    I haven’t been able to get any knowledgeable support for my epson F170 surecolor printer when calling epson. It was so frustrating. When searching on RUclips for help, most videos have been for the sawmill or someone those who purchase an epson printer not made for sublimation and make it one, which voids the warranty and support from Epson should you need it. I thought when buying the Epson specifically made for sublimation that support would be there and it definitely has not been. I am so thankful for stumbling upon these videos! I have decided to start a small business and these videos have been very helpful!!

    When i print from cricut, I'm unable to get the high quality mode. Does anyone know how to change the printer settings? I cant seem to find the option that allows me to do that. Therefore, when I sublimate, my images come out darker.

    I am having wheel issues with the DTF printing. Dragging through the ink. I have been told to use the glossy setting but there is only 2 modes... rigid or textile and they both don't work.

    Hi there. I'm trying to do DTF printing. I use a DTF film, run that through my SureColor F170. When it's done printing, it has "pizza wheel" marks on the film. Which then gets transferred onto my garment. I've researched lots on how to avoid the pizza wheels, with no luck. What do you recommend I try?

    When I print on my F170 should I use Standard or Fine for print quality along with the Ridgid for my Tumblers?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  6 месяцев назад +1

      If you want the highest quality print in Fine or Super fine if it allows. Also, uncheck the bidirectional printing checkbox. This will give you the sharpest dot. Under the quality settings do not check the box that says Finest detail. This should only be used for type and not images. It actually makes images less detailed.

    I'm getting the pizza wheel on my very first print, on sublimation paper. I used Textile, high quality print.

      Hi @user-ve1og3yj4p, Epson’s desktop dye-sublimation printers print quickly with vibrant details. Epson DS Multi-Use paper features a microporous instant-dry coating technology that delivers optimal print quality and print speed. Using papers that do not have instant-dry coating technology may cause wet ink to transfer to the paper guide supports resulting in a “dotted line” appearance on the print. A solution to fix this is to feed multiple sheets of plain paper through the printer to remove excess wet ink buildup and switch to an instant dry dye-sub transfer paper such as Epson’s Multi-Use paper.

    Need help clearing a clogged head on Magenta. Probably printed 20 pages of full magenta and I won’t unclog. I do t want to do the deep clean.

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  Месяц назад

      We would recommend doing a cleaning. The cleaning will pulse differently than when printing and should shake it clear. Please be sure to check the humidity in your room with a hygrometer to be sure you are within the recommended levels.

    How do I make sure there are no streaks on my print? I have printed without issue on sublimation paper; however, when I attempted to print on DTF film there were random black dots. I have played with the printer settings and am still having this issue. Thank you in advance.

      On theFILM, believe it or not...I tried this, when using film if you are in a adobe program or any software look in the options category in printing options. If you use Photoshop, you will have a Printer Profile Under Color Management, near the Color Handling Option right below. When printing like when printing a layer or any, you press Cntrl P at same time that box that comes is this I am referring to. Please make sure to try Glossy in settings for Films at Standard. The material in Glossy Paper Printing is made for non-smearing due to its sleek design of a paper in the first place. Then why not for the Film set at Standard. It will lay on thick and sharp. It worked for me.

    .printer is too dark....HELP

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  Год назад

      Hi JulieAnne, we believe that this is probably due to the profile. We do not use Silhouette, but as long as the software prints and uses RGB Profiles, you should be okay. Simply use the appropriate profile in the profiles folder. These should have downloaded with the driver.

      @julieannebatelaan5329, what you're experiencing may be ghosting. Are you seeing the silhouette after you're pressing the object or are you noticing this on the transfer paper right out of the printer? Reach out to info@itsupplies.com and we'd be happy to help troubleshoot this with you.

    using F170, Is there needs to use melt powder before heat press ?

    • @ITSuppliesINC
      @ITSuppliesINC  Год назад

      Hello Haruna! No, you do not need to use a melt powder. Your substrate should be polyester or have a polymer coating on the substrate to accept the dye ink.

    • @ITSuppliesINC

      Hello, a common thing we hear is color ouput not matching our monitor's color output. The monitors today have a massive color gamut compared to the printer's color gamut capability. Often leaving us scratching our heads once we print the perfectly designed file we see on our screens. Frustrating right!? There is a way to correct this. We recommend investing in a monitor calibration device to help with this frustration. Setting your monitor's color output to what your printer can do from a color output standpoint. This aligns your expectations in designing and print output for a more enjoyable and satisfying experience saving you valuable time and money. We do not believe this is a possibility, however, you could potentially use remote access software and send a job through your computer to your printer from afar. We use Teamviewer for such a thing.
