I have a 22 CT5-V, Amazing car Love it. Have people coming up to often asking about or complimenting me. Mine is Summit w/20" Black Gloss wheels. Dream come true 😍
ct4v blackwing have a v6 twin turbo too, but it’s 495hp or something like that. 3.6L tho. This ct5v ONLY, not balckwing has a 3.0l twin turbo. I wish I had one too!!
Holden should have been saved if they got a CT5-V and sell it to Australia as a Commodore rather than Opel insignia from Germany that is giving it a front-wheel-drive mid-size sedan making no one had ever to buy that car ever again!
@@Kadorja It's not the 70's, kid. The oil crisis and malaise era ended along time ago. You can get over 100hp per liter now. And the engine can last a million miles. This small engine will be trash after 300k.

@@Kadorja Then the GM motor was not built well. BMW from the same time period (2000) had a 5-liter V8 making 400hp from a NA engine. So it's a smaller displacement with more power. And that was a quarter-century ago. The Audi RS4 was making 414hp from a 4.2 liter NA V8 in 2007.
@@Мирич-з4еthat’s great but neither of those examples are big blocks. So we moved on from a big block to smaller displacement engines making more power and similar torque… which was my point?

That bad boy is the sweet spot.
I wish I could drive such a cool car.
He he, me too Richard!
Yessss
Any exhaust mods or is this stock?
No mods at all. It’s a stock exhaust system which has sound control valves in the mufflers.
is this a blackwing v or a regular v
It's a regular V.

sounds like a fart can
😆
Looks like it's lacking some torque. That's why you can't beat a big block V8.
GM 7.4L big block. 290 hp/ 410 ft-lb/ 10 mpg average. ❌
GM 3.0L TT. 360hp/ 405 ft-lb 21 mpg average. ✅
