[ BATMAN RETURNS edit here!!: ruclips.net/video/ti90x-mAZfE/видео.html ] Thanks again for all the support and compliments for my edits & additions, honestly means a lot to know that people appreciate my efforts and editing style, so cheers! This video was previously available for a few hours last week before being removed due to technical issues, so hopefully this upload can pick up a similar momentum to find that same audience who may have missed it last time.

The Adam West batman is amazing, it's mostly a comedy, Adam West is an absurdly good deadpan comic. There's a handful of times when he's dealing with the police commissioner and he's just learned of something the riddler is doing and he'll do a super dramatic pause imagining the implications and you can feel the weight of the scene hitting people as this man dressed up as a cat is being so absurdly serious. There's a lot of general positive lessons and stuff too but overall it's very entertaining.

Arnie's star was NOT fading when this movie was made. For this movie he got $25 million for 25 days work, plus a percentage of the gross, which I believe made him the highest paid actor in the world at the time. In hindsight, yes, his glory days were over, but at the time we didn't know that. In the meantime ... no ... George Clooney wasn't that big at that stage - he was still on the way to the top - but it's interesting to see how people, looking back now, might not understand why Arnie was above Clooney in the billing.

honestly, i went from hating the movie on release, to loving it now. don't get me wrong, it's corny AF, but it's a great 90's time capsule and modern version of the 60's show.
on top of it, joel shumacker never insulted anyone for not liking the movie, on the contrary went out of his way to apologize for, at the end of the day making art, something an artist should never be forced to do.
but also, everyone involved is fully aware how crappy it is, and nobody is taking it seriously. it give the movie some meta/self aware quality to it.
clooney isn't even trying, arnie is having the time of his life chewing every scene he's in with the shittiest dialog ever written, robin is contemplating the end of his career, uma thurman probably coked out of her mind, batgirl couldn't act to save her life, ... and all that with block buster budget. glorious, just ... glorious.
at one point, i'm sorry but you just have to take a big step back, realise the pharaonic sized pile of shit they managed to make, and at the very least pay it some respect.

My favourite Rish Evans laugh has to be when he laughs at Bane's disguise

That laugh at Bill Finger probably cursed Mike so eventually Captain Kirk would hate him.

I love that the highlights are only a half hour shorter than the full movie. IT'S ALL GOLD, JERRY, GOLD!

These are very well made. You’ve nailed the essence of the rlm reviews/commentaries

At 17 years old when this came out, I was more emotionally invested in Alfred than anything else in this film because he and Pat Hingle were the only elements that made this a series of films at this point. Not even the bat suit could stay the same and I had no desire to see it change from the first one.

"The premise of Green Lantern is that he's a Space Cop." Sounds like a terrible idea.

Rich Evans uncontrollable laugh, makes every scene he does it in. It makes me laugh every time he does
The sound effect at 56:31 of bane getting hit in the head legit made me lol
