I enjoy Chad’s videos, they explain what and why they are doing. They are always in a great mood and the shop isn’t as hectic as other shops are.
It's a great thing putting wood slats back in the bed. So many guys just wimp out and sheet it . Thank you, Chad, for giving me faith in the fellow man.
I will likely have to sheet it for a bit. When I do the wood floor I'll be fixing/replacing the bedsides and painting it, but I want to drive it for awhile before I have to tear it down again
I'm old and really do appreciate the classic trucks being brought back to life. Great to see them on the road! That said I've never been into loud exhaust or burnouts. Don't care for the noise and I want the rubber on my tires not on my driveway.

Gonzo continues to get better. A lot of messing around to get the rear disks right, but worth it in the end.

When I do the bed floor I'll also be replacing the bedsides (these are pretty beat up) and they need to be painted and... So I got come old street signs from Paul just a few weeks ago, I'll be making a temporary bed floor with those so I can continue to drive Gonzo. I love driving it and don't want it down again where I just got to get back to being in it again.

I knew a guy that had a brake line fail. He replaced the bad section with a 3/8 compression braided stainless steel water line. It held for 6 months before he got around to replacing it
Like the sleeper mode for less noise still have a little rumble until you put the pedal to the metal and it comes alive.

A really neat way to drive a tap is a nut, a 5/16 tap square will press into a 5/16" nut then a socket can drive the tap instead of a drill chuck to my knowledge almost all the tap square drives will fit the nut in that manner. I use a vice to force the square into the nut. Try it you will find it helpfull. I runan 11:1 Cleveland with 3" straight through muffler and resenator with no X pipe I also am a grandpa and am adding one more stage of hush to my truck to quiet it up a bit more. I don't like turned down pipes because they raise dust at car shows.
Gonzo is a nice looking pickup. I like the proportions of it.

I sure miss Utah I lived there for almost 10 years starting in the late eighties. These are just some of the fine people you will find living there..
It was cool seeing y'all at Paul's working on the overlander. I suggested just using a regular tent instead of attaching one to the rig. It might save you some time and I've seen plenty of overlanders use them. Gonzo sounds good just the way it is but I'm not standing there next to you.

Hub-centric is the better way to go for sure. The worst thing about cheap aftermarket wheels is when they just make the pilot oversize by a mile and don't supply any sizing rings. Then they only last a few years before the stud holes are hogged out and they won't run true anymore. Best to take the time to fit it properly like the OEM did it.

Chad back in the day I had a 1969 Camaro with all the normal goodies in a built 327 the exhaust I used 2 1/2 inch pipe and a pair of truck mufflers and it sounded BAD ASS

THANK YOU! Finally someone that cares about wearing eye protection. I speak from experience as when I was young I used to cut aluminum on a chop saw and wasn't wearing mine. Got a sliver and it slipped to the back of my eye. I didn't know what it was until I finally saw the eye doctor and got it removed. And that was after 3 days of my eye tearing badly.

i'm an old steel cutter and i learned the safety glasses rule the hard way - by a doctor scraping metal slivers off my eyeball with a scalpel
trust me and your mother - get in the habit of flipping the glasses down when the chips ( and grinding dust ) flies
Around 9:25 talking about wheel weights; just leave the wheel weights on the opposite side of the wheel from the caliper. 🤪

Leave the exhaust the way it is. I love the sound. But I am from the muscle car era. My older brother had the first GTO in our town. A 1964 and a half. He went to Detroit and got it! That was when they built cars. I am 80 now and still love the sound of those cars! Stacie keep bugging the guys about safety glasses as you only get one set of eyes!

I like old time exhaust on my cars but hate it on my neighbors car that leaves at 5 AM for work every day.LOL

I recommend water injection and bump up boost controller to 9 to 15 pounds? Suggest large capacity resoviour windshield wipers tank. Electronic boost sensor switch implanted in intake manifold. You can inject water into turbo intake?
Water mixed with alcohol will resist freezing.
I much prefer the step-side short bed to the fleet side...it looks truncated. Just a personal aesthetic.

When using your angular cutter on your rotors I would highly recommend Anchor Lube…. I don’t know if it was made to machine Anchors but the more rotten the material is the better the cutters seem to cut
