I take you through everything I have learned, including the installation through to the initial startup with the 36mm Smartcarb SC2.
30% better fuel economy, 10% more horsepower, better low to mid power, toolless adjustability, auto temperature and elevation compensation, no fuel pump, no fancy electronics, just simple and precise air/fuel metering to feed your YZ125 2 stroke!
Its not cheap! But is it worth it? I am gonna find out.
This Smartcarb, combined with the full FMF exhaust and VHM cylinder head with SX dome should prove to be a very capable 125 and complement the already great handling and suspension of this motorcycle.

But why ? So you do y have any bottom ? It’s already a 125 with the easiest carb to tune
SmartCarbs are tuned by hand, without tools, in seconds. You don't even have to get off the bike to adjust it. There is no easier carb to tune.
@@ndn2589 dude it literally takes less than 10 seconds. And once it's tuned it stays tuned for much wider elevation and temperature changes compared to conventional carburetors.

My son has a 2023 YZ125 and we have the SmartCarb sc2, the factory settings from were 78 clicks and that was extremely rich, we are now at 121 clicks and still not exactly where it needs to be. Did you have to adjust yours this much?
It’s all stock except a bills pipe and silencer
@adamgeurts3345 the only adjustment I have had to make is with the idle. Runs very clean. Their support is really good if you haven't already contacted them.

How would this work with apex racing head i have Yz125 2003 an im thinking of getting the smart carb
