I just finished mission 4 of the viper campaign last night and so far it has been amazing! If you want the most realistic representation of what it's like to be a viper fighter pilot in combat, this is the campaign for you!
On mission 3 and couldn't recommend this enough, Reflected you always do such an excellent job with storytelling, enjoyed the little nods to movie tropes in the pilot bios, and the start up, authentication etc. procedures really add to the immersion. I won't spoil mission 1 but I assume it's a little nod to a certain incident that happened in March of last year? 🤔
Things I want to buy this xmas: F14 + Supercarrier (decided I like naval ops in VR) NTTR Map (Speed & Angels F14 + Mig Killers F4) and now Kola Map (this) I get at most an hour or 2 a week to play this sim, I don't know why I do this to my wallet or to myself but I can't stop
same - as for time. Wife (2nd one), 5 kids between us and a full time job means 1.5 hours after i get home MAYBE 2-3 days a week. I have to skip Reflected's expanded startup otherwise i would have to exit well before i finish the mission; even then its tight. But damn...do i enjoy that hour and 15 minutes or so. I also want to punch something when my VR is acting up and i lose a session. 10 minutes spent un-f**king it means "not enough time"
@@NLarsen1989 MiG Killers might be the least time consuming of these campaigns. The missions are not long, but you have to study a bit before playing them, read the briefings, understand the exercise
This campaign is amazing !! And the concept is truely a new expérience on DCS. I really hope it's not the last time you and Baltic team up to create side by side campaign. Maybe one with the Mirage 2000 or F1 🙏🏻😁
I got them both, and I am starting Baltic Dragon's first, I'm excited (but not very good, lol) so this might take some time, but I know I'll be a better pilot coming out of these!
How so? The last update from a couple weeks ago added some pretty finicky instability at low speed/high alpha but I haven't gotten to play today's update yet
@@ReflectedSimulations Truth! For me and some of the other more experienced hands in my squadron it's a little extra minor wobble, but for some of our newer guys it's a downright existential threat if they get slow in the weeds during a BFM set

Same here. 4 Missions done so far. And but the replayability is higher then ever. Very well done
@@pyr0duck676 so happy to hear that, thanks!

I laughed at that part and thought "wow, this really is realistic!" 😆
@@NB28VT thank you. Yes the campaign contains several ‘nods’. I love ‘nods’ :)
So much action 🎉
@@TrickerDCS Insert “Anyway, I started blasting” meme here :)
@@ReflectedSimulations hehe.. insert.
I just started this Campaign. So good.
@@jambo72nd thanks :)
Lookin' Great!
Great campaign! Hopefully, the save feature will soon be delivered.
might be the best reason to buy kola

@@rwhunt99 why don’t you play the missions in chronological order? There is a guide in the doc folder
This will be an expensive campaign for me...map + campaign, but Xmas is coming!!
Mission 10 is literally called "Ho-ho-ho" :)
Is this one of those campaigns that you need to qualify? And are hot starters are available also?
@@Edu-hx9sz no and no. But you can always use the autostart cheat

@ they should try flying the Phantom 😆
@ReflectedSimulations I fly only the phantom and the F16 lol. It was just a very abrupt change. They've acknowledged it and said it will be fixed.
