- The Sunday Rant is not fooled! Have you seen these dual plated trucks? Plates from the US and Mexico? There are other things about that. Look at the trailers. These trucks are trying to pass as local carriers. They put bald eagles on the trailers and wording to fool you. We should not allow these dual plated trucks to haul freight within the United States. Rates will not increase as long as these trucks hold them down. The same with driver pay. People residing in Mexico make considerably less than those of us living in modern civilization. Companies love this as they can pay less to pad profits.

Craigslist is full of them especially along the border, Trancasa is one Of those Mexican Companies operating here in the USA and in Mexico
I have been trying to bring this attention to people thousands of trucks out of Mexico are running our fright. Yes they are hauling fright out of us I pull flatbed and everyplace I load I see more Mexico trucks than us trucks in a lot of places.

I'm at a truck stop outside of Omaha and have seen about a dozen of these types. When I worked local for a Save a Lot warehouse the guys coming in at night for the docks were often dual plated like that
WOW yes that was NAFTA stuff That's further North than I like to see them. That's taking a good run (Mexican border to Omaha) taken from our market.
I agree with you that they shouldn't be allowed to haul freight north of the border. But I believe that this isn't necessarily the reason for the decline in trucking job postings. I think it has more to do with the current state of the economy.

Seems like this has been going on for a long time. I know when I first started back in the 90s used to have guys from Guatemala driving in New Jersey. They would work about six months and then go home.. You knew who they were since most drove Scania c/o’s

this happens in europe. go to a country like Germany or France. And you will see trucks, or lorrys as there called. With a plate from Turkey or Russia, or Portugal or spain
