well you could argue that after initial fauliure of the first park... they learned on mistakes and made another even better one. In our own real world there would be a lot of hatred or opposition against such attempt after a catastrophy but if they made another park and guaranteed your safety... Would you not go? So lets assume they did something like what i said. it is plausible since they did mention previous events in each iteration of a new movie (like malcolm in the second and ian in the third, they knew events of the movies before) so assuming it is just a continuation of the series or it may aswell be a totaly new separate universe where they could recreate what the original would be in this time... :) Cheers

***** I do agree that it is a trend that's getting a bit old. It seems like that's usually many movie sequels' only gimmick, or at least the one it relies on. It was a fresh and bold idea to make a series vastly darker when Empire Strikes Back came out but now it's just the norm.

The Jurassic Park movies were my absolute favourite films as a kid. I would watch them once a week. I was already super, super, super excited for this and now I've discovered Chris Pratt is in it? Literal heart palpitations. And when those piano notes of that beautiful theme started I actually cried. Is that sad?

They let Hammond live a little longer even though he was killed by compies in the book. And they had Dodgson killed by dilophosaurus in the new movie while in "The Lost World" book, he's killed by a baby T-Rex like what happened to Hammond's nephew in the movie.

@@shahidmujawar6935 yes you can try it. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but it's legitimately the best movie of 2015.
I'd say its the second best Jurassic Park movie, with the original in 1st place, Dominion in 3rd, and FK in fourth. The two Jurassic Park sequels were both just boring, repetitive survival films, and I get that's the point about these movies, to survive, but the thing is, the JP sequels both lack the charm of the 1st film and rely too much on survival. In fact, they can't really call it "Jurassic Park 3" when there's no park. JP 2 is slightly justified by the "The Lost World" in its title, but its not off the hook. The same thing goes for it too.

I was a massive dinosaur fan as a kid . I saw this when I was 7 . I'm now 15 and still have watched this movie millions and a personal favourite movie

It really never feels like this came out 8 years ago, I remember seeing it with my dad when i was 7 around opening weekend. It was the first movie I ever saw in 3d, and the scene where the Indominous Rex roared over the waterfall and coming out of the screen has always stuck with me. I will always remember the hype and mystery I had surrounding this trailer and love these movies. No matter how long go without seeing them, I always find a way back. ❤

I expect the ultimate mashup. Dinosaur breaks out of lab. Star lord works to hunt it down. Dino appears beside star lord. "Clever girl," he whispers. Before he's eaten Groot sends tendrils through its nose. The dino lies bleeding and it's cries bring the dinosaur transformers from transformers extinction dropping from the sky via temporal anomaly. Iron man flies in to save the small boy who helped him in iron man 3. Spiderman comes to save Bryce Dallas Howard (again). Thor beams down and starts punching dinosaurs with lightning cause he likes punching stuff. Chaos ensues. Loki smiles from the sidelines.
I'm actually 13 and I love the series. It was the first movie I ever watched and I can't wait for this one to come out. Hopefully this one doesn't suck. And I think they said too much when they said that thing about the genetically bred Dino. It's kinda saying a huge portion of the movie already.
This movie was next level good. Definitely recommend it.

I watched Jurassic World in theaters when I was 5 years old, and I loved it as I grew up with Jurassic Park, The Lost World Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park 3. It blows my mind that that was 8 years ago.
Seriously though, nobody can enjoy a fun summer blockbuster movie like Jurassic World anymore. Everybody likes to nitpick the minor things in movies and call it trash.
If you hate it, it's your opinion. I thought this movie was a lot of fun and I definitely wanna see it again.

well, it was fun...but, the first hour was actually better than I ever thought the movie could be from the trailer. I genuinely got into it all. But when that fat dude who runs InGen really became more involved in the story it really frustrated me, he was too goofy almost. I felt like if you took him out of the whole thing it would have been better. I mean personally, I thought the kids would be the let down of the movie, but the little one did okay for me, he was actually a good actor, they both were, Usually the kids become the centre point, and you don't root for them because they seem to have the craziest luck and never die, so you don't feel concerned for them....but I didn't get that with the 2 brothers, they felt vulnerable which is a first.
Thing is, there's this thing now, where they kind of remake a movie....but it's technically a Reboot, and kind of a 'Add on' to the franchise. Where you do the same thing again but not directly remaking the movie, like Mad Max Fury Road, which it is basically Mad Max 2, but not a remake, and the thing is...they're starting to work now and it's the alternative to direct Remakes (like Robocop). And I felt like Jurassic World was nearing that place of Mad Max, but...it just felt as if it fell a bit short at the whole 'Use the raptors' part. Just kind of went a bit too far and over the top.
I mean, T-Rex has kind of had it's reputation beaten to a pulp in the franchise, so you couldn't just use that again as the main protagonist. And this whole Indominus Rex Idea was working for me, the fact they were making it as a weapon, and not just an attraction. It was such a good idea. But then it just sort of...went too far. Really dissapointed, because it was close. It wasn't bad, it was fairly decent...it's just it could have been REALLY good is all I'm saying :/

