I'm just struggling to get the motor to start or do anything? How would I find how to wire it up to a 2006 toro? Everything fit. Idk how to track down the wiring stuff
I've got 3 Kawasaki motors with the compression relief laying in the bottom of the sump. I was wondering if these have the same issues with the compression relief as Kawasaki and Intek ?
I just picked up this one and plan on putting it on my xmark walk behind. My problem is I have to do quite a bit of modification because the current engine does not have an electrical system so I have to find a place for the battery and figure out all the wires.
In your opinion how much power are you getting from this engine compared to the old one? Like can you run trough deep grass with out it bogging down and what was in there before ? I bought one of these engines for a project but now plans have changed . I have 2018 kubota121s with a Kohler Confidant. It bogs down . I'm think maybe I should swap engines and sell the Kohler. What do you think ?
@@dansmith7147 man. Ive got a real nice mower. I have a kholer courage engine i was gonna put on it. But i would have to splice a bunch of wires and I don't want to screw something up. It's a 6k mower. I bought a preditor go kart engine for my boys and they have ragged that thing out for 2 yrs and it's still going. Man I'm really considering dropping the cash on that engine.if i knew for certain it would plug right in
great video brother dan, did it come with a muffler or did you use the old one? i usually put a 7000 series kohler as a cheap replacement but havent had any experience with the predator.

I put the predator engine on my turf tiger and works .had to modify the the plate

Cool mine has a kohler 25 hp so curious how the 22 would work for seems mine has dropped a valve possibly

Goodluck! I really think Harbor Freight should offer a 14hp vertical shaft engine. Those would be perfect for walk behinds.

I think your getting at least 20hp but it does not bog down at all.
So i have a gravely with a kawasaki fr615v.i wander if it's a plug and play as far as the wires go on it. What kaw engine did you have

I used the one that came with the new motor.

bummed they dont offer the vertical shaft motor any more, just the horizontal shaft.... maybe it will come back soon???
I believe the one they offer now can be mounted either way. But check with the store.
What are your experiences like with that bagger kit? I have the liberty 61with the kohler 26hp.
They are not the greatest when wet without the impeller. It's ok but pretty expensive to just be ok.
Question? Has anyone had there predator 708cc turn off while raining ? I used it in the rain and it stals idk why ?

I'm going to do this swap on an Exmark Fazer. The zero turn salvage rip off merchant wants $900-$1000 for a takeout. Ain't happenin Cap'n.
