other family out. Only the enemy of souls would try to tarnish such a wonderful thing.

As a Southerner and wife of an Asian man ; I don’t think it’s a racism problem. I’m actually really weary of the racism complaint- seems to me the issue is a lack of parenting, lack of education, and lack of compassion for your fellow man. The people that have “racial issues”have issues with everyone and also themselves. The children are the answer. Teach them love and compassion; give them a purpose and a sense of belonging. Teach them to love their country and respect those that fought for it. The kids are our hope for peace.
    Darla

Darla, you are absolutely right; racism has nothing to do with the skin color. It has everything to do with the way a person is raised, and whether they have been taught to love the person, not the skin.
I get so sick of hearing racism!

I loved this video. Hubby and I moved to NE Tennessee 3 years ago. Well, hubby had to stay in Florida for the first year. We live in the tiniest town, 3/4 acre. Our neighbors have become our family. I have a huge garden and chickens. So we share the bounty and my neighbors share their knowledge of fixing stuff. We don’t have Uber or taxis or buses but if we need a ride we can just call a neighbor and we’re good to go. A couple of us are fighting cancer right now so we keep in touch and support one another. Thank God for the community here.

I've lived in the south for 73 years and I don't know anyone that is racist. Sadly some of the older ignorant people have been a little racist but most of them are all gone to their rewards. I'm old but I see people as God's creations and there's worth in every soul. Thank God for Maggie, she must have been a wonderful lady.

Thank you for sharing this, it's great hear about the positivity of the community in The South. As a Brit I've not had a good impression of the south of the US when it comes to race. Many years ago a good friend of mine was posted to the south (Air Force) and had a horrendous time. She was American Asian and her husband was African American. We met on a base in the UK when I served and at the time she was astonished as the lack of prejudice she experienced at the time. Unfortunately in recent years both our countries have had some crazy right wing politics going on. It's so reassuring to know that real people are out there making it work, thank you (And I have her book on my amazon wish list it will be purchased soon!)

I'm not judging you Sophie! I milk sheep every morning just for the cream as well. The yogurt and cheese is nice to but the raw cream is where it's at. Haha. I read that women crave fat more because we have to balance our horomones and it helps our bodies out in so many ways. I also ferment my yogurt long. The health benefits are numerous as I'm sure you know.
    What a beautiful story!

This story is another reason why I long for the Kingdom. Satan loves to divide. God wants us to unite❤

A pure heart can actually see the God of Heaven. This is true repent. ONLY the God of Heaven can baptize a Spirit once again back into Heaven. Spirit is the first body. The skin and bones is the voice to God. This is an unselfish act on the part of the vessel to help the Spirit get once again back to Heaven.
Knowingly or unknowingly, each person speaks the fate of the Spirit the body carries.
KJV is where this directions are found.

What beautiful people you are! The Lord bless you and your families. Your channel came up on my feed for the first time. I grew up on a farm, I only have chickens right now myself, but being more food sufficient is very wise, especially in these times we are living.💚
