@@sambrown6426 feel free. I'm a nice person and I just enjoy my life being a mechanic. I was a ricer when I was 10 years old playing nsfu2, when I got my license, I started doing so called ricer things, now I kept the name because it helped me get into the automotive industry. I don't do so called rice mods now but I will forever be grateful for the opportunity that got me into cars which help keep me on the good path when your family are alcohol drug users
@@sambrown6426 although not 2 ricers are the same so be careful out there. Not to mention some of the best years of my life was going into halfords on a Saturday evening with my step son, giving him some money and letting him pick the so called cheap tacky mods and is installing them the next day whilst bonding and having a laugh. Something my father never did with me, in fact my dad taught me how to be a drunken idiot who hits women.
Then we would dress up in random outfits from the charity store and go driving trying to make people smile with our silly mods.
Was a beautiful time in my life. Now I'm getting old and I wouldn't change it for anything
@@adamstilldrives I've never really modded a car, since I still don't have my own and I've only played Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2, and there's really not too much in the way of cosmetic mods besides liveries. I am going to be taking stick shift lessons soon though.

ive been watching since 2017 and seeing your rally stream with the headband took me back to when i started racing myself. its insane how far youve gotten and what your giving back to the community keep inspiring !
Its been said multiple times but you always felt like a normal dude i could imagine being mates with and its so great seeing how your life has progressed, fully deserved and it just goes to show that hard work and perseverance pays off. Closing in on the one milly too, we love you dude keep on keeping on.

I remember watching your very first i racing series on you tube. I’ve watched you every since. You did mod me for one of your very first 24h races. May have been Daytona 24. It’s very refreshing to see someone enjoying what they are passionate about. I still catch your streams very often. But more of a lurker now haha. But you will always have my support

Great to see your room Jimmy, especially your cable management, makes me proud of my equally 'tidy' spaghetti wires. I'm a single monitor guy too, thought about ultrawide and triple, but, there's nothing wrong with how it currently is, so why change.

Awesome to see the improvement compared to your shed video, but I do feel like we need to start planning a wheel rim intervention. FYI, Jem is about to start a season in the McLaren 570s trophy driving a 570s, which is a GT4 car. It starts in like two weeks from writing this :)

Ps-I love watching VR races, the head movement actually makes me feel more immersed so, if that’s the friction, I’d say it was a feature, not a bug 😁. For what it’s worth, if you’re keen to revisit them sweaty goggles : I’d watch.

Great video, the progression is insane from shed to shlife for real. side note sorry i had to (its Mansel in the Honda before the fw14b or better known now as red 5) still cool as f... think it's a 88 honda the fw14b 1991 was built in Didcot where i grew up, Mansel and shumi my all-time faves, big lando fan now i also quiet like this sim/real racer/ dude JBB

Let me suggest one thing for you to display/store the wheels, get those Ikea kallax put them wherever you think it would stay better and it'll transform everything and you'll think "why didn't I got this sooner!"

I do laugh how when Jimmy reacts to other peoples setups he usually comments on how bad their cable management is, but then you look at his :P My half rig has good cable management, however that is where it ends, the desks cable management is a nightmare.
1 monitor is underrated, I used to use two but after one broke I just stuck to the one left and it's been fine most of the time. Not moving the head around so much is really nice tbh.
You can go for wide or ultra wide monitor

I am old school Winston Cup NASCAR type. Back in the day they would race open face helmet. No fire suit or gloves with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. I do the same thing for the sake of immersion so part of my mess is cig ashes dropped all over the place and few burn holes in the seat and whatever shirt I am wareing.

I never drove on a triple screen, thought it had to be superior for anyone. But now I dont feel too bad about my single screen setup anymore, still interesting choice, since it is already set up in your room

Did you miss who supplied the actual Sim Rig? I really dig that Niels Heusinkveld gave you that terrific base setup. That along with the 1000 hp shifter cart & the racing Shed. (Replete w/ porn mags on the table.)
Its like Jimmy has missed the shed so much he's tried to recreate it by having as little space as possible in his sim room. Love this kind of video, full of new stuff but at the same time bringing back fond memories of the past.

Usually in the uk the driver is on the right, and I notice on your setup you have the h shifter and the handbrake on your right which makes it left hand drive. Is there a reason why you have them on the right rather than the left? And on which side you'd prefer to drive?

Jimmy, I also have the FSR wheel and am experiencing lag with the telemetry. Have you experienced it as well and if so, were you able to fix it? It appears to be a common problem but I have not found any fixes for it.
