Tobias Menzies is a phenom. He is such an exceptional talent. It's a sure bet that when you see him, you're going to get an outstanding portrayal/performance every time. He's brilliant.
I just recenlty discovered 'Outlander' (well im on season 4 now!) and Tobias had shown superb acting in this series! I cant get over Black Jack Randall and just looking at Tobias scares me..lol He was that good!

Tobias was wonderful in Outlander. Great at portraying the twisted Jack Randall but also great at portraying Frank who is basically a nice guy thrown into awful circumstances. Credible in both roles and I don’t think that would have been easy.
He MADE the Outlander series for me. I lost interest in the show when he left to play in "The Crown" series. I'd never noticed him acting in any other show or movie but I was amazed at how much other tv, movie and stage work he's done. He always brings his "A" game to whatever part he does. So versatile!
He didn't actually leave to play in Crown. According to the book, he died & they were just following the book. I miss him & loved his performance. Sam, is my favorite, but Tobias was my 2nd favorite. I tried to watch Crown but he isn't in it enough to keep me interested. I wish Outlander could bring him back as a different character.
If you’ve not seen H.B.O.’s “Rome”, in which Mr. Menzies plays Brutus, I recommend it highly. The writing of the second series is uneven, as the series was cancelled quite suddenly, but the direction and work of the cast overcame that weakness as well as one might hope.
Tobias is a great actor! Here he is very real and candid about the reality of it all. It's hard work, hours and unglamorous times, but the love for it and perseverance are allies in its pursuit!
Hello Tobias.. just want to tell you that i have seen many many movies and series, but your caracter Jack Randall in Outlander is one of the most scariest roles i ever seen. Super nice job. Tobias Menzies is sooo cool. He’s really great actor. His face, his voice, his acting.. British accent is very difficult for me as a foreigner but this man's speech is so nice. I’m so interested in this man since 2016 ( Underworld: Blood Wars ) But I've been more and more interested lately. The Terror was a perfect tv drama.. And his acting was so perfect too ✨ I watched Rome and Outlander just for him 🤭 He’s amazing in Outlander. He was so great in Black Jack and Frank✨ Magnificent! Just WOW ✨ I’m on Frank’s team by the way 🤗 He was amazing This Way Up, Forget Me Not and Modern Love. He’s so great actor✨ And so cool✨ And I hope to see him in more and more productions✨
Just binge-watched this show - amazing double role. Radiates such kindness and sensitivity as Frank and is evil incarnate at Jack Randall - but even there with a touch of vulnerability. Impressive.
I remember first seeing you playing a very troubled young man deeply unhappy with his parents, with good reason. Subtle, and very nicely done. That was in an episode of Foyle’s War. That work stuck in my head, and seeing you in Outlander, then in The Crown showed the wonderful range and promise you possess. I know you have done much more, and i hope to see you staying very busy in a craft you work so well.

Hace años atrás descubrí que todo tiene un significado y se puede saber mucho acerca de cómo es una personal por la morfología de su rostro. No tengo conocimiento del tema pero por pura intuición diría que esas líneas parecen asociadas con una gran tristeza, parecen lágrimas que rodaron por sus ojos e hicieron mella en su rostro.

Black Jack Randall is gruesome as a character and Frank seems kinda not a nice guy... He does his duty to Brianna it's more about his needs than Claire's... I don’t know what kind of man Mr Menzies is, but consider this: my grandson is also an actor. Growing up, The word that described Cory best was “kind”. He was sensitive to others, and still is very much both those things. He is also very good at playing the most chilling villains. He is an actor. His job is to be the most convincing character he is called on to play. That too is what good actors are meant to be: convincingly who they play. Mr Menzies was very convincingly who he played, both men he played, in Outlander. He is a man very good at his craft.

Just like everyone watched Dallas for JR Ewing, I watched Outlander for Frank. It just became 50 shades of Tartan later on.
