Oooft! This is class! Also love the ghost in the shell sample, don’t know who’s track this version is but Makai - Beneath The Mask is one of my favourites using the same sample ❤
Always such great videos.. easy to follow and precise instructions, as a dj for over 10 years I can honestly say I've never seen anyone make tutorials as good as becky 👏👏💪💪
I didn't want to give you a chance at first, then I said okay let me watch this stream, then the loud Heeeeeeeey I'm Becky how's it going. At that moment, I knew this set was going to rip and I was right, absolute banger of a set.
I used to and sometimes still do a bit of casual DJing (mostly cheesy kids' discos these days!) and mixing for me was challenging (in the old days of vinyl and CD decks) so this is mind blowing - I know tech has moved on but the knowledge, skill and musical ability to do this are a true craft - not necessarily my music style but truly impressive when I see how well you know your kit and how that translates - props
At first, I was being closed minded and thought “another James hype looping transition” but I was wrong. Listening to it without watching it… it was not the same at all. It’s tasteful and does not overpower the transition, just accents it and allows it to happen in an organic way. Good jorb
Love your videos, Becky, what would your advice be for someone to get into this as a hobby, how should they start out? You clearly have some impressive equipment with many physical dials, but can youget a smaller setup with software using a PC? Also have you made a video on this before, like the base stuff you need to get started? And if not that would be interesting to watch. Thanks in advance!
@@BeckySaifMusic yea because as a total noob, watching these videos is cool, but I already know my negative bank account won't be able to afford the stuff you have 😂 So like when I got started with photography I used my phone and alter a cheap DLSR, I hope this hobby has some entry point too because I hear its always a mistake to spend big on the best equipment before you even know the skills or if you'd stick with the hobby.
Man the Ghost in the Shell Soundtrack! so so epic.. timeless classic! Was that just the OST? Or a specific track, i know there a few tracks that use the sample..
Thanks for your tips, but for me there is only bass in the face and no compromises. Everything on vinyl and nice acid or Schranz. ... I don't know an English word for Schranz .... sorry
I only require five things to enjoy this sort of music: A fat pay check for showing up Noise-cancelling earmuffs Gravol Menthol oil A disinfectant bath for afterwards
You've cut the bass so can put anything over the top as long as you match the tempo. Its a bad habit you need to get out with otherwise you'll become unstuck one day.
I don't even know what you're talking about. Cutting that bass in DJing means you have room to put things on top 😂 I don't understand this comment anyway. If I've been DJing for 20 years and I have bad habits, I'll be dead before I unlearn them anyway
That ghost in the shell sample was epic! Holy smokes!
🥰
Yep I noticed that too.
@@BeckySaifMusic might you tell us, what song this is? P.S.: I love GITS

You make good tutorials. Good pacing, energy, and I like that you dip the music volume when you talk.

Much respect for the jungle music!

Ghost in the shell never sounded so good!

Why do I keep watching these? I am a guitar player, lol. Good stuff!
🤣🤣 maybe it's a sign... Black Friday coming up!
Great effect. I have a similar technique, but this was flawless
Thanks 😁
Oh man....i would love to learn from scratch....
But it would probably take me forever to just learn the basics..
Thx for cool shorts!!..
The basics are all you need really. These tricks are great for adding flair but they aren't the fundamentals of DJing. 😏
Nice do some more ❤
K-damn, this is insane!
