I've never been a Cadillac fan but I came across this lastnight and now I'm obsessed. I've always respected Cadillacs but hated that "big car" style but this is something else. I love it.
Happy that they did actually offer the fully digital gauges for 2021 but can't wait till they get the same dash setup from the new Escalade in the CT5 V as well...hopefully sooner rather than later!
I’m glad they have the fully digital dash too! I’m afraid it most likely won’t come to the car, or if it does it will probably only be for one model year. But if the CT5 goes electric then when a refresh comes around 2025 it’ll most likely have a similar interior!
Nice review. The all black is beautiful - they did a really good job on the design of this car to compete with European luxury makes. I have a 2016 white ats coupe with the black midnight edition but i love this all black. Hoping to upgrade one day.

I do like the Sedona interior but I had a GMC Acadia with two tone gray seats . I really liked those leather seats I think two tone gray in the Ct5 would look nice . Nice video I’m calling my dealership
I’m looking to get the AWD ct5 v series in velocity red with the 19” black satin rims and the red caliper option. The only thing I believe I’ll be opting out of is the smart drive autopilot option. I’m a little sad that with the AWD with the velocity red color option my only choice for interior is the jet black with the Sedona sauvage seats and accents, i think it looks amazing in the black raven color option but I wish with my red color option I could do the all jet black interior.
Love this Caddy and was interested in getting it as my 5 Series lease is about to expire. I built a loaded V with Super Cruise. Sticker $67k. Was quoted $1035 a month for 36 months, 10k miles a year with no cap reduction. I wouldn’t wish that deal on my worst enemy. Back to Bimmer.
Just bought a 2021 ct5 v an just want to know why is the passenger side v badge is facing the wrong way. My other V’s the were facing down wind. The driver side is the right way an on the trunk.

The Black Wing is The Fastest you can get now. CT5- BLackWing is coming. The New V is like the V-Sport Used to be. The BlackWing is a Twin Turbo V8 pushing 650hp. The CTS V-Sport which is the one before this is a Twin Turbo V6 Pushing 420 HorsePower and 430 Torque. So the Older one is Faster.

Ummm, my 2014 XTS-Vsport produces 410hp & AWD Twin Turbo 3.6L So, that CT5-V is really a CT5-Vsport, because if it doesn’t have a V8 ~ it’s not a real “V” But, the CT6-V Blackwing 4.2L is a real V
Enamored with the car's technology but the two gnawing items under my craw are: 1. you cannot get the all around rear view camera listed at roughly 2K without being suckered into a 14-16K package! 2. Why aren't cloth seats offered as an entry level item? They're definitely preferable to 'leatherette' in my book. Could argue for a more upright rear roof for the realities of taller passengers. I'm not in the market, but the first two statements should really be addressed. This is particularly true if you want to grab more sales.
Only thing I hate on this car is the lack of headroom in the rear, and them downsizing pass-through trunk area, and cheap looking gages and dash. BETTER electronic gages are supposed to show up next model yr.

The horse power. 340 Is a bit turn off. It would been nice if it. 450. No doubt hands down I would by one the style Is alsome. Realey sporty Wonder if someone can get an up grade on horse power I would be realey interested. In buy that Cadillac The car is realey growing on me. I like it.
Not everyone wants to or can afford a 85k car, so making a lower tier version seems smart to get more of the market don't you think? Now it can compete with luxury sedans in the 48k to 60k range.
The need to stop putting the V badge on a V6. More because it doesn't have a supercharged or turbo V8, but also because it's making less than the ATS-V was... THIS IS A V-Sport.
Who else stopped watching the video once they heard that it was only 360HP? Such a beautiful car deserves better. A performance 4 door vehicle needs to be able to at least compete with the M5 or it doesn't deserve such a title.
Isn't that why they made the Blackwing version? Also, not everyone can afford a 100k car or even want to spend on that especially in the current climate.
If they made it 500hp, then it would be like 30k more. This is obviously to compete with the mid level luxury sedans like the Acura TLX type s or the BMW M340i
