      Awesome for you!! I am turning 52 tomorrow ( or actually today) and menopause including this one ovary has been very cruel to me. I wake up hurting everywhere, ankles are swollen, and I’m miserable to the point of no life. So not such a happy birthday but watching Ms Lisa gives me hope.     You are the reason I started my weight loss journey. I’m 58, 5 ‘6” and weighed 154. I started 2 months after you started and am doing keto. I’m down to 122 and feel great. Thanks for the inspiration. Now I need to exercise and tone up!

    Hi Lisa, your approach is exactly right. I am 58 and have been weight training for over 15 years. Serious weight training often involves doing a cut and then build. The cut involves the weight loss and the build phase involves training the muscles to gain the sculpted look.
    At 58, I am at 18% body fat, 5’6 125 lbs. More importantly, my skeleton in strong. All women gain very important health benefits from resistance training. I am not talking about super heavy weights either. The act of muscles having to work against resistance will create beautiful tone and shape. If I could only do one form of exercise, it would be resistance training. Would love to see your training program.

    Lisa, I am so happy that you are discussing muscle atrophy. I am 53 and 5’9.5. I started intermittent fasting three years ago and I lost 25-30 pounds. I eat clean, healthy foods and I get a full blood panel done approximately every 4-6 months (for a thyroid concern). My doctor indicated that I am at the low end of my BMI range. This year, I have been struggling with muscle issues and I have had to go to physical therapy, first for hip issues and now for shoulder issues. I was shocked to learn how much strength I lost due to my weight loss. I don’t regret losing the weight, but I do regret not paying attention to my muscle atrophy. I looked fine and I did not realize what was happening to my body until I began to feel pain. I wish I could go back in time and work on strength and core training when I began fasting. Thank you so much for talking about this important topic.

    I’m 53 and I just lost 93lbs and have been doing yoga and working out trying to tone and firm my body also. I so get this!! And the lose skin! Ugh! I also do intermittent fasting and walking along with my working out. It has also changed my life and the way I feel. This is the path to true happiness!     For this 52 year old girl your videos are Inspiring and helpful! I love that you don’t use your age as an excuse. You are so right that our bodies do amazing things! I had a stroke at 35 and with time and rehab work my brain grew new connections to make up for the damage. We can do amazing things when we are consistent. Weekly vids would help us to be consistent I think. Thanks beautiful friend! 💖💕💖

    Lisa, I am now 75 and have been watching you for many years...had many of the stomach/bathroom/bloating issues that you had. Several months before Christmas I decided to try keto (because of your great progress) to see if I too could resolve some of those issues...well, even cheating sometimes almost 25 lbs have just melted off and I feel so much better...no more running to the bathroom after every meal, no more bloating...I mostly only eat lunch and dinner, mostly because I am simply not hungry in the morning so it makes IMF easy! I feel fab and now want to start toning muscles...thanks so much for your example to us! Appreciate you sharing your journey with us😘😘😘😘

    Lisa, thank you for another great video. You are so genuine and this is one of the reasons that I love your channel. I’m 57 years old and had always been a small woman. In my 50s my sweet tooth finally caught up to me. In February of 2020 I drew my line in the sand and said no more sugar. I would only have sugar in coffee or tea. To my surprise I lost more weight than I ever thought I could and I feel good, I have more confidence, and more than a year later I’ve kept the weight off. Thanks to you I’m stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion. And yes, I know the roller skating girl that you’re talking about! Finally, I got my Dean Davidson Manhattan citrine necklace yesterday and it’s stunning. I love it. I even got a compliment when I wore it today. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Hi Lisa, I have lost 44lbs since the start of the year & honestly, u have been a big inspiration, I've watched the docs that u said & they've guided me & helped me so much. I need to lose another 50 lbs atleast but I've learnt that taking it easy & doing it slowly is the best way bcos your skin doesn't go all saggy & loose. Anyway, I love your "talking" videos, so keep them coming. Cheers

