It's all come down to this. All of the mail missions are done. We've moved into our new office ahead of schedule. All that remains is one final side goal: Buy a plot of land and build a house on it.
We had visions of building a nice two-bedroom, two-bathroom house that would be perfect for a couple that's getting their first house. We're instead going to end up with something that's the size of a medium-sized apartment and may just have enough space for a single person that just moved into town. But at least it looks like a house from the outside. 🤣

I've lived in 900ft² houses before, and this is... an ambitious design for such a tight space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms (only accessible through bedrooms, so tough luck to guests), a separate office, and even a foyer all competing for floor space... it's tight! Something with this footprint would be comfortable as 1bd/1ba or maybe even 2bd/1ba, and a house like this with a lawn like that doesn't get an attached garage; there's tons of room outside.
My initial hope was that the house was going to be more around 1200 square feet or so, but on a small lot those houses can't be made (which I didn't know ahead of time or I would have picked a medium lot). I think it turned out pretty well in the end given the corner into which I painted myself. 🤣
I laughed all the way through starting with your initial design. I knew the game measurements were wrong and you making every room practically a closet and not knowing until you were putting walls up had me on the floor lol
It definitely ended up being more like a dollhouse than a regular one. 🤣
I wish you had done this build on a livestream instead. I was screaming to my phone for you to hear that I had a lot of tips and ideas for you to make the house work, even with a “garage”. Tho not garage, but a storage room accessible from the outside 🤟 anyway! Love watching your videos either way 😂 keep em’ coming! Looking forward to see the decorating! It’s a challenge when the house is so small.
Just one side tip from one architect to a RUclipsr, always place the doors so that the door take up so little space as possible, also not colliding with other stuff. I’m pretty sure the master bedroom will not fit a bed inside if you still want to be able to open the door to the bathroom and the kitchen 🫣🤪both doors open in to the master bedroom and almost take up the entire room while open 😬 but we’ll see! Gonna be interesting to say at least! 👍👍
Also there’s long windows in the game that are really beautiful letting in a lot of LIGHT that would have been great in the exterior wall, dining room-kitchen. They at least LOOK like patio-doors. But you can not physically open them.
Long = tall/high. From floor to ceiling.

What is your obsession with hallways?
Most homes have them. 🙂 In this case, it's more of a foyer than a hallway, but there's no foyer option, so hallway it is.
