    I’ve been eating this way for 30 days! I’ve never felt better and I’ve lost 10 pounds! Thank you for introducing this way of eating to me! It’s amazing! No joint pain and feel amazing! Not 1 veggie or fruit in 30 days! Who knew?????

      Hi Lisa, thank you so much for sharing this information . I actually have never heard of this diet or information before , however,( I’m from Canada ) and growing up, my mom peeled everything for us. We did not eat apple peel or cucumber peel, but my how things have changed. I think it’s so important to listen to your body and do what feels good for you. I’m so happy that you found something that is helpful to you. My sister has struggled for years with many health issues such as Crohn’s disease, arthritis and her diet is now quite unconventional but works for her body and she feels so much better. She always said she felt like she was dying for years but is now doing so much better. I support anyone who is searching for better health and feeling good in their body. It is so personal.     I’ve been carnivore, zero carb, zero sugar, since Jan 13. I was so desperate I’d try anything. So I tried that. I’m 45. Finally gone is the pain. Finally able to drop the weight. I have a heart condition and needed to come down. I have slowly since January gone from 177lbs (I’m 5’4) to just 150 here today. Most of all, I finally feel good! I forgot what it felt like.
    I still have more to lose (due to my heart, doc wants me near 140) but it is not hard. I feel great!
    I was like you, Lisa. I was so afraid ppl would judge me.... and now, I’m bold. I don’t care. Thank you for using your RUclips platform to boldly share there is hope for those of us who have tried all else and just felt awful.

      MzAnzu if you are searching for health, you can eat eggs, aged cheeses. I know for sure those helped heal my body. I went weeks only on those two.
      You know: Death and dying is in the world because of sin entering thru the fall, until the Lord returns we are all stuck in this broken world. We are all terminal, ie, will one day die. We are just doing our best to live uprightly and justly with care and kindness, for people first and then care for the rest of the creation. I’m like you, I don’t like death of creatures, but maybe different in that I know it’s necessary.

I am so so desperate as well 45 and it’s like something happened this year the weight will not budge I’m telling you I’ve tried everything even that metabolic diet meant for women who are premenopausal NOTHING works

      Definitely, Lisa! It's so sad that the government has given us such complete garbage over the years, claiming it's "science". OMG. The food pyramid said to eat 10 servings of grains a day! The corruption from the grain industry is monstrous! How is fake butter even still sold?! How was it ever approved for sale?? To think that these disgusting politicians at the FDA sit at their desks eating Cheetos and Diet Coke while passing laws telling US what to eat is absolutely disgusting to me. This is why 1 in 3 people are obese or pre-diabetic. And they've destroyed the economy convincing everyone that Boogey Germs are the reason people get sick. Get real. Who actually believes that except for Group Thinkers?! Fear and upsetting events in a person's life are the reason for illnesses. The government is the CAUSE of the illnesses with their intentional Fear Campaign.

    Lisa, I was very worried to try keto. Mentally I was struggling to switch. I have tried it this week and I can't believe the changes I have felt. I honestly wanted this to not be the case. I haven't felt hungry or craved anything at all. I'm in shock! You encouraged me to try this. Why am I still skeptical? In my mind Im thinking these changes will be temporary. I am tracking every day changes. I have dealt with cravings for decades. I tried everything to help me, even medication and nothing worked. I am truly shocked! Please don't stop making these videos. It makes me feel not alone in this struggle. Thank you!

    Isn't it amazing how you become so in tune with hunger? You're not hungry until...you're hungry! I think so many people have lost their ability to discern hunger from cravings. I went from being constantly craving and never satisfied to rarely hungry but always satisfied, when I eat meat.

    I have gotten to the point where I don’t even try explain the keto diet or my reasons for doing it! I’m always told it isn’t a healthy way to eat but those same people think nothing about eating sugary processed crap..I don’t get it! But I wanted to say how stunning you are and I pray I look half as beautiful as you at 50!

      Denise Foss I have several friends who have had great success on keto and it looks different for each individual. When I hear someone criticize someone’s food choice always think to myself “eyes on your own plate.” Stay the course as long as it makes you feel good!

    I have Crohn’s which is autoimmune disease. I have joint pain in my feet, hands and sometimes in my knees. I have severe stomach cramping and I can eat something and two minutes later I need use the bathroom. It’s horrible. My doctor told me not to eat vegetables! He told me to eat yogurt with probiotics. He also told me no nuts! I am on medication that keeps it somewhat at bay. If I get sick or get very stressed it triggers a flair up. I am 54 and I am post menopausal. It will be two years in December. I had to go up a whole size to accommodate my stomach bloating! I don’t eat red meat. I do miss a good cheeseburger or a filet! I like chicken, pork tenderloin and fish. I am going to try the no veg, nuts and seeds! . My stomach has been a mess since March with this pandemic. Thank you for doing these videos. You give us “food” for thought! Plus, it’s nice to know that other people have the same struggles. I have no judgement of what you eat! Do what makes your body feel good! Still love your accent! As we Bostonian’s say “ you look wicked good girl”! Stay well! Hugs from Boston! ❤️

      Rose, I hear you! I've had an ostomy for 16 years and it comes down to just staying within the parameters our bodies tell us to eat. No heavy fiberous things for me!