      I still eat the exact same things~and I am posting some meals on my insta stories and highlights, too! I think that period of headaches and sluggishness is just something you have to go through and mine usually takes about a week~ this time not as long, I think I felt so bad already, this was a relief!     Thank you Lisa for all your time and information. I started watching Dr. Berg because of you and what a game changer! I am a nurse and this has been a very challenging year! Intermittent fasting was easy because I normally did not get lunch until 300 pm if at all! I was using lunch hour to nap after eating nuts! However my dinner was always healthy. Since I only work 3 twelve hour days I was so good on four days off. I see the difference! Dents near. My rib cage, tummy shrinking and jeans not so tight. I turn 65 this year! I come from a family of diabetics so I am sure I fall into insulin resistant category. However it is working. You have been a big inspiration. I love the fashion and especially the affordable fashion shows. Keep up the videos. They helped many of us through the pandemic 😷 (me 12 hours a day in a mask ugh) but saved on lipstick!

    Amazing video. I lost 30 pounds a few years ago on keto but I felt like I got a little too thin (especially in the butt) so I had to gain a little bit back. Well, now I gained a little bit more than I wanted so I am trying to lose 5 to 10 pounds to get back to where I felt the best. You are inspiring me. Thank you! 😘 Also, I have some loose skin on my tummy that bothers me but I finally decided that I’m just going to rock the tummy I’ve got. My tummy is flat but it’s a 50 year old tummy. I’m just happy to have what I have.

    Lisa I already commented but I was watching the beginning of the video when I commented and now I finish the video and girl you have no idea how much these videos are helping me I’ve watched you for years when you were in your 40s and I was in my 50s and you are a completely different person since you’ve been on this journey! It’s so obvious how happy you are and I just want to thank you for sharing this journey with us. I went off keto one Thanksgiving year and now I’ve gained my weight back and have been trying on and off to get back on it because I did feel as great as you do. But t I made a mistake and started eating carbs again and it was hard for me to get off of them especially sugar. Anyway I don’t wanna make this too long I just want you to know how much you’re helping me and I would enjoy seeing a weekly video on this topic. I enjoy seeing you anytime I can see you though!! So I started my keto journey last Friday and I finally got into ketosis and so excited to start seeing the weight come off and feeling good again thank you so much Lisa for your help!     Lisa, I'm so proud of you! Thank you for being you and honest.
    I was in a roll, losing weight, but the amount of stress I'm under right now from so many emergencies all at once, my sleep has been hindered and my weightloss has stopped. I'm focused on sleep and water for now because like you said, corstisol rises (also with stress). Due to covid-long term symptoms, now I'm needing surgery. I wont allow that to deter me from remaining focused. I welcome your weekly videos to help to keep me going....😍

    I have no words! ♥️ You’re an inspiration for so many women and I am personally so grateful. I am struggling to get a handle on this entire subject of good nutrition, exercise, and self-care. I’m not giving up but it’s not easy and I get so confused sometimes. You don’t know all of us subscribers but it sure feels like we all came from the same place.     Lisa, thanks for the fantastic video. You’ve done an amazing job to improve your health and body weight. I’ve got 15 years on you so it’s taken me longer to lose the weight, but you are so right about not over exercising and getting rid of the cellulite. Changing to a keto/carnivore and IF lifestyle is the only way to go. ❤️❤️❤️

    🌹🌹🌹 Lisa!!! I just wanted to say that I find these videos of yours SO inspirational!!! You said that you feel like you are all over the place but I don't feel that way at all!!! I LOVE everything you share and the way you choose to share it... And I feel like you make all the information you've research so accessible... Maybe it's because we (you subscribers) have similar personalities... I really don't know... But everything you said in this video and some other ones you've done in the past (on your surgeries, IBS, weight, how to be more confident, etc.) - I listened and found so comforting and so relatable. And most of all, again, inspirational... Thank you so much for being so genuine and for sharing all this stuff with us... It is MUCH appreciated and needed by MANY of us, I'm sure... 🌹❤🌹
    P.S. I'm still watching the video but just imagining how you must be feeling right now make me feel so happy for you and so excited for myself as well. I would like to lose about 10 pounds (which probably doesn't seem like a lot to most people) but cellulite is something that I've always had so seeing how many changes your body has gone through gives me hope as well. I found what you said about not overexercising very interesting (and new to me) and also, what you said about sleep and losing fat (by exhaling) while we sleep... VERY interesting, noted, and will be put into practice as of tomorrow!!! Thank you again for being YOU and for being here 🌹🌹🌹...

