Hello . can you answer me for me question please are all the states come just 10 speakers i bought telluride from Columbia and i don’t know how many speakers in me car
In 2020 Telluride won more automotive awards in one year than any other vehicle ever had. It’s like a luxury limo with suv capabilities. I was a former Audi owner and I prefer Telluride.
I like the view of the display, much easier to see. Im actually heavily considering one of these, a review will be nice to see soon! I missed the live drive though :(
Thank you for this review. I am a 2022 Telluride SX Prestige Owner and a home audiophile enthusiast with a dedicated room, in additional to many audio systems throughout. The Teulluride, 10 speaker premium Hardon Karmon system is absolutely a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It is completely horrible, compared to my rental car...the Volkswagen Atlas. In fact, it's so bad, (the VW today exposed the Telluride's weakness), so today I popped into our large car audio retailer chain, Car Toys in the Seattle area, in addition, I called Crutchfield on the phone. It's not specifically the speakers by Harmon Kardon. It's the integrated amp built into the head/display unit on the Telluride. It's just plain garbage. On a 1-10, I rated my system, again, I have the top of the line factory radio....I give it a 4, maybe a 5 max. With my research so far, without breaking the bank, I'm going to install a 6 channel JL Audio Amp, ($600), keep the factory speakers, reconvene and test. I think it's the amp, therefore I'm not going to rush out and change out all the speakers. Kia has done a good job and packing in a lot of stuff, but frankly, I am very disappointed with the audio quality from the factory. It just sucks. Can I say that? Most mainstream mass market folks, don't care, or simply, like my wife, don't care and wouldn't hear the difference. I can. The Telluride premium audio system sucks, and frankly, the German Volkswagen Atlas is on the best factory audio systems I have ever heard in my entire life. If I didn't own the Telluride, I would consider buying a Volkswagen Atlas. Shame on Kia for installing such a lame system. You have to compare to hear the difference. Bottom line. The Telluride premium audio system is a huge disappointment. It's. That. Bad. Update on 4-21-23: The entire Factory System is going to be changed out: JL Audio XDM 800 8 Channel Amp Focal ISU 165 component speakers (pair) for front doors, (woofer and tweeter). Focal ISU 165 component speakers (pair) for rear doors, (woofer and tweeter). Center Speaker size unknown. TBD and replaced/upgraded. Sub Size unknown. TBD and replaced/upgraded. AudioControl LC8i Line Output Converter/Processor Wire Bundle Kit for amp with Fuses SoundShield Car Sound Deadening Door Kit for Doors ~ 4 Rolls.
@@ericjackson87 The audio sound and outcome is unreal. Absolutely stunning. Yes, expensive. Components, I think somewhere around $2K. Labor $1K. Worth every penny. And I realize most would never prioritize their factory to after market, but those who do appreciate it, are blown away with it, and would do it again, in a heartbeat.
@@DailyMotor doing some digging... it appears the US models get 10 speakers while the Canadians get 12. Unless a US owner wants to open up the dash and door panels, we may never know.
@@biliam1982 Do the US models just not have tweeters in the rear doors? Because I went around and found the 12 speaker grilles, but I suppose it's possible two of those didn't have speakers behind them.
This is disappointing, I'm really interested in the Telluride but a good stereo is a make or break for me. Not made any better by the fact all these car manufacturers are locking away the premium stereos in the top trims.. I'd be fine with a lower trim as long as I could get some good tunes :-/
Kia and those tin can doors make the speakers so small so you can’t hear their doors vibrate no matter what brand they slap on it no power goes in the rear
Apparently the US-spec Telluride only has 10 speakers while the Canadian model has 12.

Thanks! We're working on getting a crisper camera for that angle, but at this point we're just working with what we've got. Sorry we missed ya!
@@DailyMotor hey, whatever works right! The lighting inside doesn’t help I’m sure, since it’s darker. Great content guys!

great review as always! Please test the new Sorento 12 speaker Bose system
Thank u for this video. Ordered the telluride and was wondering what the sound system would be like.
Could you do a speaker test/review of the Hyundai Palisade Caligraphy or Limited? I'd like to compare the Telluride and the Palisade.
Please review highlander and new grand Cherokee McIntosh sound systems if possible.
Kia's website claims 10 speakers. Where did you get the info that it was 12?

The Hyundai Palisades has 12 speakers and the kia 10
From the speakers of my phone. It seems the fender of Passat better than this. Isn't?
Thanks

I certainly agree with that latter point. That's what I like about Volvos is you can typically get their amazing B&W systems even in more base models.
whereis the DNB, trance, psy, neuro, vaporwave, house, good stuff?
