    Great video. I've got a 2020 Telluride S, no sub. I put a custom system into mine. I wish this video was out in 2021, I learned a lot about taking off the wheel well panel from you. Thank you. Ran my stuff the hard way.

    Good video I have a 2024 Telluride but what you didn't show on the video is how it sounds. When can we see that?

      Sadly RUclips takes issues with Music on videos and has a tendency to take down videos.
      I’ve since gone from 2 subs down to 1 and it still sounds great. I might stick with the single sub but go to a larger box to get a better SQL out of it. All in all it made a huge difference. I would definitely recommend doing it.

    I have been trying to pause the part where you connect the audio signal to the rocker panel by the oem sub woofer. Is it possible to get photos from you or a diagram?

    Hi can you please explain more how did you hook up those loc wires? Its dual voice coil but not sure which one i should hook up

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  3 месяца назад

      I did this almost a year ago but looking at the video it appears that the adapter has a left and right channel. So I hooked up one channel to one voicecoil and the other channel to the other voicecoil. White wire is usually left side so its White on Green and White/Black on Orange then Grey on Blue then Grey/Black on Red.

    How do I get rid of wining noise. I had local sound shop do my install for my telluride. I have turn my gain level down on my clarion crossover under half. What can I do so I can turn up the gain.

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  4 месяца назад

      They used a crappy inline adapter or just tapped into the wires themselves. Take it back to them and tell them you are not happy with the noise and ask them what inline adapter they used. Tell them you think its faulty (so they can save face) and ask them to install something like the Kicker KISLOC2. That is what I put in my car and I have no noise at all.

    Question. Is your vehicle equipped with stop/start? If so, does your amp cutoff when stop/start is engaged?

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  Год назад

      Good question. Yes it is equipped and it does cut the bass out for like 10 seconds. If I'm in stop and start traffic I turn it off.

      @Jack and the beanstalk I believe you would have to run the remote wire to the ignition wire. But I am still not sure it wouldn't shut off with the stop/start feature.

    Hey there, loved the video! Might be a dumb question but what did you do with the factory wiring to the factory sub? Did you plug it back in or left it unplugged? The sub isn’t being used anymore right?

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  Год назад

      I left it plugged in. The factory Amp will still power it. Can't hurt to have another speaker back there.

    Just the video I was looking for. I have a 2020 Telluride SX and wanted to add a powered Kicker 10" sub needed to see how to access the factory sub speaker wires for the line in connection. Was hoping that I did not have to remove the rear panel and third row seats, but oh well. Any advise before I proceed? Great video...thank you!!

    I am being told 1500$ for 2 speakers and an Amp and the necessary wiring. 700 is just labor. This blows my mind what are your thoughts

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  Год назад

      2 kicker L7 speakers $500
      1 box $100
      1000 watt Amp $300
      Wiring kit $200
      So I'm in for about $1100. You can go cheaper on speakers and save a lot. But 700 for labor is really high.

    • @RadioCoug
      @RadioCoug Год назад

      @@Tech4hireOnline Thank you for your help and reply. From your memory, do you remember if this is a shallow 8" or normal size, regarding depth? Shallow 3", normal is about 5"? Also, is there room in the factory space to go with a larger sub, like a 10" or a 12", or would you recommend to keep it at 8", (if I wanted to keep hidden, and not add a box)?

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  Год назад

      @RadioCoug It was a shallow sub, but it has a oddly shaped speaker frame. So you will have to do some customizing. A standard shallow 8 won't fit.

    I need help, I’ve installed the same kicker module and my amp doesn’t shut off. Anyone know why that might be? It’s like the remote from that module is sending a constant signal.

    • @Tech4hireOnline
      @Tech4hireOnline  Год назад +1

      The car has power running through it for like 5 to 10 minutes after the car has been turned off and the doors locked. My Amp has a light on it so at first I thought the same thing but after awhile it shuts off. When you hit the lock button or the lift gate it will send power back to the Amp again. A way to test would be to hook up a low voltage light to your Amp wiring (remote wire and ground) and it should shut off when the power finally shuts off.
