I was expecting this to be north of $300 with your disclaimer, the price is not bad at all. A lot of people on the internet like to complain about the price of premium products and I find it incredibly annoying. Most have no idea what it takes to bring a product to market, especially something thats low volume. They assume the creator is 90% profit margin or something. Looks like a nice fence. When I upgrade my press I will look into buying this. I honestly hate using a drill press most of the time (mediocre press and no fence currently).

Like others have mentioned, I wondered if the fence would block the handles of the press as one is lowering the chuck during a drilling operation. I suppose one could put a spacer between the fence and the work piece, but keeping the fence low on one end and high on the other end so the fence can be flipped around would be nice. Also, for that price I'd like to see a rail milled into the face of the fence. Nice idea otherwise.
ETA: Looks like David removed one of the handles on his press - was that to avoid an interference issue?

Entertaining. Great vid “Dan”. Honestly most of the cost is in 3 mag switches so I’m surprised it’s not more $$. . Andrew K is indeed a genius and deserves everyone’s support. People who rail against great tools know the cost of everything but the value of nothing. If you don’t want a great fence, you always have the 2x4 and 2 harbor freight C-clamp option. I DO want a great fence and will sacrifice one great bottle of Bordeaux to have one. It’s priorities.

  • @daddywoofdawg

Not being a hater but doesn't that tall of a fence get in the way of the handle? Is there really a need for the height of the fence to be any more than the beginning of the handles/cutouts on the fence? seems it would be tall enough without and you wouldn't have any handle issues.
