"The young kids don't buy these cars." I own a '94 Grand Marquis and I'm only 17 and a friend of mine owned a '94 Crown Vic. *Some* of us kids do like these cars.
These Crown Vics are the unsung heroes of Police Departments and Taxi companies nationwide. I worked for a Ford dealership and the two cars that Ford built that gave hardly any problems was the Crown Victoria and the Mustang (ones that kids didn't destroy). Ford made a huge mistake discontinuing the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis in my opinion. Both excellent reliable American cars. Yes it's true, I have seen police Crown Vics running strong with over 200,000 miles that were converted to taxis. Amazing reliability!
I have two 97 lx’s now. One with 51,000 miles and I just got a gem with 17,089 miles on it. Just did full audio system, back up camera, LED everything. They are reliable and fun to drive!
You should have one imported. I've heard of Poles and Germans buying this and owning them over in Europe. Little more expensive to own overseas from what I heard but they all love it.
At the age of 16 I bought my 1993 crown victoria for 800 dollars. I'm 23 now and the car is still ticking. I have currently mothballed her because I have a massive project in the EGR valve but I love the car enough to keep her when I should have let go of her after sinking almost $1200 into her over the years just to keep her running. She is my first car and I want to keep my Vicky as long as I can. Mayby I'll see about getting a 2010ish Interceptor so I can alternate.
Nice use of cinematic blur in your video. Narrow depth of field is a nice artistic effect. And then wide angle wide depth of field with the GoPro. Yes, very well done.
Nice use of cinematic blur and narrow depth of field focus. Good artistic effect. And the wide angle wide depth of field in the GoPro cam is a good contrast to the other. Good video.
What are these worth? I have a 94 interceptor same color needs a fuel pump I hate to sell it for a derby car so what should I expect to get from this No rust
Homeboy keeps talking about Grandma and Grandpa owning this car, but he also says he got it at an auction, so I guess he's just making the Grandma/Grandpa thing up? Kind of a slimy sales tactic.
they are every where just look around but look out for cop cars some people make em look like a lx but have been abused and chopped up over the yrs. also rust cause they are old cars.
seriously it's a vic review vehicles that are cool not every day cab/pursuit vehicles still in use what is this grandma cars are from the old days not som vic!!!
I don't know much about Jags but Id bet the Jag would handle much better and has a better finished interior. I guarantee the Vic is more comfortable, more reliable and cheaper to maintain.
In that case, I'd like to put that to the test and see which one comes out on top. Because I've never been in a crown vic before and it's been years since I've ridden in an XJ40. By the way, You're probably right about the realiability because the Jag would suck dirt through the throttle body occaisionally.
Patrick Donaldson Well, one things for sure. The xj40 is a much better looking car. It does have a certain class thats lacking in the ole Vic. But I've owned 6 panther platform cars. From vics, grand marquis and town cars. They all were tough as nails and cheap to own. They put you to sleep on highway, like sitting in your armchair. The overboosted power steering can be operated with a finger. They are the greatest highway cruisers.

One of the nicest 94's I've seen tight there. Body & especially the interior.

We just bought a 93 Crown Vic for our son’s first car. Damn I wish Ford still built these- I’d buy a brand new one for myself!
Anyone who doesn’t appreciate these RWD V8 behemoths has no taste. I love them more than modern vehicles. Simplicity is key!

I wonder how this car would compare to a Jaguar XJ40 Gold.
I don't know much about Jags but Id bet the Jag would handle much better and has a better finished interior. I guarantee the Vic is more comfortable, more reliable and cheaper to maintain.
