    295/18 front
    315/18 rear
    Stock C8 Stingray
Both 2:31 laps fastest laps of day
orange Dallas Reed on Yokohama A052
blue Michael Young on Vitour Tempesta P1
Dallas best P1 time for the day was a 2:32 but Mikes was a few tenths faster
    Making it concise,
    295/18 front 315/18 rear p1 vs a052.
Generally results are the hot laps are within the noise of each other.
Weather was 50s and sun out.
Myself and Mike Young ran the P1 for two sessions in the morning. A052 for a couple more after. Best lap times within a second at ~2:30 laptime. More flying laps on the P1s. I felt I could get certainly 2 flyers. Some data indicated most of 3, other most of two. Fall off was ~2 seconds when they overheat. I didn't get the chance to run many clean flyers back to back with the a052 to compare fall off myself but as the other driver put it "definitely the fall of is not as bad as the yok, the yoks fall off significantly" The a052 behaviour is well known in any case.
My fastest lap was on the a052 but mostly due to better driving/better conditions. My first lap/session with the a052 was slower than my best P1 time but within a second. Later A052 lap/session was faster but within a second.
Generally the grip level felt similar. The P1s definitely communicate better. A lot of noise when they're giving it all they've got.
I still need to A B test at my home tracks where I am super consistent but I definitely felt it comes down to driver. Except having more flyers/flying lap time is a real advantage.
This was Mike and I's first time at Road America so we are not the most consistent here but I think this was still productive.
Later in the season I will test at my home tracks where I have track records and can crank out laps back to back within tenths.
