    I have this beauty as my center channel since a month now and I’m in love with it, coming from a RP-250C it has way more lows and the tweeter sounds a bit more clear. This is a keeper!

    Just ordered this and a set of RP-8060F to replace Jamo S 83 and S 809 (with the ATMOS top speakers added). I'm expecting to be blown away. The rest of the 7.2.2 is Klipsch RP already, so it made sense to finally retire the old Jamos

    Nice unboxing again. Thank you. This is a beautiful beast of a centre speaker. While I cherish getting one, it isn't ideal for a small room with clutter everywhere. It is so deep it wouldn't even fit underneath my tv stand. For now I'll keep my little q acoustics 3090ci centre speaker which is paired with q acoustics 3030i bookshelf. Maybe, God's willing in the future I'll get one.

      Youthman thank you! Bad news though. My order got cancelled by the vendor due to item being out of stock. I bought it on impulse due to the price being too good. My question is I have R-625FA as my front channel floor standing speakers. It looks like pairing a RP Center channel may not be the best route as everywhere I’m reading says to keep the main 3 front speakers on par with the quality of sound. Would it be over kill if I buy the RP-504c for my center channel or should I keep the center channel as a reference model?

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  4 года назад

      Typically I do recommend keeping them in the same series but there are plenty of people that have used a center channel from a different series with great results.
      If you plan on one day upgrading to the reference premier towers, then by all means get the 504C

      Hello Guys,
      I was debating the same thing before I purchased the RP-504C. I was originally looking at purchasing a RP-450CA but since it is now discontinued, the only place I can get it is Klipsch.com for 849.00. So I got the RP-504C walnut to match my towers. Once you put the coat on it. I mean cover they all look alike.
      Funny, while I was commenting on this video and who calls me "Klipsch".
      YM is really blessed to be a spokesman for Klipsch and the excitement on his face during his presentation speaks volumes about his personality. I really enjoy his videos.

    I trying to decide. I've been upgrading my stereo from quality. Started with changing from a 15 inch powered certain vega sub to an SVS pb 2000 pro. It's only 12 inch but the quality is way better than the cerwin. Then I got some klipsh RP-8000F to go with the sub and love them. Now I'm looking to upgrade my center channel and I'm on the fence between these rp504c and the rp600c. My current one is a cerwin Vega that is the same size as the 600c with 2- 6.5 inch woofers. So do I get the same speaker in klipsh or do I go for smaller but more woofers? I went smaller on the sub box and it's far superior, but will it be the same for the center speaker. Tough decision to make here.

    Thank you very much for your sharing :-), i really enjoy to watching your posted . I have one question about this one. The online spec mentioned "NOMINAL IMPEDANCE 8 ohms compatible" , my question is: how does it connected inside those 5 8 ohms so it can show 8 ohms to amplifier?

    • @Youthman

      You don’t have to worry about the ohms. Nominal just means average impedance. I have had speakers that were 8ohm nominal dip down to just above 2ohm during low frequencies.

    • @Youthman

      That would be an extremely subjective answer. Also a lot depends on your budget. I could recommend a JTR subwoofer but if $3000 is above your budget, my recommendation would not be of much help. Lots of great subwoofers out there (JTR, SVS, Seaton, HSU, etc) as well as great AVR's (I recommend Denon and Marantz or an AVR with Dirac).

      Hey there Youthman I see you did the unboxing of the Klipsch rp-504c center channel but how does it sound is this center better than the svs center which you had a chance to hear? All I know is the rp-504c is the best in the RP lineup. But how would you stack the Klipsch rp-504c center against the SVS ultra center channel as they are both in the same price range? I have right now 2 klipsch rp-280f towers and I’m wondering if I should just get the rf64iii center as I might get 2 rf7iii down the road or if I should get the rp-504c or the svs ultra center??? No store has these on display no Best Buy in my area so I’m left to ask people who have had a chance to hear these centers in person let me know your thoughts please? I love both Klipsch and svs I just haven’t heard the center channels of these companies?

    • @Youthman
      @Youthman  5 лет назад

      SVS Center has phenomenal dialogue but it will not sound well when paired with Klipsch Towers. Two completely different sound signatures.
      The RF7 III are much better than the Ultra Towers so my vote would be to get the RC64 III and work towards the RF7 III.
      The RP-504C sounds great but I feel the SVS Center is a better speaker.

      Youthman thanks a lot for the help I am going to go ahead and get the Klipsch rc64iii I am running it on a Marantz sr6013 so 110watts per channel. Kinda weird when I run my Xbox one X the sound is great and I don’t have to turn it past volume 55 however on cable watching football I have my Marantz cranked up to volume 75? So because of this I am looking at getting a Emotiva XPA-DR3 amp all 3 channels driven at 450watts to power my front stage. Any thoughts on Emotiva amps? The DR3 looks like a powerhouse. Wow, I’ve never heard of that. I would try and troubleshoot by unplugging one sub and see if it does it. Then plug it back in and unplug the other one. It’s tedious but make one small change at a time to see if you can narrow down what is causing the problem.

      Wow, that’s a hard question since I feel the sub and center are the two most important aspects of a home theater.
      You can temporarily get by without a center as your receiver can route that info to your mains. The sub however is difficult to do without as it provides so much emotion during a movie. So my vote is a quality sub.

      I appreciate your thoughts Ray and you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
      What you might not know is have bought and owned over 50 pair of Klipsch over the past 12 years, have been a moderator in the Klipsch forum and am a part of 3 Klipsch Facebook groups. I share about products I’m excited about. Notice I have never reviewed any of Klipsch entry level speakers (like the R28F) as I don’t believe they sound that great.
      I am completely up front on any sponsored deal I make and only align with brands and products I would use in my own home theater.
      Thanks for watching,
      Michael

      It just seems like a conflict of interest to review/advertise a product for a sponsor. A true critical analysis cannot be done if you want to remain with that sponsor. I recently purchased the RP-504C, and it performs well below my expectations. Maybe 6” or 6 1/2” mid-drivers would be better. Maybe I need more power, but expected my new Denon AV-X3600H to be enough. I plan on selling the new 504C and the Klipsch towers since they all generally sound flat. It’s most likely my fault thinking the Klipsch middle line of speakers were going to be awesome. If you want great sound it costs. The 504C is certainly better than my 55XBR TV’s speaker, but anything would be. I have my setup in a 12’ x 20’ room and that may be too large.

      @@Youthman This is very sad :( I hope Donald Trump will fix that because I want to support american families, not the greedy chinese.

      @@cjxa7649 I'm all for supporting American companies but how exactly are the Chinese greedy for manufacturing products? We manufacture products and ship them overseas. Does that make Americans greedy too? Food for thought. :)

      Sounds like America too. I’m pretty sure we are all born with those tendencies.
