Justin, I believe it is important to show how to mount them at least briefly. Maybe it is not the most watched part of the video, but for those that are looking for it, is crucial
Very nice review Robey! The T30 fans are impressive. It would be interesting to test these AIOs with a standard fan to take that variable out. I almost never use the fans that come with the AIO. Currently I am using 6x BeQuiet SW Pro 4s with a Kraken z73 and am loving it. Will you be reviewing the new Kraken elite? I would love to see if there are any performance differences between that and the old one or if they just updated the screen and that’s it! Thanks for the great content as always
Greetings! This is a great review and omg these noise levels with that performance are insane!! By the way i would like to see a review for the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360/420 as well because a lot of people say that this is the best option for most cases. I would like to see your view on that. Thank you!
Too expensive for $250. I got the glacier one 240mm t30 since it was release, works great. But for 360mm, that $50-60 too expensive. Now that T30's are mostly available, you can just get any 360mm aio like arctic liquid freezer II(here in asia, you can get it at below $100), and the 3 T30 fans. So in total, it could cost just around $180. T30s are really very quiet at 2000rmp and load at 3000rpm but the pitch is really not annoying(at least to me). Personally, what I found is that you would find the noise noticeable at around 80% fan speed, which is around 2700rpm. So you just need to set it to advance and adjust the fan curve so that the highest is only 2600-2700rpm and it would be super quiet.
Which AIO would be able to handle the 13900K ? I recently just got the Coolermaster 360 Flux White version. Going to install it this weekend. My first choice was the phantek glacier one 360 White but it’s been out of stock for months.
Can you please tell us how it compares to EK-Nucleus Lux noise levels? You forgot to tell us noise levels of Nucleus when you tested it so now I don't know which one to buy... :(
Great Review! Would have loved to see the instal as well, I'm just about to build my very first PC so looking for as much intel as possible since I've decided to go with this AIO for the 13900K. you've got yourself a new Subscriber.
luv the review format. Yeah thats great cooling but I feel the price is way to high for what it brings to the table. I recently upgraded my corsair aio with phanteks fans and honestly I think I'm getting darn near the same performance and have spent waay less.
1 fan is 0.36A, 3 fan daisy chain connect into single fan header is over 1A already.... any risk to daisy chain 3 fan into 1 fan header?? ass those on board fan header is just 12V 1A only.... if conect 3 fan into 1 port, it will over 1A....
Just replace the fans on the Corsair with T30s and you'll probably get the same temps, I doubt the Asetek 8th gen pump is that much better than CoolIT's pump on the various Corsair AIOs.
I have a Phanteks 360 Gen2 installed.JJ'II have I have temperatures approaching 100 degrees on several cores in office use. I had much better results with the Corsair h150i.
how's the pump noise on this? Had the Asus ROG Ryuo III the other 8th Gen pump aio and had to return it because the pump noise was too much, you can hear it from the other room. Reviewers and forums have stated that the pump noise was really loud and i finally could confirm it. Not sure if it's the same with this one considering it uses the same pump?? can anyone confirm pump noise levels?
You might be thinking of the Glacier One original version, not gen2 .. apparently gen2 fixed the noisy pump issue plaguing the original Glacier One (would love some extra confirmation on this though...)
@@drayquan23 would love to see some confirmation and testing as well. Glacier v2 It's one of the only two AIOs as far as i know that use Asetek's 8th gen pump. ROG Ryuo III being the other, ROG Ryuo III is the the loudest AIO I've ever installed lol. The pump noise was bad, the mystery remains. Is it just the ROG Ryuo III that's loud or is it the 8th gen pump that's loud. Mystery! we need answers lol
Just think...If they'd designed this AIO as well as they did the T30s, or EK did the Nucleus, or DC did the LS720 or even Corsair did with the H150I Elite...It would be an insane monster of an AIO. But, they didn't, so it's just there sharing the top position with other AIOs. If I were the Phanteks CEO, I'd be embarrassed. It's not an incredible AIO - the T30s make it one. Put those T30s on the other AIOs you talked about and watch that Phanteks AIO cry.
With what AIO would you add some T30s? Heard AF2 has some issues with theur little fan in the pump, seems either EK, DC, or kraken are the best options out there.
Cheaper? Yes. Better? No. The Glacier One's T30 fans and new pump **on the Gen2 version* are objectively superior tech vs. whats offered with the Arctic liquid freezer ii. The Freezer ii is probably better overall value-per-dollar though (depending on pricing/availability in your region), and it does get the job done well, but has some downsides (1 of these explained below) -- One major downside of the Arctic Freezer ii is the resonance sound its cheaper p12 fans emit within a significant mid-range of their rpm (NOT turbulence wind/air noise, NOT rattling -- Fan resonance is a more subtle low pitched humm). Subjectively this factor is extremely annoying, but it doesn't bother everyone and plenty probably don't even notice it; Its common with many different fans that come with some of the most popular AiO's these days. Unfortunately this factor is almost never covered in reviews (one reason is because it can't be specifically measured by the the Db/sound instrumentation available to reviewers).
Finally a review on this AIO. Been waiting for comparisons to hop on this or not
Got this cooler for my 13700k recently. It's crazy good! I specifically wanted something that isn't gaudy, and just performs like crazy.
Been waiting for someone to review this bad boy
Nice! I woke up to my NZXT fans the other night!! And temp is still up to the sky. Really good review!
10:50 why is that line saying GPU temp while every other line is saying CPU? Across every slide?
Thinking exactly the same thing😂
Justin, I believe it is important to show how to mount them at least briefly. Maybe it is not the most watched part of the video, but for those that are looking for it, is crucial
Appreciate the feedback!
Luckily it’s the same as the Ryuo in this case
I also think it should be shown it would be a big help to us.
Pls put the installation guide in the vid

