So Supergirl was killed because the movie mentioned that the Crystal metal was on the Kryptonian ships and it is what the ships are made of. It's the shards that are stabbing into Berry 2 and it is what Dark Flash's suit is made of. That is why the blade is able to pierce Supergirl's skin it is made of this material. Kryptonians can be hurt by alien technology like the World engine from Man of Steel or the Motherboxes. The machine they used to extract the codex can kill her because if the codex is extracted from her she dies.
It’s more a case of, is it done well within the story that’s being told??? Not wether it’s a “bad” thing in general The Spiderverse movies are an example of appropriately utilizing fan service. The Star Wars sequel trilogy is an example of it being done poorly. We got the characters that everyone loves. But, we also got little to no character progression with the new characters we were supposed to follow through this new saga. It’s seen as a “negative” because it’s now associated with bad movies and other media due to what’s been pushed out. It feels like they put in fan service at the detriment of the story they’re trying to tell. The studios KNOW that certain things are going to bring in more revenue. And more times than not, they interfere with the direction of already written stories. A lot of that is adding in more fan service so they can say that so and so is in this movie for a cameo.
I just watched The Flash yesterday on MAX and I really enjoyed it. Kinda bummed that Batgirl has been shelved. Clooney's cameo is great especially when made it clear to Howard Stern decades ago that would be his only appearance as Batman, but I always thought Clooney was a good Bruce Wayne. Anyway great episode!
I liked the part when the flash choked that woman in Iceland lolz 🤣 and the then when he threw that chair at that lady in Hawaii was so genius, also braking into some random guys house to steal liquor was very funny 😂 guess he was thirsty?

I know you weren’t sure, but the movie with Nicolas Cage was “Superman Lives” and that was, indeed, written by Kevin Smith. On top of that, Superman fighting the giant spider was in that very script 😆
44:31 I found that exact tape of the Nightmare Before Christmas at my goodwill still sealed, I opened it because I’m nostalgic for VHS viewings and there was an offer for a Jack Skellington mug from A&W and Duracell batteries. 1:13:00 also there’s a heated debate over whether or not Wonder Woman should have a skirt or pants and honestly it’s kind of a moot point, yes on one hand it’s a little sexist to have a powerful Amazonian warrior wearing a metal tube top and a mini skirt, but I’ve seen a video from years ago where they asked several woman at Comic-Con if she should have a skirt or pants and they all agreed that she shouldn’t wear trousers, so I think Super Girl wearing pants is the same, plus the actress playing her in the CW show was freezing on set so of course they gave her pants. 1:31:21 also, Nick Cage finally did get to play Super Man in Teen Titans Go to the Movies, so I’m satisfied with that! If you get the joke it’s pretty funny!😂
Sweet Crystal said there was nobody in the theater to “that was the whole time I heard the entire audience laughed” so I can’t help but picture just one guy on the other side of the empty theater break out laughing wildly at that one moment but sat in silence the whole movie.
What Crystal said is spot on, at the theater I saw it the manager actually gave a disclaimer saying this movie is loud and they can not adjust the audio it’s just how the copy they were provided is and they had no control over it and that turning it down would make the dialogue too low.

In The Flash movie is a different timeline. Is Keaton instead of Affleck. Is not Earth 89. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tobey and Andrew are the same versions from those previous movies. Those happened on other universes. I think is a similar version. But not the same. Same with George Clooney.
As messy as it was, Micheal Keaton was still as great as Batman as well as Ben Affleck. The new Supergirl was cool, the effects were at least ambitious, and Ezra Miller was fine as Flash.
The only good parts with Affleck in the whole movie were where he was talking to Barry about time travel and that immediate opening shot where he's first talking to Barry over comms and he sounds so cool. The rest was butt. He smiles which Batman only rarely ever does. To the point where it makes people uneasy when he DOES smile. The suit was horrible. From the cape to the dumb hex armor on his chest. To the shiny emblem to his nose.

That time-travel explanation introduces a plothole into the Snyderverse though. The Flash technically already went back in time in Zack Snyder’s Justice League (which also ruins the scene in The Flash when he realizes that he can go back in time, cuz he should already know he can do that) because he reversed time when Steppenwolf killed everyone else. Sure, it was only seconds into past that he went back, but he did go back, and he changed the “past” in a massive way. If going back 10 years and changing something relatively small can cause massive changes more than 30 years in the past, then changing something already massive only seconds in the past would still cause changes that reached years into the past. Even if Zack Snyder’s Justice League wasn’t canon to this universe, The Flash had already used time-travel to manipulate the past in Batman v Superman when Flash talked to Bruce through that… time portal. Obviously, this point is debatable because the Snyderverse is now basically cancelled and we’ll never get the movie that this scene was created to lead up to. Either way though, with that whole pasta explanation, then we also know that Bruce would have used The Flash’s advice and gotten Lois to prevent that apocalypse future, which by their own explanation, would have caused ripples of changes further in the past already. I get that DC wanted to be cute and take a dig at the MCU’s version of time-travel, but DC look like idiots for introducing a big ol’ plothole into their movies at the same time.
I've heard that he was actually one of the best parts of the movie along with sasha calle as supergirl. It's the terrible use of VFX/ rubbery CGI for the cameos at the end that's getting trashed.
Did you even see Birdman? It was a loving homage to the FACT that playing a superhero legitimizes you as an artist. It makes that movie mean so much more now that Mr. Keaton has finally donned the cape and cowl once again.

That time-travel explanation introduces a plothole into the Snyderverse though. The Flash technically already went back in time in Zack Snyder’s Justice League (which also ruins the scene in The Flash when he realizes that he can go back in time, cuz he should already know he can do that) because he reversed time when Steppenwolf killed everyone else. Sure, it was only seconds into past that he went back, but he did go back, and he changed the “past” in a massive way. If going back 10 years and changing something relatively small can cause massive changes more than 30 years in the past, then changing something already massive only seconds in the past would still cause changes that reached years into the past.
Even if Zack Snyder’s Justice League wasn’t canon to this universe, The Flash had already used time-travel to manipulate the past in Batman v Superman when Flash talked to Bruce through that… time portal. Obviously, this point is debatable because the Snyderverse is now basically cancelled and we’ll never get the movie that this scene was created to lead up to. Either way though, with that whole pasta explanation, then we also know that Bruce would have used The Flash’s advice and gotten Lois to prevent that apocalypse future, which by their own explanation, would have caused ripples of changes further in the past already.
I get that DC wanted to be cute and take a dig at the MCU’s version of time-travel, but DC look like idiots for introducing a big ol’ plothole into their movies at the same time.

I've heard that he was actually one of the best parts of the movie along with sasha calle as supergirl. It's the terrible use of VFX/ rubbery CGI for the cameos at the end that's getting trashed.
Did you even see Birdman? It was a loving homage to the FACT that playing a superhero legitimizes you as an artist. It makes that movie mean so much more now that Mr. Keaton has finally donned the cape and cowl once again.
