Depending upon age tell those worried about crime to look in the NW suburbs- Marana Twin Peaks area or Oro Valley if older. No zombies, no crime, no homeless, no massive potholes. We actually have responsive police. Scenery is beautiful too. The downside is the stinking hot weather. After 24 years we're moving to a cooler climate where I can garden year round. I want hot just not stinking hot.
I live in OV. It is a shithole in a different kind of way. A billion stoplights, and no diversity in landlords and small businesses. So the small business and restaurant and amenity scene is shit.
Thank you for sharing your experience and insights about the NW suburbs! It's great to hear about the positives and the considerations for those looking to move there.
Marana twin peaks and I-10 🎉🎉🎉 hometown freaking beautiful. Been down 3 times mobbed the Tucson streets for years❤. Living in Central City Phoenix now. Took 6 hours for the police to come when someone hit and run me. Don't move to Central City guarantee you in the top five of all cities in the US crime here in Phoenix
I moved to Tucson in 1982. I stay inside and move from AC one environment to another for 5 months every year. We all laugh at the "DRY HEAT" outsiders say. It's flippin crazy hot July to Sept. Biggest problem is it doesn't cool off at night. For 3 months its above 90 degrees 24/7. My house stays 69 degrees inside but I PAY for it. This guy isn't far off the mark on other parts of the video but Fentanyl is rampant being 60miles from a wide open border that people die trying to cross constantly. I have spoken with border patrol and had a delivery business in those areas and they find bodies all the time that are not reported since they are not Americans and usually Cartel connected. Otherwise it's a lovely Place to live.
He Paul, maybe it’s just me but could you turn that music down a notch? Maybe a switch up to a little softer or slower local ethnic music.
It's not you. I do like that idea too! I've let my editing team know
As a disabled Veteran (90%), that is deducted from my property tax. So, if my property tax is $2,000, I pay on;y 10% of it, or $200.
That's a great benefit for disabled Veterans! Thank you for your service.
So if it’s a 110 outside, what would the temperature be inside the house?
It rarely gets below 80 in my place, even with A/C.
We keep ours at 76
78 degrees. We'd have solar panels but we're moving by the end of the year. It makes sense to have solar panels in AZ with our sunshine.

That's not how you say Gila. It's a county, a river, a wilderness, and a monster. Important word.
I don’t know another way to say it
@@LivingInTucsonArizona He-la. In Spanish the G sounds like H, and the I is always pronounced like a long E.
Arizona has a flat income tax rate of 2.5%. This is new for 2023 and beyond.
That background music is annoying for us old hard of hearing folks.
Thanks! I'll pass that on to my editor for the next round!
@ralphstewart4025 it's not just you at all haha promise. It's suuuper annoying 😅
@@LivingInTucsonArizonanice thank you very much
The guy from France says hello...😉

I give Tucson one star, Avoid
Good we don’t want you here. 😂
If you’s a money grubber, it would be one star..
Why? Please explain! We love it here and can’t think of anyplace we’d rather live
How many blacks are living there
How many would you like?

If you are concerned dont move there but that is a bizarre comment. Probably should be concerned about living next to you is my thoughts.
We don't want you if that's your question
