I never brought the antenna down on my Grand Marquis except to show my friends that it still worked after 20 years and 250,000 miles. Everything but the cruise control worked on that car.

Bought this exact year from "The little old lady next door". Was 12 years old with 58,000 miles. Loaded to the gills. Hands down, the smoothest, most comfortable car I've ever owned. Absolutely trouble free up to 130k. Only sold it when the Mrs. decided "she didn't look cool" in it and bought a Chrysler Pacifica instead. Yes, she regretted it. Also had a 1980 way back when. Loved that one too. If ever I find another in good shape with low miles (latest production years...say 2009-2011) I will jump on it. Sublime, rugged and easy to maintain. LOVE them!!

Just picked me up a 92, one owner, 48k original miles! Traded a Jeep YJ with a blown motor to the grandson who got it handed down from Grandma. She drove it to the Dr. once a month, then it sat in her garage for five-years after she passed. I freakin LOVE IT!! It’s got a little miss I found out while driving today. No check engine light though, so I’m assuming maybe fuel filter.

The 1992-1997 Mercury Grand Marquis' body style would carry over to the 1998-2011 Ford Crown Vic.

@@mikecastellon4545 the doors, windows and front and rear windshields are the same parts for 92-2011 Grand Marquis and 98-2011 Crown Vics. They did change the rear suspension for 98 and the entire chassis and steering were redesigned for 2003 but with the same body put back on top of the new frame
