I've seen quite a few. Some are more than one connected. Some have the restrooms and shower in a smaller one connected. But the above design is how I've seen most of them. I just like how the Fit Farmer has his/theirs

Mike, you really need to get a cover over your doors to protect them. Maybe a little relaxin space outside for you two.
I like the silvered door look. It matches the siding with that look. Besides, they get more light without a awning or something over the door.

In Trinidad the people who live in the country districts still use them for making bread and sometimes to cook meals which has a different taste to what's cooked on the stove tops.

Beautiful yurt. Rosa is an amazing woman. Can you make a loft bedroom for the kids in your yurt?
This is yurt is stunning & proves what can be done to live comfortably in such a small space.
We have a Mitsubishi system. In PA, our heating and cooling is much more efficient especially with our 36 solar panels. She is absolutely right for energy/money savings. Hollar’s homestead has experience with installation. Maybe they could advise you.
The loft is incredible. You could fit more people in your Yurt than I can in my condo!!! Kudos to Rosa and William!! It is nice to see so many choices to live other than a condo!!!
