Your canned food is literally art. It's just gorgeous. You elevate canning to a whole new level. I admire your skills and creativity. Also your gorgeous kitchen!
So nice of you…. that made me cry. I think what you see is actual love in jars in the form of food 😆 I think you can always tell when someone works with their hands, for the love of their family, all to the glory of God and when someone doesn’t. It shows. The jars just look beautiful when canned with love flowing through your hands. 🥰🙏🏼

I have not heard of onion stock being canned. Very interesting and my family loves onions so this is one of love to learn. I’ll look for a video of you making it. I hope I can find it.

There's no equal to homemade stock and broth in stores. At least not in NW Ohio, lol. You can make a basic soup taste over the top when you use your own homemade ingredients. 😊 Congratulations, Heather. I did not realize you had been doing these vlogs for so many years until I searched your recipe for chili beans because there were so many great comments about how they are the best! Wow! I can see the culmination of years of hard work cooking, canning & preserving! Pretty sure that may be just scratching the surface of everything that went into it behind the scenes. And lots of time and effort filming and editing, collecting and compiling. Your RUclips play button is well deserved! Beautiful photo with your Mom and family. Honey, you are motivating this old farm lady to make some of your beautiful stock!! This was such a beautiful and artful video!! It was cool and rainy, today, so I went back and looked at some of your old bread videos. I made some bread, and it warmed up the house and brought warm memories of my parents. Both my Mom and Dad passed away in the past year. Mom was 91, and Dad was almost 94. They raised us 9 kids, so making MANY loaves of bread, and doing all the gardening and canning was how we survived lean times. Heather, you are such a beautiful Spirit, and an inspiration to so many, whether with your home skills, or your Spiritual sharing. Keep on being the lovely Soul that you are! Are you canning apple juice or vegetable broth? Beautiful!! Ladies at church brought me 7 quart jars last night. They mostly all save jars for me now!! I use all kinds. I always take them something I can in return fir the jars. They mainly love the sauerkraut!! When we have our supper club, I usually fry half a gallon to take. Lol. Love the videos. Congrats Heather! I started baking bread when RUclips recommended one of your bread videos. That was four years ago, and I have been watching you ever since. I go grocery shopping once a week and it never fails that I get in a conversation with folks on the price of food these days. Times are hard. I bake bread from your recipes at least once a week and when I do I double the recipe. Then when it's all baked and bagged, I take some loafs to my neighbors. When I saw some of your canning videos, I took the leap and made some jellies. This past Christmas I took some of my neighbors some homemade bread and canned jelly. They were so grateful. This summer I plan to do a lot of canning and pass some out to some of my neighbors I know can benefit from a little extra food for their pantries. I have been blessed, so I need to help my fellow neighbors as best I can in these trying times. Plus, you make canning so much fun! I always have your videos on when I am in the kitchen. Heather you are amazing with all you have going on to be able to do all that canning and your pantry is my dreams it will never happen my family is very picky but I love everything I’ve bought 4 raised beds at a great place 99. A piece they are 80x4x17 and metal bought tons of plants and seeds just waiting for the last frost if you ever want the information on the beds just send me a message it was truly a blessing to find them because they are so expensive and now I can grow so much more
I remember watching you when you were just learning and Mason was tiny. So thankful for Noreen from Noreen's Kitchen for encouraging you along the way to become the canner that you are today.
Thank you! Well, Noreen didn't teach me canning, but she taught me a lot about cooking from scratch and baking bread! And that's where I found a real passion for bread! Bev from Our Half Acre Homestead, Bexar Prepper and KatzKradul....those were the women who taught me a lot about canning! It is why I am so passionate about passing the baton forward here on my channel.... to be an encouragement to others. If I can do it anyone can!

Made onion stock this afternoon….. think I “tripped” while spooning the turmeric….. looks a bit cloudy….yikes…. Lol
it will be cloudy at first but once it cooks in, it will be ok..... let it all settle to the bottom for a good hours before you can it... do not stir it!

Every time I step into my kitchen to cook or bake I am taken back to the many many times I spent hovering around the kitchen watching in awe as my grandmother did her thing. Never once did she use a recipe and every dish came out perfect. Every cookie she ever baked, perfect. She measured with so much love! I know she would be proud of me for not giving up in there.
