Currently I am running none at all...

I would enjoy seeing more F-16 content from you, maybe even some basic tutorials of weapons employment or something(i know you likely won't do BVR for obvious reasons), but air to ground stuff would be cool to see. Maybe mor Viper content will help keep me motivated to learn it and enjoy it lol
When you're in a landing configuration, what's the vertical bar for in your HUD? In the hornet we trim to it on landing for AOA but I didn't see that from you and I understand you don't trim on the viper for landings.
Question for ya, was it easier to make turs in the Hornet with The FBW systems as opposed to the Viper with the hydraulic system? It looks like you have to kind of lead the aircraft in the direction you want it to go
After flying the hornet as my first 4th gen jet (in DCS), the Viper is badass but it's really hard to get used to the mfd's being so much smaller. Was that ever an issue irl?
Not sure what you were pressing, but when flicking it to dogfight mode, it would normally stay there. Maybe you're using a spring loaded switch and you have the "back to nav mode" bound to when the switch returns to center, or you bound the momentary one? Try messing with the keybinds a bit, often there are multiple keybinds for the same function, but some automatically switch off when you let go of the switch and others don't. The ones that you need to hold in position are meant to be used if your hotas has a 2-position switch which isn't spring loaded.
I was using an F-16 switch. The issue was not whether it stayed in dogfight. Previously, the DCS F-16 did not maintain the lock when cycling the switch outboard and inboard (DGFT to MSL OVRD)
Its great that real pilots do thse videos and share info with other players. That is important when developer comes out and says that they have module working like in real life and its nothing like that really. Im not even talking about how systems work.

One other thing, Mover, you talked about maybe adjusting your curves, and that might make a difference. Would you mind sharing your curves and general settings?
Funny, I called out DCS for your review last year with the viper and Newy was adamant that the 16 was fine. Guess someone there listened to community feedback. Yeah the infamous DCS Viper drift. They fixed it… once.
For the full ride you should see if WinWing would let you review the F-16 Orion2 HOTAS ViperAce with the force sensing MFSSB. It takes some effort to dial in the MFSSB and DCS settings but it's much better than just springs and gimbals. My only FBW experience is the A320 & A330 sidestick which has a lot of travel compared to the Viper. It feels and flies just right IMHO.
Mover, check out the Pimax Crystal Super when you get a chance. Specifically, please investigate the eye-tracking based Dynamic Foviated Rendering technology. I'm interested to see what sort of FPS performance increase it provides.
The new joystick gradient thing is a bit weird. But a center mounted stick with an 10cm extension is never gonna feel right in a 16 lol. With default values I had to basically have full rear deflection to get her to rotate at all....and it was still ugly.

would love to see some multiplayer stuff but i know that you probably cant record that but would be very interesting to see some PVE A/G strikes and so on in the dynamic campaing pretense map
Yes, definitely more DCS videos!
Try the bleed rate characteristics with stores and bags and tell us how that compares.
If you don't use it, you lose it, Mover. But, YEAH! more DCS.
The aerobraking is probably a stick thing, yeah. I never have issues with keeping the pointy part up (FSSB-R3).
butter smooth landing!
AT Pod shop is pissed you didnt stow that pod😂😂😂
*pilot write up* EO servo fail, just happened out of nowhere

Thank you - these are great!
The new joystick gradient thing is a bit weird. But a center mounted stick with an 10cm extension is never gonna feel right in a 16 lol. With default values I had to basically have full rear deflection to get her to rotate at all....and it was still ugly.
more please, love this content!
