The card I used to open the account is not working, and there is no working customer service number anywhere on the web. Just sad stories of people unable to access their account. Took my passport and it's self picture. The process failed, for some unknown reason. It is my passport and my picture. The next day I was locked out of my account and it will only let me put a Chinese bank card for verification. My US bank card, which I used to originally register, does not work. When you log in it asks for SMS verification. After I verify, it takes me to an ID verification screen where the only option is a bank card.

You should call Alipay in this case, and see if they can delete your account.

I think it is a big issue if the ID linked to the account is still yours. It’s essentially identity theft, and should be dealt with asap.