Plans to compare to it the Arctic LF2?
Yeah I stopped watching after I noticed no ALF2 data

Wished they offered a version with no fans, as I just got 10 of them previously 😊

I would agree put the installation back in the video pretty please! 😊
Noise is #1 for me.
We always talk about fan noise but what about the pump?
I've read some not too flattering things about the Asus but how does this model perform?
thanks for the review!
What's the difference with Gen1 v1? How does It compare tò Lian li Galahad II Trinity Performance 240? Where Is It listed? Cannot find It anywhere

Could you compare these thermals against the Arctic III series?
I dont see an Arctic Liquid Freezer II. The price to performance is great on this one, so please check them out.
I have the T30's on my H150 elite and they are just stellar fans. Moved the Corsair RGB fans to the case for the light show..
Amazing quality of video
Glad you think so!
Put the install back in pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee😂. I for have not built a new PC in 10 years, and I still had an issue installing the AIO last week
You have a Bar Label that says GPU instead of CPU

👍
The D30 fans actually performed considerably worse due to the shorter fan blades to accommodate for the big casing.
Do you know if the D30 version vs T30 version are the same AIO apart from them having different fans?
D30 is not asetek
How would it perform with the D30 fans??

how about CB r23 and Prime 95 with a 13900k.. Seems like a lot of fo headroom for oc with this one.

would be great in a NV7 so you have enough room for the thicc boi fans.
those pressures are impressive AF.
Any risk to put 3 fans in cpu fan header?? tbh... a bit worry of overload.....
Nope
Amazingly it looks like there is an actual difference in temps from the Corsair's... Gonna have to give The Glacier a try soon!

Swap t30 on h150i and check temps
If if is approaching 100° it's not the AIO itself, either it's not mounted correctly (foil on the plate or wrong position) or your CPU has issues.
Can we install D30 RGB FANs on this one ?
Was wondering the same. Even thinking on using push pull only to add the D30 fans :D
