      Absolutely true. Govt hospital me to sunte hi nahi, private me bhi ignore karte hai. Bas kuchh unfortunate ho jaye to admit ho ke lakhi kharch karo

    Doctors consultation fee is rising and rising...but they hardly listen to the patient. They make the diagnosis in less than a minute and write some tests ... 😢

    My many elderly relatives have been patients of hypertension and take meds but never been advised by doctors to get lipid profile test (even though obvious pot belly) or cardiac risk factors tests. Few took such tests and seeing lipid profile contacted doctors and later detected blockages. Ab kya kahiyega doc sahab?

    I respect you a lot. But master health check up is very useful for us patients where we can get a overall knowledge about our body. If doctors don't have time to check such master reports, then the doctor is only to blame.

    Main problem Doctors me hai. Jadatar doctors thik se guide nehi karte. Kisi lab se phone karke blood ke master check up karwane ke bad patient ko kamsekam itnato malum hojata kon kon test ka result sshi nehi hai. Doctor ko batato sakta hai ki yeah report normal kiun nehi hai. Kya muje koi bimari hai. For example creatine value jada aata hai to kidney ka further tests kiya ja sakta hai.

    @1.58 - yes , the adolescents must be tested regularly- thats where it all starts- please do not laugh it off- thats when the Insulin level should be tested ...the mother of all diseases
    @11.59 - all crap- Its hard to find one good doctor in India to listen to the patient's complaint and history- most doctors are qualified in just one stream and are not educated enough to establish the links and explain the functional part of it. (the cardiac does not know the endocrine and the ophthalmologist does not know the cardiac and the GP thinks its a thing to be handled by Specialist.
    IMHO - these tests are one of the most RELIABLE method to eliminate dependency on human doctors and move to AI based tools /Google - Read yourself he medical textbooks, read the lectures of Mount Sinai Hospital...and a host of them...Interpret yourself these results - and thats why we were all taught biology, physics and chemistry at high school - there is nothing that a high school science cannot help you understand and interpret the basics of your health.

      It's about the number of tests we will have to do to detect one real patient!!! In teenagers the ratio will be less than 1 in 10000

    Tests for hidden burden were not done in my case too, I had tests normal but still I had to undergo CABG in November 2023.

  • @bijucvcv268
    @bijucvcv268 7 месяцев назад +1

    Sir, I have different view. Meeting a doctor and telling them to refer for testing is beneficial for those who don't know about possible testing available in healthcare. Without checking medical data, a doctor can't say what is suitable or not. Example without checking lipid profile, a doctor can't say you are free from cholesterol even though you are slim and dont have genetic history. Possible test for screening should be lipid profile, liver, kidney, sugar, bp, other vitamin deficiency, heart screening, psa and some cancer screening according to any risk profile.

    • @cardiacsecondopinion2880
      @cardiacsecondopinion2880  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah, that's also a good point of view, but there risk scoring is as important as the tests

    Preventive Health check up is not bad , commercialization is bad.
    Package must include pre test & post test counseling by physician to know its benefits, limitations and risk stratification.

    Sir one question heart valve disease causes kya hai …..rhemeutic and endocarditis its separte ….but other than that what’s exact causes ….if someone has high heart rate like 120-130 whole day kya usse valvular disease hone ke chances hai !!!! Ya high heart rate doesn’t affect valves of heart!!!
