Thank you Ranveer for inviting me and talking in depth about this important topic of Diabetes. Many of us are at risk of Prediabetes and Diabetes and by making lifestyle changes, keeping our weight in check, watching what we eat and being active, we can prevent this disease and it’s associated complications. Hope many of our audience will watch this and benefit from this.

The idea of podcast is ruined here. It seems more like the host is showing off his newly attained knowledge in front of the expert!! Instead of using his knowledge to ask the right questions to get the expert answer, he is taking more space here!
The guest is so humble that he acknowledged Ranveer's knowledge 😅

Dear Ranveer, I really appreciate all your efforts to educate people about lifestyle changes. Small feed back is when you ask about the pathogenesis or biology of something, please let the specialist speak as there are some things that can be misinterpreted by common people so better the doctor explains it else people gets confused. I am practicing doctor from Uk having experience in Diabetes and general medicine. I would like to clear you something about action of insulin! Insulin doesn't convert your carbs to glucose or sugar. It is released when glucose or sugar levels are high in your blood to trigger other mechanisms to decrease the sugar level to your normal range so that a constant level is maintained. It facilitates glucose to be used by muscles or if not used by muscles and converted to energy, it is converted to fat and stored.
Also high glucose levels in blood is very corrosive to your teeny tiny blood vessels in your eyes, nerve endings, kidneys, heart leading to complications such as vision loss, kidney problems, heart problems. That's why all diabetics need to get their eyes, kidneys and foot checked for their function and sensations . Also it causes blocking of your blood vessels in legs and heart , sometimes stomach leading to loss of blood support to those organs.

I found this doctor very warm and soft spoken unlike many senior practitioners who are outspoken to the point of sou ding rude and uusympathetic.. And Ramveer asked the right and politely worded questions as he had done his hw well before getting into this podcast.. He also shares his own personal experiences for the benefit of audiences who are unversed... he talked about his cholecyystectomy at age 16.! I was operatef at age 33 ! And it came as a shock... though well educated I would eat rice rice rice and wheat wheat ( all carbs) in the form of dosa idli upma poha samnar dal.. Nasn.. Hotel sabzis to my heart's content!!! Pd s price... Diabetrs drtrctef at age 40...BP age 40 ! Now on insulin but DISCIPLINE came very late... now careful with diet and cannot skip walking.. At least 1.5 hrs a day.. this is basically to share my mistakes with ppl who don't take diet and exercise seriously.

Physical struggles of a person with diabetes. Ask him what kind of struggles they go through or limits and limitations. Ask him how they can lower their diabetes without medication or keep it under control on a daily basis and after consuming food? Ask him what should a diabetes eat on a daily basis? She is 3 level taekwondo 🥋 black belt, she runs cross country 3-4 km , very athletic , very good in studies , much better in over all then lots of healthy kids . So parents just have to keep a positive mind set which will keep ur child to have a better approach to the life .

Ranveer please please do a small podcast on TYPE 1 diabetes in detail. We type 1 diabetic people have a CGM attached to our body all the time . Some of us have even insulin pumps attached to our bodies 24x7 . It is essential for our survival . This year CBSE had stopped a student from appearing in board exams because the student had a insulin pump n CGM ....and after a lot of fighting.... finally the child got permission to appear for the board exam . People dont understand how difficult it is to have TYPE 1 diabetes ....which is totally out of our control and is not a lifestyle disease . And the financial burden of people and children with type 1 diabetes is so high . For managing a pump ...we need min 15k to 20 k per month .... If u have only a cgm ...then its min 10 k per month .....this plus insulin charges like 3k to 6 k . A lot of children with type 1 diabetes get neglected by their family due to their financial burden .
Ranveer please do a podcast on this ..... because India has to know and someone like you with a lot of access to our population can bring about a change . If government gives insurance on pump cgm and insulin like other countries...it would be a great help . So please help . Please 🙏🏼🥺

Bhai ye video ka topic padh kar hi video dekhne ka mann ni krra. Sugar ko chhodne ko kehre matlab apne tyohar par mithai bhi na khaen? Mujh jaise exercise krne wale insan ke saamne aisi video ayegi to dukh to hoga hi. Mene kisi doctor se ye baat suni h, unn doctors se dur raho jo apka khana Churwane ki baaten kren. Ap apna khana khao, lekin exercise bhi kro, diabetes hogi hi nahi. Bina soche samjhe roz mithai khane wale logon ko bola h ki exercise kro, apni diet(khaan paan) par dhyana do, bina soche kuch bhi utha kar muh me thoosna choro, aur khane se pehle dimag lagao, jo kha rhe ho, wo carbohydrates h, ya protein, ya vitains,ya minerals, kis cheez me fayda milega uss cheez ko khane se. Kabhi kabhi sugar khana bhi acha hota. Bhagwan ne sugar banai h to kisi matlab se banai hogi na, sugar ke naam par zeher to nhi de dia hame. Sugar bhi diet ka part hoti h, but it depedns when to eat that sugar. Exam se pehle Dahi-shakkar kyun khani chahiye? Isspar video dekho. Tyohar pe mithai kyun banate hain? Kya hame bahar ki highly processed mithai khani chahiye ya ghar ki desi mithai? @@deepakwadhwa7026