    I’m at the same phase as you. 2 1/2 years ketovore, and now working on the atrophied muscle in core, thighs and butt. The toning is happening slowly but surely! Would love to see the exercises you’re doing. Aside from the weight training, I’ve added 30 minutes rebounding a day to my regimen, and it’s really helping! Your arms look great, btw!     I have just retired at age 66 and am furthering my journey of health. I really have never been too much overweight, but I need to lose maybe another 20 pounds to feel healthy and also firm up and improve my endurance. I found this to be one of the most inspirational videos you've made. Thank You, Lisa, and please continue to inspire us! I was Vegan for about 2 years and lost weight, but it didn't work for me in the long run. I've been eating relatively healthy and have lost 20 pounds but gained back about 5 during this hard last year so I feel I still need to lose about 20 more. I am thinking about exploring the Keto diet and coming up with something similar that will work better for myself and my lifestyle.

    Ive always been thin(underweight) and still had cellulite ,since my 30’s. Ive seen women with more body fat than me ,with none. Many factors determines if you’ll get it. I don’t live in a beach town so thankfully I don’t need to wear a swimsuit, just want to look good in my clothes.

      Agree, I'm a size 2, and I have cellulite on the backs of my thighs. My mom also has it, so definitely hereditary. Strength training definitely helps the appearance, but it never goes away on me.

      I’ve been no more than 120 at 5ft five all my life (less in my teens more during pregnancy) and I’ve always have had cellulite. It’s really embarrassing especially during the summer.

      I have always been slender, ate well and lifted weights since I was 17 years old. Cellulite has always been an issue. So much hard work, and I still cannot show my legs. I lived in Wilmington for a couple of years. It was so hard living by the coast and having to be covered up.

    Your videos are so cute and down to earth!. I'm 46, 4"11, 125lbs. I lost 28 lbs 3 years ago using Noom. My husband started carnivore and I joined him 4 months ago. I haven't lost weight (because I'm not really trying) and I eat like a pig! It's so liberating!
    I do want to get rid of the cellulite so I'll start putting in more effort.

    Lisa you are such an inspiration to me! I have lost several pounds just by lowering carbs in my healthy no processed foods eating. The information you provided in this video has given me encouragement because I've reached a plateau in losing weight and was getting discouraged. I've often said, at the age of 64, that I want to be an inspiration for my kids and to be the best I can be at my age so it was great to hear you say that, too!     I want to say how much I enjoy your videos! I'm originally from northern Illinois (Midwest girl), and I live and work in Las Vegas. It is hard to establish real friendships here in Las Vegas. I love watching RUclips videos to see new skincare, makeup and fashion. I feel like I'm sitting with an old friend when watching your videos. You are honest, real and a "girly" gal like myself. I am 51yrs. old, a nurse and a IFBB figure pro. After I turned 50, my thinking and focus is less on completing and now on maintaining my health, fitness and growing older gracefully. I might be 51, but I feel 32 and I love the fact that you enjoy clothing, makeup and wellness as much as myself. Sometimes I have been made to feel shallow (or immature) for enjoying these things, but you make me feel that I am not alone (women can be mean). I have an amazing man that is supportive of who I am and I am sharing my life with (he is a CPA). I do not spend outside of my budget, but enjoy your higher price purchases which keeps me up on the latest fashions in which I can find a similar item at my price point. It's nice to watch a You Tuber that is near my age that I can easily relate to. Addionally, your more personal chats have validated some of my experiences in my life as well. I don't usually comment on You Tube video's, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts with you today. Thank you for being you 😊

    I’m 103-105 and I feel like the biggest thing for me is strength training. You are so right when you talk about muscle atrophy! That is such a huge concern for me at this stage in my life!! I have my weights in my room and follow videos but it would be so great if you did a video and we all did a ‘challenge’ together! Maybe like a 3 month one or something- possibly on Instagram...

    This video couldn’t have come at a better time! My weight hasn’t budged ever since I turned 47. I’m about 5-8lbs heavier, not a big deal, except when your 5’ tall! Oh my Lisa my thighs are my problem area! Always have been. I hate wearing shorts (I live in the south 😩) so I’ve been self-tanning to just feel a tad better. Thank you for being so transparent. Yes we weight loss videos!
