While weight loss is an essential component for reversal of T2D, it surely leads to reconstruction of ones wardrobe multiple times or to live with oversized attire. The exercise of wardrobe reconstruction should be timed well and calls for extraordinary skills and foresight in deciding the new measurements. God Bless the poor souls 😊😅😂
😊👍 though on a serious note, thin diabetics are more difficult to reverse, esp, if your body is in the process of breaking down muscles to convert into glucose and all that excess sugars is getting stored in visceral areas.

I am 64 years young with 172 cm in height and weighed 64 kgs 2 years ago when I undertook the journey. I had lost 14 kgs till 6 months ago but have since regained 2 kgs till date. But my HbA1c is hovering at a high of 5.9, but for one month when it went down to 5.6. I wonder whether I come in the class of THIN DIABETICS!!

Hence your focus should be to have - no fatty liver , SGOT and SGPT below 35, triglycerides to HDL ratio below 2.5, uric acid below 6.0 and HbA1C below 5.8% ...
