Great Video. Newbie here on mower engine swapping. How do you determine engine compatibility for these? I've got an older Gravely 44Z.

My main concern was the engine wiring harness compatibility and shaft size for the original pulleys but mostly because I was trying to use only parts on hand for that project as I recall. It's been a long time since I made this video but the mower is still going strong

    Looking for advice.
I have an old gravely zt40 with a Kohler courage 17 and I want to install my grandmother's really old low hour
20hp Briggs and Stratton from her riding mower. Is this compatible?

Be my luck swapping 2 different engines They wouldn't fit nor holes would line up pulleys ect ect ect wouldn't work! but i got enough skills to make any thing work. So i got a 260 Z with a 25 hp kawasucky engine. with blown rings, *^$*(@ I going to replace with a brand new 27 hp Briggs and Stratton engine!

I've got 2 Kawasaki motors on 2 gravelys. One has 2512 hrs. The other has 1174 hrs on it. Still going strong. The trick is to get a professional air filter box. Not the one that comes with it. But the pro model. I've been in the lawn business for 28 years. And the filtration system on the home use gravelys suck. But you can get a upgrade filter kit for$209.00 it's exspensive but will keep that motor going for thousands of hours.