+Arsenal Gunner (AG28) I see your points. However, I didn't mind about the InGen guy, I thought he was a good human antagonist. Besides, he's played by Vincent D'Onofrio, who's played some really talented roles like Pvt. Pyle from Full Metal Jacket. So seeing him on screen is good enough for me. Besides, every JP movie has a human antagonist. The first movie had Dennis Nedry, The Lost World had Peter Ludlow, the third movie had the Kirby's and Billy for lying to Dr. Grant and putting themselves in danger in the first place. Now we have Hoskins (D'Onofrio).
I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked the two kids in this movie. Grey, the younger brother, is a really smart kid. He seemed like he had some sort of functioning autism by his fascination with dinosaurs and how he can quickly count the teeth on a dinosaur, just like how Dustin Hoffman can quickly count the number of toothpicks in Rain Man. Zach, the older brother, took me a while to like him, but he developed from an angsty little brat to a caring and protective big brother. So in the end, the main characters were totally likable like the characters in the first movie.
Yer, I guess. Maybe rather than remove him from the movie they made his role a bit more serious. Or just changed the script. I guess this is where taste comes into it.

There was a lot of pointless scenes to show off hte CGI, pointless love interest moments for the older brother, the entire film would have been cut short if the aunt just sent a text after calling or the military had some actual guns instead of driving a motorbike through a fucking jungle following some velociraptors. Also the whole "hide from a huge dinosaur behind a car as it tries to sniff us out, even though our heads are sticking above the front of the car and it could fucking see us" thing was done like 10 times.
The entire film was cheesey and full of cliche.

For people that don't understand, the dinosaurs especially the Raptors are NOT tamed. The director himself confirmed this, that doesn't mean that the Raptors can't be aimed like a weapon at the hybrid dinosaur. Also to people bitching about the hybrid D-Rex, if you think a hybrid is fucking with the source material then go back and read the novel. There is tons of that there. Plus all of the Dinosaurs in the park are not real dinosaurs because their code was spliced with a frog. So all of the dinosaurs are mutants, but the park took it further by making a hybrid. Jeez people, know your facts before you bitch.

plixplop It was also suggested in The Lost World(novel) that the cloned Carnotaurus took on the camouflage abilities of the lizards that its DNA was spliced with to complete the genetic code. A hybrid animal in an even more literal sense.
Is everyone really that hung up on the Raptors running beside Pratt? He's a Raptor trainer. You can train/domesticate almost any animal, even reptiles. So why is it so hard to believe that he can train velociraptors? Raptors (in these movies) are more intelligent than Dolphins, which would, in theory, make it even easier to train them. This makes total sense and I'm glad they're finally doing something like this.
The raptors had an incredible fear factor to them before, especially with the Kitchen Scene in the first movie. I just hope there are some untrained raptors as well to return them to scariness.
What reptiles can you train? Most of them are really dumb.
You can train birds though. And dinosaurs are much closer to birds. Plus, Jurassic Park velociraptors are supposed to be really really smart (they can open doors for one thing). Of course you could train them.
I personally think this is absolutely brilliant idea. I loved bad raptors from the original, but why not have some on our side, right? This thing alone could make this film very entertaining. I just hope they don't underuse this idea. You could really base the whole movie on this idea, but then you also have to have the whole park, other dinosaurs and that hybrid. I really hope the trained raptors are some of the main characters in the film.

Intelligence in animals is a double edged sword as far as training and domestication go. Behavioral learning is one thing, but curiosity and oppositional defiance (characteristic even in some breeds of dog) can make training a challenge. The more you augment the size and power of the animal (think whales, tigers), the more risky and dangerous and unpredictable it can be. Birds are highly intelligent, and if you factor in the sheer size and power of dinosaurs -- not to mention the unpredictability of resurrecting and genetically enhancing poorly understood animals -- the risks of training can be pretty high I imagine.

You all have wanted this movie for years, and you judge the entire movie (that hasn't even been released yet) on its trailer? I see people complaining about the acting when there is only 7 short scenes with dialogue. We haven't even got to see their relationships with each other yet. The director mainly focused on the dinosaurs in this trailer, and you know why? Because he knew you ingrates wanted to see the fucking dinosaurs above everything else. And what pisses me off even more is that you don't even have hope for this movie. You just write it off as another shitty sequel when you haven't even seen the movie. Complaining about the hybrid dinosaur? Do you not remember the Dilophosaurus mutant from the first movie or the fact that any of the dinosaurs could just sprout a penis? Or the Carnotaurus from the book? Yeah, all hybrids. Now they've never spliced 2 dinosaurs together, but they've spliced them with other animals to make weird mutant things. That's no different. And to the people complaining about the CGI: IT ISNT DONE YET. I can't believe people don't get it. There has been literally millions of comments about this and no one seems to catch on. CGI for a film is usually finished a week before the film is released (and even now it looks passable.) This guy Colin Treverrow has worked really hard to give you a movie that you've been wanting for years and this is how you react? Sure the new ideas are a little out there, but bringing dinosaurs back from the dead is pretty out there in and of itself. You all are entitled to your opinions, I'm not saying you should end up liking the movie. But all this judging before ACTUALLY WATCHING IT is a little ridiculous, and you are ruining the hype for the rest of us who have been waiting for this movie since 2001. I personally it looks 10x better than the last two, and I'm sure I won't be disappointed on June 12th!

