this is what I need to do next Im running 275/70r17 on 2 inch coilover etc. and getting rubbing on the inner frame on turns. Had to trim corner of bumper as well. New to lifts and working through it.

No change of gears is necessary? I've been told that you'd need to get closer to 4.03 ratio or your RPM's will be excessive and your power/torque will suffer

Curious why at 6:12 the rear arm of lift on drivers side is directly on side step. It didnt start out there and it gets changed back shortly after. ???

They quoted me $5200 for the shock kit installed for the GX lift and uca's when I called no wheels/rims. The parts are about $3200 to $3500 to buy outright at filthy motorsports. 5-6 hours of labor on average for other lifts so its $1700 for the installation. Not sure if that includes alignment and seems they have a couple guys working on it and they're doing quite a few gx's so they have experience working on them.

How was your MPG affected by these modifications?
If you're worried about MPG, dont by a vehicle with the wind coefficient of a brick.
Doing the headers and "cat-back" will net an increase of ~4mpg fyi.
Why are people doing this now?
~ 4-Runners that have NOT been beat on are getting harder to find and increasing in price.
~ "Stereotypical original Lexus owners" have service records for all factory recommended maintenance ~ has 100k miles? It's practically new.
~ The resale value is terrible (or at least it was). The difference in price between that clean 4Runner and a comparably "clean" GX was very small (I don't know if this is still true since this alternative has become a popular idea)
~ "Stereotypical original Lexus owners" dump these and they are very hard to resell to the luxury customer -> for reasons most in off road community do not care much about ~ obsolete stock electronics, aging suspension, shame of owning a 10 year old car, whatever ~ Lexus folks have the ability to replace a perfectly working car for a newer one ~ so they do.
~ Very small percentage of GXs were ever beat on (compared to 4Runners).
~ So much to tinker with. It is a wolf in sheep's clothing but mods are necessary to free it from the mall parking lot it was condemned to. Many weekends of fun improving performance towards this new purpose (not sure there is any fun in paying someone else to do it...)
~ Still a Lexus ~ excellent reliability and comfort ~ after an hour or two of driving to the trail, we are fresh and ready to go!

Looks like its squatting. Rear spring delete adjustable like the one from ironman? If so, you need to go up 1/2".
