    Since you like to clean with vinegar, let me make a suggestion. I place orange peels in a jar with vinegar and clean with the new more powerful vinegar. It also has a great scent.

    • @CristyVW
      @CristyVW 5 лет назад +41

      Yup! Orange peels here too...and/or rosemary sprigs are great too!! And a friend recently told me about soaking pine needles in the vinegar as well... maybe that's where 'pine- sol' originally came from?! 🤔

    Friends of my Dad lived in a yurt just like yours. They added another yurt that they bought used and attached it to the main yurt by a breezeway. Keep your eyes and ears out for another yurt and do the same. They made the extra yurt the bedrooms and another bathroom. I loved visiting them during the summer. We all grew up together and still close all these fifty years (or more, lol). They lived in the high desert in California. We so enjoy your videos. Many Blessings and Love from Texas.

    Good morning, something to truly think about. Like the joy of slamming the phone down after a rant on the phone, can't do that with the cell phones. So slamming the door as you lock yourself up in your "own space" doesn't work in a yurt too. LOL! Truly something to truly think about. Having the right partner is the key to surviving that living situation. It's great that you two found the right person! :) Have a great day.

If you have not gone through that experience, you could never really know that horror. I am an American, my wife is a Filipina. Great video Mike, Lacie and family! Love your honesty and well, I just love your whole family. Cutest babies ever 🥰. I think you should re-title this video to, “Our problems and Solutions to living in a Yurt!” You’re upfront and honest, but also finding solutions for your issues. Mike, you’re a lucky man, Lacie is so beautiful and smart. Keep up the videos. My babies are grown, and we didn’t homeschool, but if I had one do-over, it would be to homeschool them. There’s no way I would send my kids to public school in this day and age. One of my daughters is a kindergarten teacher, it’s so scary and it breaks our hearts that she has to do “shooter safety drills.” 😢. Seeing how you do homeschool would be fantastic.

    I don't live in a yurt, but we moved from 2,000 sq ft with a garage and barn, to 858 sq ft. Everything is in a 10x30 storage unit.

    Gr8 video. One tiny house family has a rule that for every 1 item brought into the house - 2 items have to go out. Keeps them with just what they need.