I saw it and it sucks. I had real high hopes as I like a few cast members as actors, iI love Jurassic Park movies and I'd hope they pay proper homage to Steven and Industrial Light n Magic. I agree on not being picky about a trailer but that's kind of incorrect to say. Trailers are for strung people up and getting people to talk about the movie and what they think before it comes out. It's leaked all over though… but usually good movies have more positive reviews on just the trailer, there is something a lot of fans are seeing that equals a crap movie compared to the others. Just saying.

I think the main reason people don't really know how to react is because is completely different from anything they were expecting.
That shot of Chris Pratt with the Raptors running next to him was super fucking awesome though, we will finally get to see them running at full speed, unlike that 3 second shot from JPIII.
And to everyone complaining about the CGI, chill out, they will have a lot of animatronics, they even showed a Raptor robot on set, and the shadow of the animatronic hybrid.
So yeah, a part of me does wish i got more hyped from this trailer, but no matter what, i will be there watching when it comes out.
It will be diffrent and it should be. We had 3 movies so now it´s time for something new. Unless it turns out to be really stupid and contrived then yes but you will have to see the movie first. I think it looks really astonishing. Some Dinosaurs looked really good and some looked okay. The first movie will always be a mile stone for how well it potrayed it´s dinosaurs so realisticly. I will now shy away from any new trailer for the risk of them showing the hybrid. I want to be suprised how it looks.

No, not all dinosaurs are CGI, some are animatronics, some are people in costumes and yes some are CGI, if you ask which one is which, i have no idea, but i do know they are not all CGI.

it´s been almost 8 years... what a ride. Despite of how things ended, Jurassic World is one of the best things from the past decade. I´ll never forget how excited 12 years old me was to see this on the theater. Hope they give the franchise some rest now, we need time to recover from that disaster called Dominion.
I don't know if anyone has realized this yet but if you have watched Jurassic World, Irrfan Khan or Masrani says that "You can see it in their eyes" when he asks Claire how happy the animals are. In Life of Pi, Irrfan Khan acts as Pi a boy who's parents own a zoo, and at the zoo there is a tiger and he gets in trouble for feeding it with his father. He says to his father, "Animals have souls. I have seen it in their eyes."

Got the chills watching this trailer. The original Jurassic Park was basically my childhood. Not expecting this one to be as good as the first, just happy they're making another one and ready to see how good it will be. So excited for June 12.

Alex Hall Alex I think that as long as it has the same tone and feel of the first movie it'll be great. That brachiosaurus shot and the island lockdown with Chris Pratt pumping his shotgun ready for a fight for his life... and the kid watching helplessly at the dinosaur and all we see is the shadow... man the trailer alone has ranked this film higher up then the two sequels.
The whole hybrid thing was definitely the right direction to go. The park has been open for years, people are now accustomed to seeing T-Rex's and all the other dinosaurs, they are no longer blown away by them, they are just the norm. So now they need to up the stakes with this hybrid to attract the tourists
It's funny because if this was real I'm pretty sure people wouldn't get bored of dinosaurs, I mean people still go to normal zoos!

Jurassic park- just a test tour but the park wasn't opened yet
The Lost World- animals were exported but they never opened the park since the T-Rex escaped
Jurassic Park 3- There wasn't even a park being opened in that one, everything took place on an island, not a theme park
That's why in opinion this one is much more fascinating since it plays off the thought everyone has had since the first Jurassic Park, "What if the park was opened and actually successful?

Awesome! I like the simple premise of the film. The humans need to team up with the "normal" dinosaurs in order to take down the hybrid dinosaur that they created. Very cool. I just hope T-rex makes his grand return. I would hate to see him shoved to the sidelines like he was in JP3. He is the logo after all, and by far the most popular and coolest dinosaur out there. T-rex vs. D-rex, I hope it happens!

Went to watch this movie with my brother when it first came out and I was literally in tears. The new soundtrack and encredits were absolutely beautiful. The kids were cheesy, yes, but the movie still had amazing moments. Middle half of the movie was pure tension. The raw power of the indominous rex had me at the edge of my seat. This movie took all the nice bits from the first 3 movies and mashed them together surprisingly well. An amazing loveletter for the fans.
Let's not talk about Fallen Kingdom doe. That movie was utter shit. Makes JP3 look decent (JP3 is actually decent on my book doe) the script was a fucking mess. The hunters were boring asf. And the indoraptor was laughable at best. The damn thing wasn't even intimidating. I've never felt so disgusted while watching a JW movie before
I remember my mom showing me this for the first time knowing that Jurassic Park was an extremely special series to me. 9 year old me kept jumping up and down in excitement yelling "NEW JURASSIC PARK!!! NEW JURASSIC PARK!!!!"