      I have crohns too and I don't eat red meat either, I find it just too rich for me. Coincidently I was at the hospital with my boyfriend at the start of the year (he had nasty gastro) and I got chatting to the doctor about my crohns and he recommended the keto diet to me. While I've not fully adapted to it yet the research is really interesting and giving some fascinating results. Happy health to you all ❤

    Lisa....You are making a huge difference in my life with your daily posts! I can't even tell you. I have been a fan for years....but these changes...wow.     The avocado has a tiny stem on it. When it turns black and picks off easily the avocado is ripe. Also to test if it is ripe, squeeze it lightly. If it has some give to it, it is ripe. If it is rock hard, put it on/near sunny window sill and it will ripen up very quick. You can also buy frozen avocado chunks. I use those for a smoothie. About a cup of frozen avocado chunks to 1 and 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut milk ( from a carton) or unsweetened almond milk, 1 teaspoon lemon juice or lime juice, grated fresh ginger (optional) and a dash of cinnamon. Add ice and blend it up. So YUM!

    Lisa, you take care of YOU! I suffer from pain too....and eliminating flour and grains has helped me tremendously. I fell off the wagon, and once more went into pain. We are all different and what works for one, might not work for someone else. I am back on track today.

    Thanks so much for this video. I too have struggled with IBS it seems forever. And I too had so many pains and stomach problems I couldn't stand it any longer and Dr.'s didn't help. Do their tests but no real solutions. I have gone gluten free several times and really hated to lose one of my favorite foods. I finally went totally gluten free and then keto. I feel so much better. Lost 12 pounds of the 40 I need to lose. You have been so much help and truly inspiring. 😊 😊

    Thank you for sharing your journey and what you have been eating, and all of the great information. I started intermittent fasting and no/low carb Wednesday and I'm down 4 pounds already.

    Oh! And yes, the Instant Pot is a modern-day (safer!) pressure cooker! They can also be used on a crock pot setting. I have one and I love it - you can cook meats and other foods quickly and they come out like you've been cooking them all day. Highly recommend.

    Hey Lisa!! You look fantastic. And I really have enjoyed watching your weight loss journey. I have been doing the 12-6 fast and only losing about a pound a week.     Thanks for sharing! I am trying to lose menopausal weight and it is a struggle and the GI issues I have had since menopause 🤦‍♀️. We have to find what is right for ourselves and we are all different. I look forward to hearing more and will research the info you provided. Thanks again! 😊

    I just turned 50 last week and I must say, I care less and less what people think as I get older. I've always been pretty outspoken and I know its WAY different having a RUclips channel and all the trolls just love to hate on people. But that's just their insecurities showing. Mean people are never, ever, ever confident and this I know for a fact. Otherwise they wouldn't say a word to criticize others. Keep on doing what you're doing Lisa! I watched you years ago then stopped watching RUclips for a few years and just came back last year. I'm addictive to your channel because you are so real and I love your content. You ROCK, my sweet.     Hi Lisa, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! Don't even bother with whoever criticises without knowing...You look fabulous and it's so lovely to see how happy you are, you are literally beaming. I can understand about having a chronic condition, I am currently trying - yet again - so hard to heal my Hashimoto and related depression. Doing keto and interm fasting so far nothing is happening and it's been a month, still hoping, I see you and other people who have healed and it gives me hope. I am doing everything "perfectly" but no results yet, not in energy, or weight loss, I still am hungry..but I am trying to be patient, each body is different and maybe mine needs more time...wishing you the best. p.s. I am Italian and I do remember in the old days when making those sauces that cook for hours and hours on low fire, they would peel the tomatoes and sift through the seeds! I can't believe you brought this memory back to my mind! I have never been able to eat eggplants, they make me sick, and I always knew about the "poison". I don't eat them but I know you have to cut them, put salt on them to make them "purge" the "poison" and then cook them...love from Italy. p.s. you mentioned the pickles don't upset you, I do not remember if you mentioned in previous videos eating fermented food, which is good for our gut, our microbiome? Like sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) pickles, kimchi, kefir? just an idea

    I just eat clean and started to exercise more since Covid to relieve stress I really think it has helped even if its just a quick walk or run around the neighborhood or working out to videos at home getting those good endorphins working really makes a big difference I even have my 80 year old mother on a mini workout plan and she loves it!!💪😷🏋
